There is no price list for each hair service they provide. They should have given the price list upfront. Owner was giving attitude as if he has done favor to me by allowing me to enter in salon at 5:30. I have extremely thin hair(even thinner than a toy doll). I went there to trim the ends. see the quantity of hair cut - photo attached. They charged me $85 and also owner was showing me attitude saying I should thank you him for not charging for blowing the hair!! If you really want simple trim or cut and not having much hair, then dont go there & don't get ripped off. read more

Abdu was professional and super helpful. I waited about 5? Minutes and he was super apologetic for a totally normal wait. Shop had a decent line even at 730 so make sure to make an appointment. They responded quickly to me! My hair cut was great! Really well done and Abdul was cracking jokes making it an enjoyable experience. He used a single blade razor for the close cuts and lines making it extra tight and professional. At the price this place is a steal! (Don't raise your prices please!) I have curly hair and for him it wasn't a problem. If you have hair that other stylists have problems with, I totally recommend checking this out. I used to go to Cosmo's Barber Shop in Pleasanton with a coupon for an $8 haircut from any hairstylist who was available at the time. That was before I started seriously caring about my presentation and style 4 months ago... since then I did my research on nearby hairstylists and decided to give Abdo a try. After having Abdo cut my hair, although I'm paying $20, I feel like a million bucks! Abdo also has ideas for your hairstyle, but if you're not comfortable in trying something new, stand your ground. I've pretty much had the same hairstyle for the last 25 years so I wanted to try something slightly different, but not drastically. Abdo knows his stuff and does a good job. Attitude!! I've been here many times and had some problems getting appointments many times. The owner should know that he speaks with an accent. When you call, sometimes its difficult to understand him over phone and he gets worked up if we ask him to repeat and his overall attitude on top that is terrible. Recently I called to ask for quick appointment, he asked "what time" - it was 9:50am when I called, so I said at 10 to see if he was free(I was in the area and could make it there in 5 mins) but this guy started going off on me because it was already 10(in his books) and that I will not make it on time! So I hung up when he was talking because he was rude. He calls me again and says I was rude to hang up ! Seriously?? You should first talk to customers with courtesy. I've used his service in the past he has always done something like this. Never again! But if you are immune to his antics and does not mind being treated with disrepect...go here, he actually gives you a good haircut! read more

Worst customer service. Very unprofessional. One person does the cutting, one person does the blow drying. The person who does the blow drying makes sure you get a severe headache when you step out of the salon. She pulls the hair so bad. Thank got my roots were strong. I got my hair done this week by Mod Mallak. He is an incredible hairdresser ! Very professional, talented and gentle on hair. I was nervous at first since I have very curly hair and not all hairdresser know how to cut and blow dry my hair. Well with Mod from the first couple of minutes I could tell that he understands my hair. He put me at ease and I felt totally relax through the entire process. I had really good haircuts from here before. Although he charges a little extra, I don't mind. What changed my opinion? Today when someone calls asking for an appointment and he says it's not busy at all. Meanwhile, I was waiting in line. He takes around 30 minutes with the person before me, the time of the appointment comes around and the person who called shows up. He proceeds to tell me that because I didn't make an appointment, and the other person did, that I have to now wait another 30 minutes for the caller. What upset me was that he told me "This is what happens when it's a busy day" even though he just told the caller it's not busy at all. I should have called before, yes, but it's still unethical in my opinion to now make me wait an hour for a haircut just because I didn't call prior (all because I was just waiting in line). It's his business in the end, and he can deny haircuts to whoever he wants. He does give really good haircuts. I am sure if you call prior he will treat you better. Just giving a warning though, he does play favorites. read more
