We wandered in, having decided that cooking wasn't in our plan. And it was soooo good. I had a cosmo, Wayne had a margarita (as he says, what else do you drink at an authentic Mexican restaurant). We went for the burrito - which was one of the best I've had. Not too heavy, meat was perfect, and, best thing? It was a two-meal burrito! Heated up amazingly the next day. Wayne got the enchiladas - the picture shows how delish it looked - spoiler alert - it tasted AS GOOD! It was a wonderful evening and so glad that we were able to sit at the bar, watch the cook/owner and be served by the bartender/server/owner!

The ceaser side salad was super fresh and I can't say enough about the roasted veggies. They are almost a meal by themselves. We ordered take out this past Sunday and I ordered the taco salad and a side of the veggies. I added them to the salad and it was spectacular!! They are perfectly cooked and garlicky. They went so good right on my salad...which was huge and packaged in a very nice resealable plastic bowl. Crispy and fresh! The food was packaged very well and it was still hot when we got home 20 min away. There are not very many resteraunts available these days that are like this but still completely affordable for local folks.

Sweet potatoes topped with salsa or peppers and onions topped with salsa. They're underwhelming, BUT I do appreciate that they clearly have labeled that their rice is vegetarian (so many aren't). Recently I just wanted some chips and guac, and realized as I opened the bag: neither are homemade. And, I get it, it's a small food truck turning over lots of orders quickly. The chips are for sure store bought, and the guacamole's consistency (quite pureed) and flavor (none) just reminded me of those little plastic cups you peel back the covering on from like Sabra or Wholly. I think, if you don't have any dietary restrictions, you'll probably love this spot! Expect a wait.

They're fun and yummy. I've never had a bad taco there, actually. At prime time, getting a seat there can be daunting, and parking can be hell, but not worse than on the peninsula. The drinks are all good, and the service is always friendly. Super cute interior, and getting an outside table on a nice day is a treat.

For those that do not like cilantro - it's only in two things..one of the rice options and the pico...other than that you are safe. For those that love cilantro, you can ask for extra. I had the supreme nachos with pork and nacho cheese, jalapenos, black beans and lettuce....SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!! and very very filling. They have some space indoors to dine but us like many others order then take it home to eat. They follow a similar model as places like Chipotle and Subway where you order and watch your food be made and can choose the toppings/fill ins. You can enjoy so many great options of burritos, tacos, bowls/salads, fries, quesadillas plus some other things. I have always enjoyed their burritos, maybe I need to expand to other things next time. My wife enjoys their bacon breakfast burrito and I enjoy their chorizo breakfast burrito. Pizza is all about the crust, and I prefer a thick, chewy crust although I eat other types often. This crust was more like Greek style, but thinner. I would not go back for the pizza, which for a pizza place, is not ideal. I have had the wings in the past, which were good. The server was friendly. There is a bar area which was quite full of what appeared to be regulars.

That said, the last two times we've gone our table service has been disappointing. We had two different servers, and both experiences felt pretty cold and unfriendly. The interactions were brief and came across as rude, which was surprising because we've had such positive experiences here in the past. It's honestly a bummer because we really do love this place and will absolutely keep coming back.
