Typical "tell the customers what they want to hear" business. It's hard to make a bad cup of coffee but the few times I've given this place a chance it's never been good. I guess my standards are a bit higher. Fitting for Lebanon though, standards seem to have gone down the drain for most businesses. Asked if they had fresh roasted coffee, was told yes they get it weekly. Paid $20 for 12oz bag of coffee that could compare to Folgers from Walmart. Not fresh at all, and yes to the owner or employees reading this. You can tell when you brew fresh roasted coffee. If you want fresh coffee I recommend Script or Contemporoast. Can't tell if it's a coffee shop or a knickknack shop. Figure it out. read more

This is a incredible coffee shop in Lebanon. In an old colony style building from the early 1800s. It's gorgeous, wood beams abound, with what looks like the original wood floors, it's a stunning structure. And so the product has to back up it's home and it does. I was able to get a gingerbread latte and chai latte, both hit the spot and and gave us the caffeine jump we needed. They have a typical menu, with all the goods and their coffee is local from the 'Seven Hills' Coffee Roaster, delicious. Beautiful decorated for Christmas and the holidays and a great store inside with kitchen supplies, decor and other cute and quality products plus local food products too. Lot No. 1 is the perfect place to relax and unwind and life that they are open till 6pm. It would be so cool if the fireplaces worked upstairs. It's for sure a great place to work remotely or read a book. Just a little suggestion, I know everyone has a hard day from time to time and we are all going through a lot, but do your best to be kind to your customers. Sorry for the bad day you were having and we know you want to leave right when you close, but do your best to smile a smile can change everything. This is a very cool coffee shop in downtown Lebanon. Great ambiance, relaxing and inviting, with a unique decor. There is indoor and outdoor seating; the indoor seating being upstairs. Typically though, we grab drinks to go and walk around town. They have snacks, some packaged and some made inhouse. I don't believe they serve sandwiches or anything that could constitute a meal. They do serve smoothies. There is also shopping, souvenirs, baking goods, and trinkets, on the first floor. Lot No.1 is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and in need of a coffee pick me up! read more

This is My Kind of coffee shop. I am not the "coffee drinker" that needs coffee to get out of bed or get the day going. I enjoy a cup of warm "something" for comfort. And this place provides that. I had their Lavander White Mocha with a fresh lemon cranberry muffin and they were both excellent. Cute space and the coffee is pretty good. My sister and I popped in before dinner at the Golden Lamb. It's got a store that is clearly pushing a very particular aesthetic but it's nice. Lots of interesting snack and dip options as my sister exhaustively pointed out while we waited in line. I didn't get a fancy coffee and it wasn't the most mind blowing drip coffee I've had but it was nice to have non Starbucks. I'm not going to drive all the way to Lebanon to go, but if I'm out there again anyway, I'd be happy to duck in. The charm of this place is that the building the business is in. It's the oldest building in Lebanon, OH. They do have some really neat items for sale other than coffee. The people that work there are very nice. So since me and my wife are fans of local coffee shops. We gave this place a try. We both ordered a mocha latte. Prices were very reasonable. The flavoring was spot on. Everything was almost perfect about the lattes. Now I've had dark roast espresso in lattes that were really great. For some reason this one was super strong. Not to big of a deal to me. Yet what got me once I was midway through the latte. The taste became super bitter. Would I give this place a try again if I was ever in the area? Yes I would. read more

Coffee was very good! $6.00- I go to a lot of coffee shops in the area and by far the most expensive. Seating is very cute and good for meeting large parties. Seating is only upstairs and so those who can't go upstairs you'll have to get your coffee to go. However, I think they are doing renovations so this could totally change in the future. Love, Love, Love this coffee shop. It's addorable and fits perfectly in with the charm that downtown Lebanon offers. It's part coffee shop and part boutique full of all that stuff you don't need but can't help but buy. I wandered in here around 12 noon on a weekday and was greeted with cheer and genuine hospitality. I was so impressed with the young woman working there! She took my order and asked me about my day. We got to chatting the way you do when you live in a small town, well at least the way you do when you live in small town Lebanon. Besides bacon, a cup of coffee is one of the best ways to start the day. Lot No. 1 was a first stop of many on a day of adventure. Placed in one of the oldest buildings in Lebanon stands a cool coffee shop with great seating and a fun shop with unique finds. The menu here is pretty standard, but there are a plethora of options to customize your drink. You can choose a specialty brewing option, syrup, or even milk substitutions. I ordered a small cappuccino and a cinnamon bun. I wanted to keep it pretty simple and glad I did. The cappuccino was delicious and paired nicely with the gooey cinnamon bun. I chose to sit upstairs in the beautifully decorated seating area. I could sit up there all day. It had a relaxing home-like feel about it. Another thing I liked about it was that there are multiple little areas to sit. There is also seating outside on the deck, complete with umbrellas to keep the sun at bay on bright days. Found this cafe while in route to strawberry picking in the area and what a great choice of stopping in. We easily found free parking directly across the street in the Mechanic street parking lot. As I entered the doorway I knew I was in for unique cup of joe. The coffee beans are from Seven Hills coffee roasters in the metropolitan area. The menu is straight forward with options of brewed coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, express shots and cold brew. They do allow you to customize flavors and milk substitutes if you desire. In seeing this I ordered a cup of cold brew with butterscotch flavoring. Delicious! We did take a few to shop some of the home products of typical mugs, decor, candles that you can find elsewhere. Most inside seating will be found on the second floor. The seating is clean, and entire vibe is rustic. Think if "The Pioneer Woman" had a coffee franchise, this would be the vision. This isn't exactly close to home/work to become a regular but if in the area, stop for a cup even it's Togo. There new stores on the area. Visited from out of state for the day and was looking for a place to study during the day while my husband was busy. I would not recommend this shop for those purposes. The music is loud in the upstairs study area. You need a key to use the small bathroom, which is kept locked at all times. The key is kept behind the counter at the barista station. This factor felt very uncomfortable for a coffee shop, when coffee is a diuretic & you would need to frequently ask for the key. Decor was cute but overall the bathroom key issue made it hard to feel comfortable and difficult to feel welcome, along with the loud peppy music playing upstairs making it difficult to focus. Not trying to bash on the shop, just sharing why I wouldn't recommend it as a study spot to someone from out of town who is in a situation like myself. read more

I still do love this spacious coffee shop. There are actually only a couple of steps to enter at the front door and the deck is right there on the lower level. So, for those who can't handle an entire flight of stairs to the second floor, the deck is actually very easy to get to. Their latte is really delicious! The staff is always full of smiles. The old wood in this place adds to the quiet acoustics, and there is no "old building smell". Chill coffee shop music. The only draw back is their limited food menu. The muffins are sweet and moist, for sure. I just wish they had some low-fat/high fiber or high protein selections. Locally owned and coffee is roasted locally too. There are good and bad aspects of this nice little coffee shop in downtown Lebanon. The biggest issue off the bat is the hours - I'm not sure how they compete opening so late (Possibly just a Good location?) We find ourselves falling back to Starbucks in the early hours, or headed down the street to Kidd Coffee in mason often for a better taste. The coffee here isn't bad, but it's just not the greatest and the prices are high. The shop has a very nice upstairs lounge area for guest. read more
