Fried rice

Ooh lala- crawfish is in season and it was soooo good in the ooh lala sauce- plenty of garlicky, saucy goodness. Got 2 lbs of crawfish and a cluster of snow crab with egg and corn. I will skip the egg next time since it's consistently overcooked no matter where you go. This is still my fav I've found in Houston since moving last April!

I'm so glad we found this place! We visited on a late Saturday and ordered wings; I upgraded my order with sweet potato fries. Our food was hot and fresh, fountain drinks were available, and BYOB was an option. The service was quick and great from start to finish, and the place was very clean. I will definitely come back.

Went here for their 5 lbs of crawfish for $40 deal and enjoyed my meal. We got the crawfish in the ooh la la sauce and the fried mushrooms and cajun fries for appetizers. The crawfish was good, and I appreciated the amount of garlic they added to the sauce. Even with the garlic, however, the sauce tasted mainly like melted butter with a subtle hit of spice at the end. I'm used to more bold flavors when it comes to seafood boils, but I also love a good garlic butter, so overall it still satisfied my crawfish craving. (6/10) The fried mushrooms were crispy and well cooked through on the inside. They also came with a delicious ranch. (7/10) The cajun fries were standard. They were crispy but lacked cajun seasoning. (5/10) The service here was excellent. The servers came around multiple times to clear my bowl of shells and refill my water. They also packaged our leftovers for us and were helpful with the menu. The parking lot is shared with other businesses in the plaza, but there are always spots available. I would come back to try their fried catfish!

Spring Branch hidden gem! This place was delicious. Everything we got was well seasoned and reasonably priced. Total pictured was $92 Appetizer: Sampler. It had boudin balls, cheese sticks, and fried mushrooms. It was a large portion and came with ranch/marinara sauce. Very tasty, but in my opinion it needed a little more seasoning on the boudin 8/10 Fried rice with shrimp- 10/10 no complaints! Also a massive portion. You can easily share this plate Crab legs, shrimp and potatoes, corn-were very delicious. We had it with the Cajun sauce they offer. 10/10 as well! **not pictured is the garlic noodle box. It comes with an egg, sausage, and shrimp. I got it spicy and it was great! The heat didn't take away from the flavor. 10/10 ** you order at the counter and be prepared to tell them where you will be seated as they need it for your order. Staff was super friendly and helpful! One of the staff members was as constantly checking the trash bins and ensuring we didn't need anything else. **the restaurant itself is pretty spacious. Lots of TV's to watch the games and it's BYOB! They also had the best mix of music (all the hits from 2000's! Made our Millennial heart happy) restrooms were super clean as well. **we went back with our children and the kids meals are very affordable and they even had leftovers Overall this place is wonderful and highly recommend it!

We got there at opening hour so service was quick! dining area has lots of seating I guess depending on how busy it is. the cashier (didn't get his name) was a huge help for patrons who have not been there before, especially when it came to suggestions and even let us taste test the different sauces they had for the seafood. All I can truly say is everything was really good! from the batter on the fried pickles and boudin balls, the crunch of the hot wings, the Ooh la la sauce!! so good! My brother in law got so full he went home and took a 2 hour nap

My husband enjoyed his HONEY BBQ wings. Says they were tender and had a good taste!

Food was ok service was fantastic and the ambiance is very chill. The next visit I will be trying the boil!

I was in my Crawfish mode. I had just had Crawfish Cafe the night before and they were just PERFECTION!! I ordered 3lbs Crawfish Bayou Sauce Spicy and a Sausage. I decided against the Ooh La La sauce due to seeing many reviews saying that it was salty. I also got a Strawberry Green Tea with Rainbow Jelly. A few of the Crawfish were tough. I'm guessing that they were not cooked long enough. The sauce was too salty to let the flavor shine. I don't do SALTY. I couldn't enjoy them because of this. The sausage was also too salty to eat. I was totally bummed out. My Green tea was tasty!

I was recommended this place by a group of friends since I was really craving crawfish, and this place did not disappoint! I ordered online for pick up and ordered 2 pounds of the Ooh La La spicy, as well as 2 pounds of the Bayou sauce - both spicy, and also got six piece of spicy garlic wings with crawfish fried rice. The order was ready in less than 25 minutes, which was really nice. To start, it was a bit difficult to tell which sauce was which, since they did not label the bags in my to-go order, so I really can't say which one I liked better. One of them definitely was a lot saltier than the other one, but the flavors for both were still really good and also was actually spicy, which I enjoyed. The crawfish sizes were also decently bi The spicy garlic wings that I ordered were also pretty good. They were of decent size and were not super dry. I thought that the crawfish fried rice was lacking a bit in terms of flavor and was also on the dryer side, but if you add a bit of the crawfish sauce into the fried rice it ends up being so tasty!! Definitely a solid spot to come and try crawfish, but do be warned that the sauces definitely pack a punch, and also probably have a lot of butter in it!

Beverage compliments of circle K! Delicious Crawfish. Big too!!

