I had to leave my card for a tab but I told the var tender I was going to pay cash at the end of the night. He assured me that it was fine... MY FRIEND WAS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! On 7/6/19 my friend's and I were profiled upon entry. My friend was denied entry into Lot45 because he was wearing athletic shorts. We were told that was not the "image" they were trying to portray at their establishment. We had no problems with them having a dress code, my friend even went home to change, but as we were waiting on him to come back we saw there was a white gentleman with the exact same shorts on. As we were trying to explain to the bouncer that his choice of words was offensive and asked why it was ok for the white man to wear athletic shorts but not my friend who is a black man. He grew angry and even boasted about how they can refuse entry to whoever they want. As we walked out my friend was recording our interaction and the white bouncer knocked her phone out of her hand. cracked her screen and laughed about it. The other bouncers, who were all black men, stood around and did nothing. We posted the incident on our social media and commented on their Instagram page, instead of apologizing they deleted our comments and blocked us. Lot45 is a racist establishment who employs bigots. As a three year resident of Bushwick, I'm disgusted that this place is in my neighborhood. Supporting Lot45 means you support racist and do not support black men and women. Disappointing new year's party Bartender not giving you back the credit card (had to go to ask another one for getting it). Not only waited an hour and a half for getting my jacket back but they also forgot my hat and scarf in it. This establishment lacked either organization or got overwhelmed by their success. I've been here on 2 occasions (both were a Friday night) and this place is so much fun! The vibes are awesome and on both nights, the crowd was super lit! The cover was $10 after midnight for both men and woman. The drinks are reasonable, $10 for shots and $12 for mixed drinks. The bartenders were all attentive and moved at a quick pace so you weren't waiting long for drinks. This is definitely a good weekend kickoff spot. read more

Only go to Lot45 if you plan on being disrespected and dehumanized by the bouncers before you even get in. The bouncers inappropriately touch women, grabbing and pushing you for absolutely no reason. I've been verbally harassed by bouncers and stalked by them once inside the club throughout the whole night. They go on a power trip, being super disrespectful, rude, and inappropriate literally every time I'm there for NO REASON. Even if you have a good time inside, plan on being treated like dirt at the door before you get in. The bouncers there completely take advantage of their position. They either need to be let go or face some consequences for their actions. It's unacceptable. I will not be returning. read more

Nothing but pure trash! Don't patron this place. They blatantly discriminates against black people. After refusing entry for a guy friend, who was dressed "inappropriately", the bouncers allowed a group of white men dressed almost identically in. When confronted on why, the White bouncer spat racial insults & slapped another friend's phone out of her hand (cracking her screen) while she recorded the entire attack. Bouncers of other races looked on quietly, never once intervening. We left peacefully. When questioned about this blatant racial attack on social media, Lot 45 chose to block instead of starting a dialogue and apologizing. This place was cute and cozy. When it isn't busy it is great to go with a small group of friends for happy hour or just for some wine with your partner. I had the cheese platter and some red wine after a tough day and it was completely relaxing. A friend inside texted me that it wasn't even crowded so it made no sense to have us out on line so long. The bouncers outright ignore you when you ask questions. There were large groups of people who started to leave because the wait was ridiculous. We would have left too if my friend wasn't already inside. Once we got inside, I brought a super super super watered down drink in a plastic cup that tasted like nothing for $12. Don't buy drinks! It sucks. Once we started dancing we had a good time. Aight, so boom. I've been to Lot 45 a few times for their Cherry Pie R&B party and enjoyed myself with my friends. With the venue just steps from the Jefferson stop on the L and on the same block as Artichoke Pizza, it had potential to be a new go-to spot for my friends and I until our last visit. We went out for another Cherry Pie night, and the DJs didn't disappoint. You know who did though, security. I got there around 1145pm and was expecting a line -- what I wasn't expecting was a wait longer than 30 minutes. Cherry Pie itself is free until 12am and $10 afterwards, and to a degree I can kinda understand the allure of looking like you run a popular spot and having patrons wait until after midnight so they have to pay, but having your patrons wait in the rain is something else. I saw the line grow longer, and even watched people walk off the line to go elsewhere. My group was already in and waiting for me, but I guarantee I'd have taken my ass home if I showed up alone. Finally getting inside, I realize I didn't have cash on hand and was advised to go to their ATM -- that was out of service. Their suggestion? Try another ATM down the block. Now you really want me to take my ass home. Hopefully security gets it together the next time around, because the crowd and music are equally great. read more

Oh lot45, I wouldn't want anyone else to have the honor of being my 100th review. After coming twice in the past month, this place is my new favorite bar. Its huge, warehouse style with a massive outdoor area. They closed the outdoors off with covering, so you're still able to chill out there in the dead of winter. There's an area towards the front of the bar with couches that's nice to lounge in when you want a break from the dance floor. The drinks are cheap, the crowd is always great, and the DJ never disappoints. read more

