We went on trivia night thinking that would be fun, but I'd give the entertainment a 1. That's the reason for the 3 rating. The trivia emcees pushed a political agenda, even going so far as to say you can leave if you don't like it. One of the emcees used the "f" word liberally. Not a good idea. It is hard to figure out the way they balance servers/staff and how they seat. Really good guest management plan with their text program. They did well projecting long (55 minutes) and seating more quickly (15 minutes). We ordered some beers and a couple of lunch pizzas and a burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the honey beer they had on tap and the Mexican lager they brew themselves. The raspberry wheat was very light on flavor but they only had it in cans so there might have been some loss in translation. The pizzas were good, well toasted but not burned in their wood-fires oven. The sauce was a bit of a puzzlement. It really did not hold its own to the crust and cheese on either pizza. The burger was a winner. Cooked medium, it came out perfect with the works. The striation was very pretty. Good lunch meal, inexpensive but the servers and hostesses need some help. This is the first time I've been to Boone since I was in 7th grade. Wow this place has grown. Lost Province Brewing is an excellent choice for brews and food. I go to a lot of breweries and brewpubs and this is a very simple menu with a great beer menu. The staff were super friendly and made us both feel like locals. There were a couple things off the beer menu I wanted but were out of circulation (always a good sign especially when the table next to you says how good it was). I had the LP burger which was filled with a lot of different flavors but a must try. She ordered a margarita pizza which was destroyed by both of us at the table. It was so good and my only regret was not getting the pretzels. The IPAs are delicious and a must get. They cover all taste buds from little hops to a lot. The golden ale is a must try read more

Eh. Wasn't really impressed. We ordered 5 pizzas and I was first shocked at how small they were! I know artisan pizzas tend to be smaller in size but whoa, these were SO small. Great food, fun atmosphere, and delicious beer! We spent a fun weekend in Boone and saw this place on Yelp. We ordered 2 beer flights so we could get a taste of all their beers. My favorite was a watermelon beer. Initially we ordered one Rusticceria pizza, which was very good. However, we were still hungry afterwards and ordered an antipasto board with cheese and salami. If you're really hungry, the 12" pizza may not be enough for two people. The antipasto board was visually creative and so yummy. We enjoyed everything. We sat right at the bar so there was no wait and the bar staff were very friendly and attentive. There was a live band playing so it was very loud, which we didn't mind. My husband, myself, and two friends walked in famished after a long hike. We were told it was going to be a 25 minute wait, but decided to stick it out and have a drink. The bartender was not my favorite because she gave me a gin drink instead of vodka that I ordered, but the good news is our wait was 10 minutes. We ordered the hush puppy appetizer with pimento cheese and that combination was AMAZINGGGGGGGGGG! For an entree we split the lost province pizza and a salad. My parents enjoyed the Boone Moon beer and built their own pizza. My daughters and I enjoyed The Rosti and The Treehugger pizzas!! Couldn't have found a better place to try as tourists. Love that almost everything is local and made in house. Crazy busy for a Monday afternoon but we still got a seat without waiting. The beers were delicious, we had a flight and there wasn't anything we didn't love. I tried the mussels frites, I think my only complaint was that the fries were pretty soggy, but lucky for me he loves soggy fries so he got them all. The charcuterie board was also great, I loved all the additions, but thought it was pretty pricey for the amount of meat given. Cheese was plentiful though. Their sourdough is amazing. I also really liked the open kitchen, and the big wood-fired pizza oven is center stage. Amazing place! Wonderful atmosphere, great brews, food and service! We sat at the counter, Ethan greeted us and explained some of the menu and homemade brews. We ordered a fantastic charcuterie board, featuring some local cheeses, meats and jam. Spectacular. Then shared the "wood fire roasted vegetable" of the day, cauliflower, and a bowl of mushroom, kale and sausage soup. Outstanding as well. I can not stand this restauran. I avoid it like the plague because I've never had a good experience there. First time I went there was a leak in the ceiling and they just had some bucket on the floor to catch the dripping water (which was a great thing to see when you walk in) and I ordered the pizza (it is called pizza and brewing after all) and for the steep price of $16 the moment I picked up a slice of my pizza all of the toppings fell right off and hit my plate leaving me with a soggy sauce piece of bread. I even waited for like 20 minutes afterwards to see if it was just too hot. Nope, just horrible. Second time I went here against my will I got the chicken sandwich because I was going to get a burger but the burger cost $15 which is absurd.The chicken sandwich was decent but was honestly very bland and pretty mediocre. Basically all you need to know about this place is that it was pretty bad food for an outrageous price and is a waste of your money. DO NOT GO HERE. read more
