Happened upon this adorable cafe when in Lebanon visiting family. Great creative drinks and snacks. Met the owners parents who were delightful. Will return when we're in town again.

This is by far my favorite new spot in "Cincy". My husband and I stopped for lunch on our way to Columbus. I found Greenhouse Cafe & Bar on Yelp. As soon as I checked out the menu and saw a few pics, I was sold. I was excited just walking up to the building as the exterior is charming. There is an adorable patio that was closed for the season. We were greeted by warm "hellos" when we entered. The menu is the perfect size to give you options, but not overwhelm. We ordered at the counter and went to find a seat. While waiting for our food, I admired the interior decor-- tons of plants. There was also a lot of Grinch stuff (my fav) as it was Christmas week. The food arrived and we dug in. Everything we got was delicious. I ordered the smoke turkey sandwich and my husband got the special: a roast beef sandwich. I ate both of our deli pickles. The only thing that wasn't great was the iced coffee. My husband really didn't enjoy it. I was so tempted to try one of their awesome sounding tea lattes, but decided to try to save a buck. Now I am regretting my decision and can't wait to go back to get one.

This is exactly the kind of place I've been searching for in Greater Cincinnati! Healthy. Fresh, with lots of vegetables. Reasonably priced. Every item on the menu can be made vegetarian, vegan or gluten free upon request (if they're not already). Updating my review now that I've been back: During my first trip, I ordered the Loaded Potato Bowl, and that was a winner. It was plenty of food, so I actually saved the second half for later. I've also tried the Buffalo Tempeh Salad, which I also liked. If there was a way to chop and mix it all together, though, that would have been even better. It's small, but there a few spaces to dine inside, as well as a small outdoor seating area. I've had no problem finding a place to sit and eat. I'll definitely be back again!

Very cute cafe in beautiful downtown Lebanon OHIO. Menu provides both vegan & non vegan options. Casual atmosphere & food was thoughtfully prepared. Small seating area outside & tables inside. Tried the chicken salad that was delicious & my friend loved the potato bowl. Check it out!

Amazing amazing amazing!!! I cannot rave enough about the Greenhouse Cafe. The restaurant offers healthy lunch options with locally sourced ingredients and operates eco friendly to reduce waste. Yummy sandwiches and salads are as tasty as everything else on the menu. We have been there many times and it is our 'to go cafe' in Lebanon. I absolutely love that vegetarians and vegans find a wide selection as well on the menu!!!

This is such a cute little cafe in "small town USA." I really felt like I was in some holiday hallmark movie sitting outside on their patio taking in the perfect fall weather. ; D The patio area is really cute. And I like how they added a "bar" seating area along the railing as additional seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The service was friendly and helpful in guiding me through menu items. I ordered the Chicken Apple Brie which I had on GF bread and their vegan cheese. I say, as long as the vegan cheese is melted...it's really not that bad! Overall the flavor was yummo. I also had their Floral Fog which tasted very watered down. However, I did ask him for it hot and to put an ice cube to cool it down faster, so it might have been the ice cube that made it taste watery. Note to self for next time. Definitely will go back to try more of their menu. All the items sound delightful!

Perfect spot for lunch while in Lebanon! The cafe is small & charming with indoor & outdoor seating. All ingredients are locally sourced, farm to table. The food is delicious and offers vegetarian / vegan options on most items! I ordered the Avocado Sprout w/ Chicken & Pimento Cheese Pasta Salad on the side. Filling & flavorful. Would absolutely stop in again!

    Cutest place in town!

Really glad we found this spot while driving through town. I would honestly try the whole menu if I lived local. Fresh drinks and local foods always taste WAY better than conventional. Not only is there a great food and drink selection, the store itself is very inviting with fun decor and plants all over the place. Plus the staff is also knowledgeable and friendly. The guy with the french accent was particularly courteous and respectful. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone!

    Cute bar setup!

