After a semester-long love affair with Lost Pizza, it comes to an abrupt conclusion. My boyfriend and I went to dinner in Tupelo to celebrate the fall semester coming to a close. It was more an hour before they closed, literally had the food in front of us at 8:18. My boyfriend is a very picky eater and requested no veggies on his favorite sandwich. It came out just the opposite, he told the waiter and had it sent back, only to have the same sandwich that someone had just picked off the veggies for him return with some veggies still on there! There were crumbs, trash, and hair at the drink machine. The waitresses seemed more focused on getting out of the store at straight up 9pm than the people still in the building. This ruined our date and we do not plan to come back to Lost Pizza in Tupelo. read more

Atmosphere was common with the retro style but very well maintained and clean. You order at the front with very friendly and knowledgable staff. Then head to your table with a number. Lunch special with a small pizza, drink, and small garden salad was very reasonable for the quality of food. Pizza was just the right size if not a little much. I can't believe this place has such a high rating. I feel like the high ratings are false. I wish it would have stayed lost to us. In it's defense, no one probably considers Tupelo the Mecca for pizza. But having said that, I really don't like paying $10 for 4 pieces of CiCi's pizza, or the medium 8 pieces for $20. No exaggeration, a small personal and drink is over $10. A med and drink is $20. And the taste and boringness of the pizza is what you would find at a CiCi's or the frozen section of your local grocery store. Again not exaggerating, I am almost certain the crust are those pre-made kind you find frozen or on the chef-boy-ardee isle in the grocery. The only reason I can think that anyone would pay such exorbitant prices is that the area of Tupelo is extremely wealthy and the vibe of this place as a hangout is what everyone pays for and not the pizza. I will say all the decorations on the walls are cool, but not worth the high prices. The place is also clean. I am not from the area, just passing through with the family but if I am ever in the area again I would never return to this place. To the owner, if you read this, this is not an attack on you or your establishment. Instead this should be viewed as on opportunity to look inward and decide if selling pre-processed style, small pizzas at a really high price is what you want to do. Or maybe look at making your own dough and some better ingredients in order to justify the high price or continue with the same ingredients and lower your prices to be more in line with other mall type pizza in the area. read more

Prices were a little high and they don't deliver, so if you need it delivered you have to use Tupelo2Go which makes the prices even a little higher than that. A different type of restaurant, as they have no wait staff, you order, get your drinks, sit down, and eat. However, this place is probably the best pizza place I've ever been to, so I highly recommend! Their menu is extensive, with every type of pizza on there you can think of, including a make your own option. We had a pulled pork pizza. Amazing! We got a medium and split it between three people, with plenty for all. They also have good craft beer - another plus in my book! I'm surprised this place gets such a high rating. I had a personal size thin crust pepperoni pizza. The crust wasn't nice and crisp. It had the doughy consistently of a frozen pizza. While the toppings had plenty of cheese, there was very little pepperoni. The entire dish tasted almost identical to a lackluster frozen pizza. Ambiance is just a big loud room with some interesting memorabilia on the walls. I'd eat here again, but the quality of the food is meh at best. read more

I first went when it opened and made the mistake of getting the thin crust pizza, which tasted pre-made and I wasn't impressed. On this visit, we got the pan crust "Otis" and a dozen hot wings. I can say without a doubt that this place has the best hot wings in town, period. The pan crust was good and buttery tasting without being greasy and not too thick. First, being originally from Chicago I do consider myself a deep dish pizza snob. That being said, I was passing thru Tupelo on business and staying in a hotel very near The Lost Pizza Co. I wanted something to take back to the room and decided to go with a pizza. I knew it wouldn't be deep dish but I was hungry. I am glad I did. The restaurant is not huge, but adequately sized for most diners. It looked to have an adequate assortment of beverages and was clean. I decided to go with the Popeye Pizza...chicken, spinach, onions, cheese and Alfredo sauce. I am so glad I made this choice for dinner. The pizza was awesome, the service terrific and the prices very reasonable. It's not often that I really like a 'normal' pizza. read more

We stayed at the days inn literally down the road, and was craving pizza, we called this place at 835, put in an order at 845pm and they close at 9pm. I was treated with a lot of courtesy and friendliness being so close to close to closing. The pizza was awesome, a medium pizza could feed three people. I got the Otis (meat lovers) and it was so filling, I ate 3 slices of 8 and that was one too many. I was also given a free sweet tea since it was so close to closing. I would recommend this place over Pizza Hut, dominos, and papa johns, the only negative thing is it's just a little too pricy, the pizza was awesome but just a little to high in price, I would come here again, but maybe just get one medium or one large pizza read more
