The $25 menu price is very reasonable for 3 courses, an equivalent value to a CAVU Burger. While price was very reasonable, the dishes were not great. Caesar dressing was a bit weak and tasted like store bought dressing in a bottle. Burger a bit dry and Crème Brûlée was a tad too sweet. Very friendly hosts and she gave us free parking.

We tried CAVU Kitchen and Bar for HH and dinner. The restaurant had a 50% off wine bottle special for HH. We went for it and combined it with dinner. Our server Shanu was on my point. She was handling the bar and tables by herself. She was attentive and provided excellent service. We had the Nachs for an appetizer. Hand cut chips, house made salsa, cheese mix, house spice, avocado, tomatoes, and jalapenos, so fulfilling! Next up were the Grilled Miso Salmon and the Big Salad featuring Tofu. Both were excellently prepare with the Salmon being flaky and moist. The Salmon was presented with edamame, "forbidden" rice, carrot and miso puree, pickle and crispy ginger, and water crisp. The Salmon had a perfect char. The Big Salad included cucumbers, heirloom tomatoes, avocado, red onions, hard boiled egg, olives, romaine lettuce, cranberries, feta cheese, and herb ranch dressing. We washed it all down with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc at half price a HH special and a glass of old fashioned featuring Jim Beam. Amazingly another patron picked up the tab on the wine bottle, bless him! We must pass that forward. I didn't know what to expect from this hotel spot but was pleasantly surprised with the quality and presentation. We give them 4.5 for the food, the execution, and presentation. The wife went for the Tofu dessert which I understand was great.

On our visit it was not busy, bso, we were seated immediately. The front of the house staff were welcoming and cordial. We ordered our libations, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and an Old Fashioned. Both hit the right spot! Next up were the appetizers, charred Brussel Sprouts and Truffle Fries. They were a great way to start this dinner. Seasoned perfectly and quite tasty. Our entrees consisted of a Seafood Cioppino with Salmon, Mussels, and Halibut, as well as potatoes, red onions, and cherry tomatoes. My wife chose the. Grilled Salmon with quinoa, tomato, and a butter sauce. Bother were perfectly prepared and did not require additional seasoning. The Salmon was moist and flaky and the seafood stew right on point. My wife had the Apple Strueddle dessert which was great! I had a taste and loved the mixture of spices. For a hotel restaurant we were surprised at the quality of the food preparation.

Both were really good!! I enjoyed our meal overall. It's not like mind blowing food but good for the value. My fave was chicken burger as it was fresh & crispy. The lobster bisque pasta was decent but I wouldn't mind more sauce. The takoyaki was okay but I would opt for something else next time.Fried gyoza was yummy. Ice cream sundae was okay but nothing special Worth going for the combo deal though! It's a nice space where you can watch sports and there's live music on certain days. I

We came on a Sunday and tried their combo deal -- 2 appetizers + 2 mains for only $39.99. It was an unbeatable value for Richmond! The portions were generous and the food was tasty, but what really stood out were their signature cocktails -- creative, balanced, and worth coming back for. The vibe is upbeat and fun. It is kind of like a bar meets karaoke room. It is making it a perfect spot for a night out with friends, groups, or even a private party. They also have a big screen, which makes it a great place to catch a game. Overall, Spark Kitchen & Bar is a lively spot with great value, delicious drinks, and a fun atmosphere.
