We are from Hawaii and are roadtripping across the country. We were looking for some food on our route and found this gem of a pizza place. The restaurant is clean (including the bathrooms) and very family friendly with games to play while you are waiting. This is not fast food however it is definitely worth the wait. You might want to call ahead if you're in a hurry. We waited about 30 minutes for our order (large combo pizza and breadsticks). The staff is very friendly and helpful. We found out that this is a family owned and run restaurant. The breadsticks were amazing--the best we've ever had and the pizza reminded me of the old school Pizza Hut--not the greasy mess that it is today. The toppings on the pizza were very generous as well. There is a salad bar but we didn't try it. They offer calzones as well that look huge--if we ever come back this way, will definitely try! Salad bar has an abundance of veggies, potato & macaroni salad, cottage cheese, ham, pepperoni & cheese as an example, all fresh. Service is done by the customer after ordering. A variety of good pizza's are available by the slice under a do-it-yourself heating table. Naturally, a fresh pizza is better than one that sits for a bit of time. Would we stop again? Really friendly staff, hearty and very tasty pizza! We ordered bbq chicken pizza and added mushrooms and pineapple. It was ready in 20 minutes and exceeded our expectations! It was large and very generous with topping portions. The fresh chicken chunks were tender and flavorful, the bbq sauce had a nice tanginess, the mushrooms were fresh and lightly cooked, the crust was thin and had a good crispy edge. The pineapple chunks were a fun added topping, the sweet and tangy flavor actually was a treat and complemented the other flavors. I'd visit again as we are in town next time. Amazing local pizza place in Salina, UT. They originally told us it would be a 25 min wait but we ended up getting our food fresh out of the oven within 15 min! This is one of the cheapest places I've been able to find, so it's a great bang for your buck. The ambiance was vintage, and laid back with games to play while you wait with friends or family. Spent a few nights here on a road trip and heard about the pizza, so decided to stop for the lunch buffet. Very reasonable prices. I was pleasantly surprised how fresh the salad bar was. The pizzas were always hot. It was a great way to try out different flavors (the hawaiian was amazing). We stopped by Lotsa Motsa Pizza for dinner on the way home from skiing in Colorado. The pizzas were all pretty ordinary/a solid OK. It also took them twice as long as the estimated time to prepare our food, although the pizza worker we interacted with was quite nice. In normal times, I'd probably give it three stars. However, the non-existent COVID precautions made us very uneasy about the meal. No one had masks on, and there was no extra sanitization, distancing, nor any other visible precautions in place. We called in our order before we got there, but we would not have ordered from here if we knew about this beforehand. Overall, this place did its job of feeding some hungry travelers, but would be wary of coming here now if COVID safety is something you're concerned about. read more

We stopped here today since we hadn't eaten lunch yet and it was around 2:00 pm and we are on a road trip. We had also previously eaten at the location in Richfield and it was good. However, upon entering this location, we should have turned around and left. Everything on the pizza buffet was old and cold. We had a salad bar and it was okay. The issue with this place is the cleanliness. The floor around the salad bar was filthy, and I noticed when ordering the kitchen looked much the same. The older man who rang us up had flour all over his hands so he apparently doesn't use plastic gloves or wash his hands often. The thought of him handling filthy money and then going back to making pizzas and handling ice and mozzarella cheese/kitchen duties was a little off-putting. I asked the older lady working if they would be putting out any more pizza or items on the bar, and she said no. I also asked if she would be able to make a fresh pizza for me and after some resistance, she agreed. It is certainly not worth the $8.99 plus tax they charged me. The entire meal was very underwhelming and all afternoon, I've felt ill. I would not go back to this restaurant, especially within an hour of the buffet ending, unless they do make some major changes and deep cleaning. Dine at your own risk! read more

A shout out to these folks. Good food and a welcoming vibe during our recent visit. We stopped overnight here between Carson City and Denver. The Yelpers are spot on that this is a good spot to grab some good pizza and a salad which was a nice change from the vast amount of fried food that is typically found along the remote highways of the West. Same comment as others, felt like I was getting our order handled by the entire family who were right on top of every request we had. And to top it off they offered to give us a ride back to the motel when they noticed we were walking. ( it was on purpose, we needed a stretch and some exercise after a full day in the car.... ) They did note that they are in the process of moving to a location closer to the I-70/US50 intersection, so for those staying in the hotels it will be a lot easier to grab a bite. read more

On our way back to Las Vegas from Arches National Park, we stopped by Salinas, UT. We found a local pizza place to eat rather than eating at Denny's next to the freeway. This spot is considered a gem for any traveler stopping for gas and lunch. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza for $15.99 that included breadsticks and 2-liter soda. All of their food were freshly made and the proportion was large enough to feed four people. Most importantly, the quality of the food was delicious. The breadstick was soft and seasoned with herb. The owner was kind and generous as he gave us four cinnamon sticks for dessert for free. This pizza place is a definitely must try, if you are looking for a quick seat-in meal and pizza. read more

Here we are two truckers broken down across the street from this place at the Freightliner dealership. I'm thinking, "Oh, great...pizza AGAIN!" But these people know how to make a wonderful cauliflower crust pie--one of the most memorable pies I've had in ions!