Visiting family and decided to pop into town to take a look around. This sweet little town was busy with people visiting the farmers market, gathering at restaurants, and shopping. I decided to try out Greenhouse because I needed a pick me up, but was craving something healthy. I splurged and got the Lemon mint kombucha. I love kombucha and this flavor mash-up was light and flavorful. I ordered the Avocado toast and Buffalo tempeh bowl to take back to the house and share with my hubs. It was plentiful for both of us. I preferred the avocado toast--it was more tasty. Buffalo tempeh bowl was good and filling but was lacking in seasoning maybe? I still really enjoyed it and would go back in a heartbeat. Restaurant was adorable and I could see myself meeting friends there often, if we lived here. Glad I could at least experience it on the visit!

Yikes! Bakery items were dry, possibly past their sell-by date. Lunch was overpriced. Won't eat here again.

NOT a "d i v e bar" by any stretch of the imagination…read more This is a charming tavern with old school ambiance, sturdy wooden bar, tables, and chairs (not stools). The bar room has two little "snuggery" areas in the windows up front and we sat in one today when we came for brunch. Fifteen beers on tap. Great classic rock feed. Two additional dining rooms and a big outdoor seating area that actually looks comfortable. The regular menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps and mains looked really good, but it was 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, right after church, and Doc's serves up breakfast all day Sunday! Including a $7 Bloody with salt rim, lime wedge and three olives - as spicy as you want it. Loved. My husband had the breakfast bowl and was amazed at the quantity and quality of the food. The sliced fresh mushrooms were especially notable. For me, Chicken and Waffles is the very essence of Sunday Brunch, and I was quite pleased. Also a hearty serving, two big chicken cutlets and two thick waffles dusted with powdered sugar. I took half home and finished it for supper. Ask for the Sriracha Syrup on the side, and if you're not a Sriracha fan they will give you regular syrup on request. I got both! When we arrived there was just one other couple at the bar who had already ordered food, but over the next 30 minutes at least ten people in various groupings came in and some went to the dining room. There was just one gal, the bartendress, to wait on everyone and she did a great job keeping up with it all, even checking on us. I'm sorry I did not get her name, but it was Sunday March 8th and she deserves big shoutout. I recommend Doc's and plan to return. Get in here.

We tried a variety of items, starting with the spinach and artichoke dip, then shared a wedge salad. For entrees we had the lasagna and chicken parmesan. Everything was so incredibly fresh, delicious, and perfectly constructed! What was even more special was our incredibly sweet and thoughtful waitress, Randa. She took special care with explaining the menu, the restaurant, and the village to give us an idea of our new community... checking on us throughout the dining experience to make sure we were satisfied. The only words I found that I was repeating were, "A Complete Home Run!" Love, love, love this place and have already booked a reservation for Valentines Day. Ambience and wine list are spectacular also! If you want to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, friendly, and welcoming place, this should be your "go-to"spot!

But that was then and this is now, and the current hands-on owners give us a truly Italo-centric experience! It feels very European in here. All brick walls and an archway between the bar room and the dining room. Big wine rack in the dining room. The bar is also quite attractive and looks comfortable. I don't recall hearing any music but we were there at lunchtime on Sunday. Fire grilled artichokes grabbed me so we got this for an app. I admit I didn't read the description completely. The dish had seven little artichoke quarters drowning in Alfredo sauce. The artichoke was sweet and tender but all that sauce really overwhelmed it and this app is overpriced for the quantity. Later I realized we could have had them served with EVOO and parmesan which I would have much preferred. It was disappointing that the waitress didn't ask which preparation we wanted, and that the kitchen apparently did not ask her, either. Our two pasta dishes were delectable and the amount of protein was quite generous. We both loved our sauces, and the spicy Italian sausage (house made!) was out of this world. They sliced it nice and thin and there was so much, I was really in Heaven. The fettuccine and the capellini were done to perfect al dente. Our waitress did a great job and checked on us often. She was handling several tables and was constantly on the move but kept up well with all her guests. I was thrilled to see Limoncello cake on the dessert menu but a bit shocked at the high price. Of course it is possible you get a huge slice and I will definitely research this further next time! I plan on coming back, and soon.
