Really nicely decorated place, but the staff make the location really hood. Could be a nice place for some hookah. Went in there on a Saturday night and it was packed. No one would come to greet us or seat us down. After finally getting a table, no one gave us a menu for 20 minutes. When we brought this to the attention to the server, he got real aggressive with my friend explaining he was the only person on the floor and he was busy. This was right after he just finished opening out his hair and was dancing wildly to some music right next to us. Then he came back with the menus and asked us if we wanted and Indian server to serve us since we were brown which was racial and continued to argue with us. Terrible experience and would not suggest this location due to the behavior of the people that work at this establishment. Could have been a nice spot... read more

The best experience I've ever had in all of my days living here in the Bronx! Ever since I discovered this place, I've received the best service I've ever had. Jay is not only a great employee , but an incredible person. He makes sure that the hookah is on point, the beverages are fantastic, and the music he plays is of none other. Even though this place serves no alcohol , I guarantee that you will never leave unimpressed and unsatisfied. The owner herself, makes sure that each customer is treated well and attended. If you're ever looking for a hookah spot to enjoy yourself and have a great time, I highly recommend Lotus. Trust me, I've been to other affiliated hookah spots and nothing compares to the service here at Lotus. Enjoy! read more

Nonetheless, even with the limited menu, the food was tasty, fresh and arrived quickly. The drinks were strong and the service was outstanding. Anthony D was our server, and even with the huge crowd, he paid attention to us and had a very pleasant attitude. We did not feel neglected or ignored for one second, even with all of those people. I had the chicken tenders and fries which were delicious and were a nice, generous portion. My daughter had the Caesar salad and she said it was excellent. We have been here before, and we will be back again. Just had to give them a shout out because of the excellent service given, even with the large number of people in attendance. Went there last weekend and the place was packed for a Saturday night, lit music (Mix of HipHop, Reggaeton and House Music) and dim lighted colorful nice ambiance. Me and my group of 3 had to wait to get service until we were provided with warm hospitality, we'd have to say it's very rare to receive such hospitality service in the local or any other lounges in the city. They should definitely add some food to their menu on top of the finger food options they have with the decent soft beverage menu. However, the best part was the Hookas. They use some kind of advanced metal head instead of typical foil paper to place the charcoal on top of the Hookah, which turns the smoke very smooth and pleasurable. The hookah makers, we should actually call them "Mixologist of Hookahs" seemed very expert in mixing and making some of the delicious and the best (I have to call it the best!) hookah flavors I have ever tried especially the Kamoon, Deadpool and White Hypnotic that we ordered. Our server was very knowledgeable and recommended the right flavors after we explained our taste of Hookah in reasonable price. It was like we're in a upscale downtown "Hookah-Cocktail Lounge" trying different exclusive flavors of hookhas made by the "Hookah-Mixologists". We really enjoyed the whole experience in the Lotus Lounge and looking forward to go back to try their other flavors soon enough so they can call us their regulars . I give them 5 stars because ive been around since they built the place and the process is outstanding. The customer service is outstanding even the music down to the shakes and Hookah . The more process they continue To have with growth .Everything will come together Beautifully , just have patience and you won't be let down. I recommend this place to who ever wants a nice local Hookah bar just to kick it with people and enjoy the night out with friends and family. Since the summer of 2018 I've been a regular here to the point I'm here seven days a week. The ambience and music is amazing! Not to mention the great service Tahmina the manager and her staff are very welcoming to the point everyone knows everyone. The hookahs are top of the line and very decent prices. The tea and food menu are unmatched. Everyone who I've introduced to this place has fell in love. This is the kick back for young and grown and sexy. The cleanliness of the bathroom and place overall is astonishing. I can't even say how much this place has become apart of my everyday routine after work. Keep up the great work!!! read more

I honestly been to several hookah lounges across NYC, but I can sincerely say that this is one of my best experiences I've had at a shisha bar. With the professional but friendly welcoming service from jay with the dreadlocks, assisting us with every request or question we had. 11 out of 10 experience, hands down !!! From the great mix of Spanish and urban music selection to the wonderful unique shisha flavors. Humbly, what's not to love about this place. Lotus has really stuck out to me from all the hookah lounges in New York. Me and my friends enjoy coming to hookah lounges with good customer service and most importantly good hookah. Shafi has always catered us with by far one of the best hookahs in New York. He in general always takes care of all his customers and treats everyone equally. I was at the lounge the day after valentines day. It was very busy and the young man with glasses, if im not mistaken his name was Jose was very attentive and even though there was a bit of a wait he still made me feel very comfortable. My hookah took forever to come but he constantly made sure I was okay and comfortable. The tea i order was very good and even the girl who made me tea, the young woman glasses asked me if i was okay. I come here everyday the staff are so nice! Delilah, Jose, Sage, and Shafy always make sure im alright and im getting good service. Jose and Delilah lets me try their hookah all the time and I always get what they are smoking. If not Jose always recommendations hookah for me and they're the best. He definitely knows his hookahs! If you combine blue mist, Istanbul hookah lounge, or any other hookah lounge in the Bronx, it still won't beat Lotus Lounge. Friendly people, no drama. Great place to come with friends chill and relax. I highly recommend people to come by and try there hookahs, shakes and smoothies. They will be having food soon.