Crawfish review!! Ambiance: clean and perfect for what it is. Service: friendly as ever to me and everyone I watched them interact with, even the manager. Ps... counter order, not a server style restaurant ! Alcohol: BRING YOUR OWN!! lol. Yes. BYOB. Who hates saving a buck??! There's a circle K on the corner while you wait on your food ;). Food...CRAWFISH: oo la la flavor. Super Garlic, mild spice, minor sweetness. Amazing combo! No mister and misses Louisiana, it's not traditional seasoning so don't come here, but it's freaking delicious!! If I wasn't embarrassed of who was watching, I would have drank the bowl like cereal milk! Nice job. Great experience!

Wildly delicious! The reviews weren't lying. While I was in the area I got super hungry and decided to look for somewhere that served seafood and found this place. I saw it had good reviews so I decided to give it a try and I have no regrets whatsoever. Everyone was so welcoming. We order two lunch specials (1 piece of fish, 3 shrimp, fries, and drink). Very big portions and seasoned very well. They had a lot of things to choose from and for seafood, I thought the prices were good. I can only eat seafood on Fridays so I'm happy I found this place. Looking forward to coming here weekly!

Bayou Box with 12 boiled shrimp is delicious!!
Azile Y.

Food was delicious! We had the shrimp po boy, and the Bayou Box with the 12 shrimp. Everything was yummy. My only complaint is the excessive single-use plastic they use- we dined in, and they gave us plastic utensils to take to our table. Then when they brought the food out they included more plastic utensils that negated our need for the first ones. Water cups were flimsy plastic. Take out boxes are styrofoam. All sauces come in single use packets. I think they could do more, especially for dine-in customers, to reduce waste.

The food is absolutely delicious! customer service is a little bit all over the place but 100% worth the price and worth the time. The restaurant itself is pretty clean. Every time someone leaves they are right away cleaning up the area. We come from time to time when we are in the mood for some tasty seafood or fried rice.

I was craving some crawfish so I came by this place on a Wednesday afternoon so it was basically empty. Plenty of space for seating and the vibes here were great! The staff here was incredibly helpful and kind. At first I was a little worried since the menu said I had to order a minimum of 2 lbs of crawfish and I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. But the worker informed me that I could just order 1 lbs and it was only 9.99 - what a deal! As for the sauce, it was my first time here so I didn't know which one to get but the staff was kind enough to let me sample all 3 (garlic butter, cajun sauce, and the ooh la la spicy). The ooh la la spicy is a combination of both the garlic butter and the cajun sauce so I went with that. I also added a potato, corn, and a sausage and with tip, everything was $17.00! The food was delicious. The crawfish size was a mix of big and small but the sauce was great (it was definitely a little too salty for my liking but full of flavor). The potato was good, the sausage had that perfect crisp-textured casing, and the corn was spectacular. Overall, if I had to give this spot a rating just from the food, I'd give it a 4 star since it was a little salty but the customer service is what made me give Bayou Seafood 5 stars. I can't wait to come back and try more items on their menu!

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

When we arrived, the host let us choose where we wanted to sit. I originally spotted a cozy booth by the window, but since we were asked if we'd like to sit where we could watch the TV during the Cup match, we opted for one of the high-top tables instead. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake because there isn't any lighting at the high tables. We could barely see our food. Adding pendant or drop-down lighting above those tables would make a huge difference. If you plan to visit, I'd recommend requesting a regular table or booth for better lighting. The menu is definitely unique, though I found it somewhat limited compared to other seafood restaurants. To start, I ordered the roasted oysters while my friend had a dozen raw oysters with all the traditional fixings. The roasted oysters were delicious, but there was so much topping that it almost took the shine away from the oysters themselves. Next time, I'd ask for lighter toppings and no scallions. For my entrée, I had the Halfshell Grilled Redfish. The fish itself was cooked beautifully--moist, flaky, and perfectly prepared. The only downside was the chermoula, which leaned far too heavily on the citrus. The lemon flavor completely overpowered the fish. As my side, I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Unfortunately, it had a distinct burnt taste, which made it seem like the roux had been overcooked. A good gumbo should have a deep, rich flavor, but this one was overshadowed by that burnt note. My friend ordered the Jerk Fish Collars, and we both agreed they would have been much better if the fish had been marinated to allow the jerk seasoning to really penetrate. I also ordered a Lemon Drop Martini, and I have to admit I was surprised when it arrived in such a tiny martini glass, especially considering the price. Overall, the quality of the seafood is evident, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. I think a few adjustments to the lighting, better balance in some of the flavors, and more attention to details like the gumbo and cocktail portions would elevate the experience even further. I'd definitely return to try more of the menu and hope for a more polished experience next time.

Just before closing, we had the place to ourselves and got to shoot the S with the owner who gave us its very cool history. 38 years in, and a few miles on his ledger, Marty still cranks out some fabulous food! The place was like walking into the 50's, with the old school metal tables and ample linoleum. I LOVE Louisiana cooking, and it couldn't have been more authentic. The only problem I had with my shrimp gumbo is the bowl was too small (actually a filling portion) and loaded with succulent, tender shrimp. Yummmmm! The cornbread was sublime and dipping it in the gumbo was killer! John had a Po Boy and said it was heavenly. The fries were obviously fresh cut and perfect. We finished with the bread pudding as we are both connoisseurs, and boy did it not disappoint. Thank You for yet another 5 star experience and a return visit will be on the horizon! Cheers, JimG

The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind.
