Angel is one of the best barbers I've had in my life and his barbershop is growing and improving everyday. He makes sure to give the best quality and service when giving a haircut as well as the atmosphere of the place. Went when it first opened 2023 and glad see now it's expanded proving its improving and hes looking for ways to improve his shop. Despite the pricing, you get your money's worth out of the haircut angel gives and he takes his time when giving a haircut. First and only time customer. I was in the chair for maybe 10 minutes just to get my hair cleaned up as I plan to grow it out. They charged me $55 for this service. I guess it is my bad for not asking what the prices were before I sat down. I did not see prices posted and the person that cut my hair did not provide any information about pricing. I came to this barber shop for the first time on a short notice, but thankfully they were able to fit me into their schedule after only a bit of waiting. At the time, I didn't really know what exactly I wanted to do with my hair coming into Luxe barber studio, and I was hoping to talk to one of the barbers about recommendations and different options on what I could do with my hair. I ended up snagging a last-minute appointment with Khalid, who was really friendly and gave me his opinions on my hair and ways I could get it done. Once I decided on what I wanted, he cut my hair, which turned out really well. Aside from just their expertise, I have to point out the customer service that Luxe offers. I had a nice conversation with the Khalid, and I could tell that many of the other customers seemed to be having nice chats with their respective barbers as well. Also, they offer free drinks! Overall, I would highly recommend Luxe barber studio to anyone looking to get a nice haircut. One star seems like I'm giving too much credit. I made an appointment with Josh and he failed to show up. I drove from San Francisco! Texted the barber to see why he flaked and he said I cancelled the appointment when I did no such thing. Gaslighting the customer is new to me. I called the owner and he lectured me on how to make an appointment. As opposed to making things right he asked me "What do you want?" as if I had ulterior motives. I'm not here for handouts. We easily made an appointment online with Roman, added in the notes section of the booking what type of hairstyle he wanted. Edwin is not professional. I had an appointment for 9 and he contacted me 20 minutes before to say he would be late and that he could not make it. I had a job interview at 12 and because of him I had to cancel. He did not want to cancel or inform the other client at 10 that he would be late. I do not recommend him. Much needed barbershop in Dublin. Gone are the days of going to San Ramon, Livermore, or Tracy for a cut. Angel gave me a clean mid-fade and drop fade. I also needed to shorten the top part of my hair for a comb over and Angel knew what to do. You can tell he takes pride in his art and his new shop. Worst place ever Carlos, did a horrible job for my so , had so many cuts on his neck, bald spots When we questioned the cuts he blamed that my son has tender skin!!!! As far as the bald spot apparently he told my son just brush it over!!!! My son asked for a taper hair cut but ended up with a fade Crazy part, is we ended up by paying $45 for that I would not recommend Carlos or this entire place for any one. read more

Did a walk in, got beard and kneck kind up! Great atmosphere! They offered me a beverage, it was all wonderful!

I wanted this place to be legit, but it FAILED. I called the owner to ask about the shop he said, "the team is all fully licensed barbers and has years of experience." I explained that I wanted a basic fade and a razor to clean it up. He said, "yup, that's what we do." When I arrived, a guy started to cut my hair and THEN told me he was an apprentice, which I was not comfortable with, but what could I do with the clipper on my head? I could tell that he was "learning on the job". Nonetheless, I paid and tipped well. Instead of complaining and making the guy feel bad, I called the owner and explained the situation. He got defensive immediately and said, "That's on you to be sure you get the right cut, and we use the right tools". Seems backward to me. All I was looking for was, to come back, and I'll fix it, but he said, "it's on you to get it right." Bottom line, I paid $55 for a Supercut haircut, was lied to, and tried to work through the issue but got some attitude. Much better places out there with better service and skill. read more

I have been coming here for about a year. All the guys here do a great job. I personally have gotten cut by Angel and Carlos. Every time they do a phenomenal job. I get compliments all the time. The atmosphere is really nice there's normally games playing on the TV and great music. Highly recommend an appointment but they do accept walk ins if there is availability. This use to be my favorite barber shop for a while. Making a trip down from San Francisco wasn't an issue for me ever. The customer service here has dropped tremendously. The owner never has an idea of what's going on at his shop or with his hairstylists. The last time I came in, the stylist Khaliid had a horrible attitude and messed up my cut. He doesn't listen to the details or images I've shown. The barbers here have such bad attitudes and are very tip hungry. I understand the normal tipping culture but the service and how they go about things make it hard to want to tip more. I paid my stylist Khaliid a 8 dollar tip and he looked at me like I was crazy and after that, getting in for an appointment with him is like pulling candy from a child. My friend who goes here too was also disappointed. He drove from San Jose to come and Khaliid flaked on him 15 mins before his appointment . They become so rude if you have any issues with your schedule, even if you give them a heads up 48 hrs ahead. They make the environment so tense and become so difficult to work with going forward. This establishment is also closed on Sundays and Mondays. I understand many business's are closed on Mondays, but who closes a barber shop on Sundays? The days you run errands and things like this. Wouldn't recommend unless you want unprofessional and immature gentlemen with attitude servicing your hair needs. Second response to the owner's response. I understand everything that you have written, as far as the falsifying the tip issue, I'm a grown man and have no reason to lie or tarnish any brand for no reason. Your barbers have horrible attitudes and treat customers very different according to tips. As a customer that was my experience and my statement. You are not the customer here but the owner. Definitely a well needed barbershop for the location. First time in was a walk in. They were booked but luckily Angel was able to squeeze me in after a 20 minute wait. As an upper end shop prices are reasonable, and with the skill behind the blade it is all worth it. It wasn't the fact that I urgently needed a cut because of my mane type of hair, but I actually enjoyed trying out a new barbershop. Came by and saw Kel for the first time and extremely disappointed with my haircut, I don't even feel like I got anything cut. I asked for 0 taper on the sides to fade up and then I get told then he did a 4 instead? Also didn't use clippers on the top to even things out, honestly my hair looks worse than before and I spent $50 for nothing. Do not recommend if you're trying to go somewhere where quality matters.
