I came to Straight shot coffee with my BFF for no reason other than to try a new coffee shop. We drove up around 10am on a Saturday. My BFF got an iced coffee with vanilla and I got a strawberry fields latte. She said the iced coffee was very good and I know this because she took it with us and finished it. I really liked my drink as well, very much strawberry flavored. We also got a cinnamon muffin that was very good. This is a small cafe in a strip mall. Drive thru could only have maybe 3 or 4 cars. Parking is limited as well, but seriously you need to come and try this place. Great staff, very good coffee and cozy environment. Wait. Never mind, please don't come here and try this place. I want the couch in front of the fireplace all to myself. I can't wait to come back and get a new drink, sit on the couch, relax and just enjoy. read more

Randomly found this place searching for coffee on my way to work. It seems to be a locally owned place which is what I prefer. They even have a drive thru! The service was really friendly. They have alternative milks including oat and soy and I believe another. I got a hot 20 oz soy latte with no flavoring added. The soy tastes a little different than what I'm used to so I'm not sure the brand. It's pretty sweet on its own though. Overall it was a good experience and i'll probably stop back by again. read more

First, the good: the place is absolutely adorable. It is super cozy and I love the bright interior. Plenty of places to sit, including tables and chairs and a cozy couch area by the fire place. We were greeted very warmly with friendly and smiling faces. We ordered from the seasonal menu. Unfortunately my husband burnt his mouth, because his drink was way too hot. Not just hot, but absolutely scalding . I ordered the pumpkin spice latte and it was fine. I wish they would serve coffee in ceramic mugs, as I feel it really adds to the experience. I have been a customer of theirs for at least six years. I always go through the drive-thru. I find their service fast and efficient. I normally order the same thing: caramel latte. And it's always delivered with a smile and a kind word. Good coffee. My only disappointment is that they close at 2pm. I often feel the urge to finish my evening meal with a good coffee, but I can't go there. Nonetheless, they have always served me an excellent latte with quick, friendly service. I sat here for about 3 hours on my laptop just hanging out with my s'mores hot drink. Friendly people here! It seems like the guy taking orders knew everyone that came in to see him. I like that this little mom & pop cafe had several books for you to read, on two shelves placed on both sides of a large TV. There are some comfortable looking couches in the middle of the cafe as well with more books spread across a coffee table. When it was slow or there weren't any customers, the guy at the register (I wish I got his name!) sat at a single table with his laptop. Seasonal drink selection changes frequently. Frappes don't come with espresso so kid friendly. Bathrooms very clean. The meeting room is very helpful. Always considerate of diverse opinions, which you can't say about every coffee shop in the region. Be aware that you compete with the Armed Forces Recruitment office for parking sometimes. You can hold a business meeting because the tables are large enough to spread out and the wifi is reliable. Original art décor. Nothing "cookie cutter" here. For special orders, the baker on contract can make anything according to your dietary restrictions, we've done it! What can I say coffee is great! But this place is above the rim for sure. The interior is very inviting and comfy. They offer a conference room for small meetings . They do have muffins and limited food items but the choices are all excellent and fairly priced. The coffee is fantastic, whether it's a specialty or just a black coffee with a shot of expresso. This locally owned and operated coffee house is a great place for drinks. I personally meet people here to sign contracts and such if meeting at my office isn't an option for some reason. The staff is always friendly and fast. Haven't had any of their food items, but every drink I've had has been excellent. When I go there with my kids they are happy to make an off-menu (caffeine free!) drink for them. Only thing that would make it better would be more food choices to actually enjoy a lunch there. read more
