I won't be coming back here, and honestly, I should've trusted the reviews, they have two stars for a reason. It was a Saturday night, and the place was packed, so my sister and I already expected things to be a little slow. No big deal. We ordered the Triple Dipper with bone‑in buffalo wings and double eggrolls to share. When the food came out, we noticed we had three cups of regular ranch. Usually, the eggrolls come with avocado ranch, so we waited for our server, Shelby, to come back so we could ask for the right sauce and some small plates. It took a bit, but again, it was busy. When Shelby came back, we asked for avocado ranch, blue cheese, and the small plates. We started eating the wings while we waited, and they were overcooked. Shelby brought everything out, but the avocado ranch was chunky, and I've never seen it look like that anywhere. I added a photo because it was honestly shocking that someone thought that was okay to serve. When she checked on us again, my sister asked if we could get the avocado ranch that actually comes with the eggrolls. Shelby said that was it, they just "didn't mix it well." We asked if the kitchen could make a new one, and she said she'd check. She came back apologizing, saying the chef said no. She offered a different sauce, but at that point we didn't want anything else. Shelby was nice and did what she could, but the issues coming from the kitchen, the overcooked wings and especially the chunky avocado ranch, were a huge letdown. Sat at the bar and was asked about drinks, so I ordered a glass of win, however it took forever to be asked about dinner preference. I ordered dinner which I felt took too long for a pasta dish, and when the food was delivered it was COLD, I told my server and was asked if I wanted it sent back, but we all know what happens when you do that, so I asked for a to go tray so I could heat it when I get home. I normally love this place...This past Sunday August 2,2026 my service was awful....starters came out after meal arrived at table then we had to remind the server about our starter....Drink order was wrong...Then I was overcharged $41.....after I told the waiter my bill was wrong he told me it was correct he just left off the drinks....then after I paid at table he goes and checks the bill then brings me a receipt for $54 the correct price after I just paid a bill at the table on machine that said I owed $93...Then says oh I fixed it, it will be 4 to 7 days and you will receive your refund to your card....Then I asked for a receipt that's says $41 will be or was refunded to my card and waiter says I can't give you a receipt that says that....The gas station can give me a receipt that says money will be refunded to card and any department store but Chili's can not.... My Money better refund..... Then manager and General manager not professional enough to talk to me or return my calls about this issuse....Then manager on duty today says I remember this issue from Sunday my GM fixed it....would have been nice if management would have showed a little customer service and spoke to me at restaurant when issue occured....Would have been nice if waiter could have taken our order correctly.....Cause before we were served our food they brought us someone else's order and was placing it on table in front of us then picked it up and took to other table.... We walked in the restaurant at 5:47 on June 3rd with a party of four. We had two tables come and go before they checked on us one time. An hour in, we still didn't have our food. The manager came out and said the system crashed and she would try to do something for the inconvenience. When our food came it was wrong. They brought out the correct food but charged us for it as well. When we got our food it was cold and soggy. I asked to speak to the manager again and she refused to come out to speak with me. I paid my bill in full, tipped the young man who was greeting people at the front as they walked in because he was the only person who was working diligently and was very professional. We've been twice in the past month, and it was wonderful both times. The servers were amazing. They made sure we were comfortable with our seats, that our drinks were what we wanted, explained the appetizers to us if we had questions. The mushroom burger was so good, the original burger was perfect. The cheese sticks were delicious. It was nice to sit and watch football with my husband and be able to hear the tv. Given its mainstream franchise status, the food and service were both surprisingly decent. As with many places these days, they offer the portable ziosks to pay at the table, without having to try and flag down your server. I find this little detail highly convenient. Also, the fact you can sit down and eat for the same price you'd pay at McDonalds these days, is remarkable. read more

I went there on Saturday March 16th around 2pm. The restaurant was clean. However, it didn't appear to be that busy but it took forever to get my food. I ordered the trio tortillas plate. Went here on a whim. Came to Tupelo from Starkville searching for Busch light apple and found an experience that filled me with home grown warmth and comfort instead. Have been here a half a year later and nothing has changed at this Chili's....dirty sticky tables, nobody that cares about service or how the restaurant is being managed because you see it with dirty tables not being bused, servers sitting around chit chatting than serving or engaging with customers, bad food...really bad food...actually really really bad food and don't call this Tex-Mex, it should be called Tex-Bad. Food is bad, service is worse, we're not coming back here....EVER! Bad quality ingredients from soup to brown salad greens or guacamole. I absolutely LOVE going to chilis!!! We went when I was younger and didn't have the best experience but believe me when I say they have changed FOR THE BETTER!!! It's always amazing service and wonderful customer service no matter when we go!! The food is always delicious and there has never been a problem with our food or the wait time!! We did go on Mothers Day (one of the busiest days of the year) and they were out of a lot (which is my own fault, not theirs) and yet the food was still amazing and piping hot when it was served!! They are getting better after years of being awful. If you haven't been in year or two you can give them another try. The service was above average on our last visit. The food is pretty much what you would expect. It took the kitchen a little longer than I would have liked but it's improved vastly from a year or two ago. Awful service. I never rate businesses and I consider myself pretty easy going and understanding. The experience is one we'll talk about for a long time. The hostess was rude so that should have been a sign to leave. If that's the first encounter then that should tell you everything you need to know about a restaurant. They didn't know how to work as a team. It's one thing to have to ask for something but if you're asking for everything from a where's our drinks you took the order 15 min ago, to refills, to a spoon, to napkins and so on then it makes you feel like a needy costumer all while having to remind the waitress at least two times for this stuff. The waitress was nice enough, kept saying sorry but maybe not trained well? Kept saying sorry in that- it's more of a habit to say sorry voice. I ordered a salad and it never came out. But our party of 3 was to wait 15-20 min and a larger party walked right in and were seated right away. No big deal. I'll just go out for a cigarette while I waited. Hubby worked in food industry (including this particular location)and noted that it was shift change time and said that it was what to expect here. 2 menus for 3 people. Again a Covid thing so no big deal. We share and we decide and we order. Chips and salsa was delish. We got our food in a timely manner. It was fresh and delicious. Mr Blonde was obviously preoccupied but tried to be attentive. He said he was hosting, serving and dishwashing. Guy was running his butt off. We ordered dessert (main reason for coming). I had a free birthday dessert. He finally brought it out but our table was cluttered with all of the other dishes. We asked if he could clear some dishes that we had nicely stacked to the side and he apologized and said he would when he could but he didnt have time at the moment. We stop him again to ask for spoons for our dessert. And then I notice my dessert was on a very dirty plate. Again we stop him and politely ask for a new dessert and we explain why. He says we can have the dessert plated on the dirty plate. Um....no. That's gross. He helps me with the free dessert on the electronic table thing and I review my ticket. It was not rang up correctly at all. I again, have to stop him to correct it. I go to the restroom, which was filthy and was greeted by not one or two but 4 bugs. The food was good and our server worked his butt off. Of course we tipped him. However, with 37262 other restaurants in Tupelo, Chili's is unfortunately off of our list of places to dine.
