My first experience with this restaurant establishment. While visiting Houston I was determined to try. Service was friendly and the taste was flavorful. I ordered the fried lobster and rice for an addition price. Box with crab, corn, sausage and boiled shrimp. The lobster has a crunch profile that's worth visiting for. The medium heat was spicy and I think mild when I return. My brother opted for fried fish and shrimp, he stated the taste was a 9 out of 10. I would recommend to anyone to stop by and have your mouth profile on happiness.

I've been wanting to try this place since my friend came back raving about their sauce. I'm not actually into a ton of crazy sauce on my boiled seafood... preferably I like mine steamed with drawn butter. I'm simple, so Kee that in mind. We ordered lots of things to try including the crab, shrimp, wings, and of course the seafood rice. The rice was my best choice bc everything was just ok. The lemon pepper spicy wings tasted sweet like bbq but were fresh and meaty. The seafood boil wasn't that impressive to me. My crab cluster was very tiny and overcooked making it difficult to access the meet, but my friend's crab looked fresh and was definitely 3 to 4 times larger than mine. The place stayed busy so I'm sure they're doing well. I don't have to stop by again when I'm back in Houston,

Fried lobster and hot box is the way to go. Loud pack not bad. You wait a bit since they cook fresh and the place can be packed. Plenty of parking lot at most of their location

A friend and I were craving snow crabs and chose this spot over LA Crawfish. We called in our order and asked for full crabs, but didn't check before leaving, big mistake. The crabs were barely worth it for the $40 we spent. We called and spoke to two managers who just said "sorry" and told us to bring the food back, which wasn't helpful since we were starving and tired after working overnight. The turkey neck was the only good part, that's why this is getting 4 stars. But charging the same price with lower quality? Not cool. We won't be back.

We went to Lotus because I wanted crawfish and I was not impressed. The restaurant was not clean and the service was subpar. The staff was nonchalant and someone was vaping in the restaurant. The food was lightly seasoned and you have to pay for everything separately. There are definitely better restaurants out there if you want crawfish.

This was an update from last weekend order. So now I get home and open the box everything looked fresh with a few extra snow crabs. I must say they weren't the biggest I've had from there but they were good with a little spice. Everyone was professional and friendly. So Hammy thanks for making this a great experience.

I ate at Lotus Restaurant in Houston and let me just say... the food was so delicious OMG . I ordered the seafood boil with Louisiana fried rice, fried tilapia, and fried shrimp, and everything was cooked to perfection. Let's not forget about the drinks WOW

The food here is always good . I love the hush puppies and catfish as well! The eggs on the side were over cooked but other than that I loved everything . The sauce is good too . 8/10. Service was pretty good and ambiance is also ideal .

Their menu consists of apps (mostly fried), soups and salads, lobster dishes, steaks, vietnamese seafood dishes, shellfish entrees (clams, scallops, etc), an oyster section, stir fry dishes, rice creations, and fried seafood dishes. They serve beer and wine but have some Asian wine-based cocktails. This is truly a fusion restaurant since they have Vietnamese, American, Chinese, Thai, and Peruvian influences on their menu. They have boiled seafood, of course, including crawfish during the season. On every table is also a $12.95 lunch menu with soups, sandwiches and seafood dishes. This may be one of the better deals out there. We tried a few dishes: drunken lobster, surf and turf, crab fried rice, drunken tofu, and shrimp with salted egg. Two additional people in our group came a little later and actually ordered the lunch special (pork chop plate) and chicken wings. Their napkins are a little strange as they're tri-fold style like you would normally see in a restroom. The dishes were pretty good, but I ended up eating mostly noodles since their garlic noodles are pretty addicting. The sirloin that came on the steak dish was supposedly a little tough but that is typical of a basic sirloin steak. I didn't actually get to sample it since other people grabbed it before I could. They only had L and XL size lobster the day we came...so they said their prices were around $90 and $108...I think we selected the $90 size. The drunken lobster dish can be shared between 2 people as it's a big platter but just 1 cut up lobster. The garlic noodles beneath the lobster pieces on the drunken lobster are way better than the noodles beneath the shrimp and steak on the surf and turf since they are stir-fried with lots of onions, jalapeños and what seemed to be small ground pork/beef chunks.

The steak was a little tough.....sliced really thin with 3 shrimp on top. I put a picture on here for reference. It didn't look super tasty but it wasn't too bad. I asked for them to make it spicy, it was spicy and I feel like I'm still on the search for a better garlic noodles. The drunken wings were really good. The truffle fries were good. They also had happy hour when I went happy hour is every day from 5 to 7...even on the weekend. I went on a Saturday Also during happy hour oysters are a dollar I did not get any. The duck look really good. The duck is prepared to order. It takes about 45 minutes. A few orders of that went out. Will probably go back. Customer service was cool. Dennis is the best. They add gratuity in and you pay before you sit down, which I actually didn't mind at all. The service was great, and honestly, I would have tipped even more if I paid at the end. You pick what you want in your bag, and you can get as much as you like. There's only a surcharge if you get extra crab legs, king crab, or lobster, which makes sense. I chose the spiciest boil with all three flavor seasonings combined, and it was delicious. The spice level was good but it was still tolerable. For sides, I tried the lemon pepper wings and the garlic noodles. The garlic noodles were sooo good. I wanted another order but it was no way I could finish it. The big chicken wing was also tasty. My friend ordered hush puppies, but I didn't even get a chance to try them because they disappeared the second they hit the table. The shrimp fried rice was fine, but the noodles were definitely better. Between the cook-to-order sides, the fresh flavors, the generous portions, and the quick, friendly service. I'll definitely be back!

Came here with family to celebrate Father's Day so we splurged on the Tamarind Dungeness Crab (MP was $38 at the time in Jun 2026) and it was the most memorable dish I've had in a long time. The coating on the crab is super light and was fried perfectly so that the juices were all sealed inside. Since it was fresh, the crab meat is super sweet and soft. The tamarind sauce is also SO addicting that I ate 2 bowls of rice with it. One crab was enough to feed 3 of us. Another must order dish is their snow pea leaves. I don't know why but it tastes 10x better than when I make it at home myself. Soft and sautéed well to make it a solid side dish. Clams in Black Bean Sauce (7/10) - another good dish we had as a starter/side. Flavorful and the clams were just the right texture. Black pepper lobster (10/10) - the star of the show. Loved this dish. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. So flavorful and delicious. Would highly recommend this dish. Fried fish (8/10) and fried tofu (7/10) - solid dish. Came out fresh and hot and fish was fried perfectly with a nice crisp bite. Tofu was also cooked well but I think I enjoyed the fried fish just a bit better. Peking Duck - (9/10) - another signature dish, in my opinion. Duck was cooked great with a nice crispy skin and perfectly steamed baos. Another dish I would highly recommend. Overall, good visit with great food and good service!

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

Ironically, I'm not big on oysters either, so I ordered the Jumbo Golden Fried Shrimp which hit the spot real good. Large shrimp, well fried, flavored, and the tartar sauce was addicting. The fries that came with it were perfectly seasoned, carrying a bit more of a cajun flavor rather than just regularly salted.
