Had a bowl of Pho from here. Got it to go. The taste was fine but they combined my noodles with the broth and by the time I drove 9 minutes, the noodles were totally mushy and broken. Overall good flavor, but not my best pho experience. Maybe it would have been better eating in. read more

The food was not too bad (definitely not great) but the portion was just so small.....especially for $11. Maybe I am spoiled by the vast amount of Thai restaurants where I am from in Phoenix, but this just seemed sub par. Also, I ordered a three out of five for spice and there was no spice at all. Had not been back here in years and decided to stop on for lunch after the gym. I was so impressed with the pad Thai. I'm half Thai and my family makes amazing authentic Thai meals. This was honestly the best pad Thai I've had since my great aunt died many years ago. I went back 2 days later to try the chicken larb salad and was again so impressed with the fresh ingredients and the authenticity. The couple that run it are so friendly and love to talk about the food they make. I will be going frequently now. I would give it more stars if the Yelp gods allowed it. read more

Ordered Avacado sushi, a kids chicken fried rice, and an adult chicken fried rice. Also got a strawberry smoothie with lychee. Both fried rice extremely delicious. They also gave a genereous amount, very fulfilling and full of flavor. The smoothie was also delicious. Tasted light and boba was really tasty. The waiter was very nice and social without being overbearing. Will be coming her again the next time I crave Asian food. read more

Lotus Cafe is under new ownership and the food is great! My boyfriend and I have tried the Drunken Noodles, Green Curry, and Lo Mein, all of which were delicious. The egg rolls are also great. Fairly New place here, but great. A LOT of food for the money. It takes a while to get to you because they use small electric woks instead of commercial woks. But I guess that makes it more personal too. I like to meet my girls there and have some pho, and pad Thai! read more

I had the shrimp and avocado salad and my daughter had the egg roll noodle salad. It took a little long to prepare food but it was worth the wait. The salad was very fresh and the shrimp were grilled perfectly with just the right seasoning. My daughters salad was good also with fresh salad, noodles and peanuts. She also had a mango bubble tea with passion fruit bubbles. We will be making this restaurant a favorite of ours! read more

If you're looking for a place in San Angelo to enjoy some boba, this is not your place. The thai tea boba is terribly made and tastes like a cup of orange blended milk. Let me tell you about the black chunks they call tapioca because they are absolutely disgusting. For a cup of boba that costs $5, you can make it yourself at home for more quality. read more

I love this place. I usually get a to go order before my night shift and almost always choose the chicken pad Thai, which never disappoints. The eggrolls here are amazing! Great little place! My roommates and I eat here all the time. Typically we get the chicken ramen and it's terrific. Super friendly staff, quick service, cheap prices, and awesome food. We went here for the first time and it was fantastic. Our food was cooked fresh after we ordered, and everything was delicious. The staff was very helpful and patient in explaining Boba to us, and I'm glad because we really enjoyed it! We tried several dishes and had plenty for the five of us to share and still have leftovers. We grabbed an extra order of spring rolls to go, because they were just that good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, so much better than so many other Asian restaurants here in town. It's now tied with one other as our absolute favorites, and I doubt we'll even go to any of the others anymore. read more

I had the beef stir fry. The food was average. Taste was reasonable but the steak was tough and rubbery. The bubble tea was fantastic I was so excited to finally have a place to buy some in san angelo. The prices are a little steep. Definitely not worth the money for the stir fry but I would go again and pay for the bubble tea. Especially since they offer so many flavors of bubbles. read more

Arguably the best Asian food in San Angelo. Coming from an Asian dude, that should mean something to you. They are great and very personable. I had the pho there and while it isn't as good as my mom's home-made pho (haha), it was good. I had a boba drink - the tapioca (the chewy stuff) was good but the smoothy itself was kind of off since they make it from a powder (might be better as a syrup). Anyhow, I had a very good experience there. Would easily recommend - and again, I think this is the best Asian place in San Angelo. read more
