They even have an array of drinks for you to choose from afterward and a plethora of yummy snacks to eat while you get your hair blow dried . Service was so amazing . We had an enjoyable girls day getting the Lotus Luxury Headicure (1.5 hour). The head spa itself is in a room with a curtain separating two people at a time. There is a massage chair you sit in, and a traditional hair washing bowl. I thought I wouldn't care for the massage chair, but I really liked it! I agree with the other reviews. There really was not much hair/scalp massaging. They scrub your hair and wash it. They also provide a facial and massage your arms, back, feet, and hands. Afterwards, they bring you to do a heavy metal detox. I'm not sure if it actually works, but it is a cool concept. They do charge to blow dry your hair if you do not want it to be air dried. I didn't like how they do not style or use any product. And beware if you have long hair, it is $30 not $20. Overall, I enjoyed the experience but not sure if I'd come back! read more

The staff here was so nice. Everyone we interacted with was very sweet and welcoming, even with a bit of a language barrier at times. You could tell they truly wanted us to feel comfortable and cared for. EXPERIENCE There are definitely a few areas where the experience could be improved. We started in massage chairs at the front, but the transition to the treatment was a little unclear. One of the staff members came by and stopped my chair without saying anything, so it left me unsure if it was my turn until my friend asked. A little more communication in moments like this would make things smoother. For the scalp check, I was not told anything about my scalp at all. The process lasted less than a minute and the only question I was asked was whether I ever have an itchy scalp. When I said no, the staff member said "great" and that was the end of it. Later, when we asked about results, the front desk explained that we should have been given more information at the beginning and even offered to text it to us, though we never received a follow-up. A clearer and more thorough explanation here would make the treatment feel much more personalized. In the treatment room, the space was dark and relaxing, but for the first 15 minutes there was no spa music. Once the music came on, it made a big difference in setting the mood, so starting it before clients arrive would make the atmosphere even more soothing. It was also a little distracting when the water in the basin was turned on and off several times during the treatment. The treatment itself was fine...shampoo, serum, scalp tool, face wash, and massage for the neck, shoulders, arms, and feet. The massage was a nice addition, though I might suggest a gentler approach during the face portion and smoother transitions between areas. They finished by brushing my hair, and we were also offered drinks and snacks, which was a very thoughtful touch and made us feel cared for. Overall, the staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, and we appreciated their attentiveness. With a few tweaks in communication, consistency, and more explanation about the scalp check, this could easily become a much more polished and relaxing experience. read more

I was gifted a giftcard here for my birthday. I booked the 60 minute headicure. The place is clean and the staff was welcoming. I had really high hopes as I love having my hair played with and my neck rubbed. However, the actual experience was alot less about the head than I anticipated. They massaged my hands, feet and neck which was nice, but my actual scalp was just washed for like 15 minutes( and not relaxing wash more like SCRUBBING with finger nails). I wanted more massaging on my scalp. I also paid extra at the end to have my hair dried and they charged me 35 dollars for that (no style just dry) and that felt kinda high since I have shoulder length hair and their website says 15 dollars for a blow dry. I was relaxed and enjoyed it, just don't know if I will go back on my own dime. read more

Amazing experience! We went in expecting just a scalp treatment, but, they did the camera thing where they showed you how oily your hair is, they give mini facials and massage your neck and shoulder area- along with the massage table tapping your back and squeezing your lower leg area. Staff was amazing!!! Everyone was super sweet and nice! I had a nice hair blowout but they didn't put heat protectant in my hair. But my hair after the blowout was sooo smooth I've never had silkier hair in my life after a blowout! While the lady was doing the headspa she was using her nails scratching my scalp to the point where it wasn't that relaxing. I'm a tiny person so I recommend asking to put the massaging chairs on the lowest setting before getting started. Her lotion massages were amazing!! And foot massages were great though. I made an appointment at the Lotus Headspa for my partner and my anniversary -- and was not prepared for how intensely luxurious it was!! We bought the Japanese headicure package for 1 hour. I was pleasantly surprised by how much it actually involved. We first looked at our hair follicles under a microscope. Then we went into a relaxing room and settled into a massage chair/table that was massaging you the entire time! it also included an elaborate neck and face massage, cucumber facial, arm, foot and hand massage, hot stones, scalp tools, hair washing and head scratching experience. It was a lot of stimulation, but in the best way possible. The music was relaxing, the vibes were amazing, and they even offered us snacks and tea while they blow dried my hair after. It was a really unique and fun experience. I've already told my friends and am planning on coming back! Thank you Lotus for taking care of us so nicely! read more

I was recommend here by a friend because she said they were great!! But when I went the lady was literally using her long nails and digging into my scalp. Like scratching!!! SO PAINFUL!! Not relaxing AT ALL! Not worth the money. The massages was painful at some points too, she dug into my neck like I was a man, with so much force. I still tipped but I later regretted it. They do a microscope view of your scalp to determine its health and when you go back to your room, the table is another massage table! You lay flat with your head support that's also a wash bowl; you basically get a facial, shoulder rub, scalp massage neck massage hair super cleaning with relaxing water running, just, perfect. This spa was nothing short of fantastic! I had no idea what to expect, but was blown away by the service I received. I did the 1.5 hour headicure, and I wish it would have been longer!! I had my arms, hands, feet, back, and neck massaged during the treatment, on top of the scalp massage. There were real cucumbers used on my face and hot stones used on my back! This place is incredible! I booked a Lotus luxury headicure and added on a blowdry. Everything about this experience was amazing. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly. They paid close attention to every detail. My appointment included a consultation where I was asked about my scalp conditions. Then I went to a treatment room to undress. They provided a wrap around robe, which usually are too little for me, but this one worked! From there I laid on a massaging table that massaged me the whole time. Had a facial, scalp massage and cleansing, arm and hand and foot massages with a warm towel at the end. I thought my treatment was over, but then I was sat up for a hot stone massage on my back and neck that melted my tension away. Complete with another warm towel! After that we went to the main salon area and was given a foot bath, cup of hot tea, a heating pad and another scalp treatment before my blowout started. I have had MANY massages, facials, hair treatments and nail treatments from many different places (bc spa treatments are my favorite way to spend my me time) and I have to say Lotus Headspa is in my top 5 experiences. I would describe my one-hour "headicure" as a marriage of all-over massage (due to the massage bed you are placed in, which is pretty powerful) and nourishing facial (many lovely astringents and creams. The people are certainly nice, and surprisingly they have kept their prices very reasonable: my 1-hour service was $75. I wish them lots of luck! read more

Do not go here. I cannot walk today because after my head massage, the lady started to pop my neck and my back without asking me and it completely messed me up. I told her to stop and she did but at this point it was too late. The head massage was not relaxing, it did not feel good, and you have to pay extra for them to dry your hair afterwards. read more