And the Burger was overcooked with a bun that had the consistency of an old leather shoe. The oysters, when they finally arrived, had been cleaned poorly with shell bits abundant in the meat. A few friends and I went here for brunch and I will never come here again, which is sad because the space is beautiful and in a great location. Our waiter wrote down all of food, repeated the order back to us to make sure he had all of our meals, and forgot an entire entree anyway. Wouldn't you notice that a person was missing a meal when you sat all other meals down on the table? We had to tell them we were missing an entire meal and they all looked confused. The mac-n-cheese was basically just really oily noodles with a kraft cheese slice microwaved on top. My friend's salad was salty. SALTY. How is that even possible? Way too expensive for such underwhelming food. Also, they ring up the food and drinks on separate checks, which I normally wouldn't be bothered by but because our whole experience was awful, that just annoyed me further. WIth so many other great food spots in the area, it's not worth ever wasting money here. Two stars because they took my friends entree they forgot off the check and because the space was cool. My friends have come here for drinks and liked them, but the only time i tried to go there at night they were charging a $10 cover. We live in Bushwick... why are you charging covers. I went here for the Cherry Pie R&B Party and I had a lit time. The line to get in actually moved at a good pace. I suggest getting there a little early. Once I was in, I bought wings and fries & they were way better than expected. The party was a bit crowded and the line for coat check was long but I avoided coat check. I've never written a yelp review for a restaurant but I had to after the experience I had at Lot45 last Sunday. We were strolling around the neighborhood looking for a brunch spot we stumbled upon this place with really cool scenery and asked if they had bottomless brunch. The hostess said yes. I'm sure you already know where this is going. It took almost 15 minutes before we were greeted by the waitress, the only one working in the whole establishment. We asked her what the deal with bottomless was once we couldn't find it on the menu and she had to deliver the bad news that they didn't have that option. So...the hostess boldfaced lied to us. But at this point we're starving so we decide to split a pitcher of watermelon mimosas. They came out with a load of filmy residue at the top and we had to mix them together in our cups to get a normal consistency...seriously really gross. They were also warm :(((((((((( Then it comes time to order food. My boyfriend and I decide to get the avocado toast ($6) and he asks for two orders (because it seems small). The waitress gives him kind of a puzzled look and reassures him that it's two pieces and he won't need a second. He and I both order it having our fears assuaged. What we received were two dinner rolls with guac smeared on top after a ridiculous wait. I'm a small person and I was still hungry when we left. Never coming here (for brunch) again. I do have to say the DJ was on point - playing smooth Sunday afternoon old school hip-hop vibes and the scenery was beautiful. I don't want to judge this place entirely because it seems like it could be a great night spot! Showed up for a concert, the line was very far down the block because they made it "free before 11" the line began moving just before 11 by 1130 bouncers began to comb the line for ladies to enter the club and groups were no longer entering the club. So basically we paid to come to a club just to stand out in the cold and rain for a hour just to watch a couple hundred people get in while another ~500 sat outside in the rain. Pretty dumb. Why attract all those people knowing you have nowhere near the compacity to fit them. Its just annoying because not only did I sit around wet and cold all friday night but we even went out to eat before and if I knew it was going to be this pointless I would of just saved my money and ate and stayed at home. Never coming back or recommending this "venue" stick to being a restaurant smh read more

Interesting venue, love the open concepts in both rooms. Very funky furniture and vibe but that's how it stands out. Drinks are delicious and bar staff very friendly. My partner and I came to a kinky mixer here and felt very relaxed, not a night club per se but an upscale lounge. This review is PURELY about the food and drink situation. It's a beautiful space and I've only had positive interactions with staff, but man it's like the management can't get their stuff together to make this place on point. They've managed to stay open for many years and it's in an amazing location, but still wouldn't recommend it for more than a quick drink. Came in on Sunday, day of House of Yes block party and weekend of Bushwick art collective. They were once again understaffed at the bar- one lovely awesome chick having to basically deal with all the drinks and food orders- so ordering a drink became a total hassle. They don't do pints of beers- so when you order a draft, its maybe 12oz for $7 - total rip off. I waited maybe 45 minutes for 2 fish tacos and mac n cheese. That's because there was one person manning the kitchen for many many orders. When th fish tacos came out- they were comically terrible looking and tasteless. TINY piece of breaded fish with 2 pieces of cabbage. Even mac n cheese was meh. I also saw a leftover drink receipt on the bar - next to each of the drinks there was an asterisk and included an explanation that asterik meant that the price included tax ..but then the bar charged tax ultimately on the two drinks..which just felt shady. read more

Huge open room with a couple couches aligning the side walls, a bar on the opposite side, and a stage against the back wall over looking the whole venue. I came here last Saturday night for a party, and it was A-OK! The space itself is great, with ample room for dancing and a decent sound system. However, even though the bar looks nice, they have a very basic beer selection and their mixed drinks, priced at $12 a pop, are served with low-shelf liquor. Furthermore, at times I was unable to flag down a bartender. While this may be par for the course at this sort of venue, it nonetheless isn't a pleasant experience. read more
