Vehicle still available on webpage an hour after the person on the phone shouts at me for enquiring about the vehicle.

I do not recall ever having a worse experience at a place which buys and sells items and interacts with consumers and this is why. I was interested in a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and spoke to them on Monday morning during the President's day weekend about the availability of a certain vehicle. When I headed out of my home, the vehicle was still there. However, before reaching the dealership, a person from the dealership called and informed me that they had sold the vehicle. Because I was driving I couldn't talk at length and therefore when I reached my place of work about 30 minutes later, I called to confirm that it was the vehicle I was interested in and they indicated as much. Later in the day around 6 p.m. as I was headed back, I was checking the inventory at nearby dealerships one last time and saw that this vehicle was still available on all sites, including their own website (see picture). I dropped an email trying to confirm if the vehicle had indeed been sold or not because things often do fall through (e.g. financing couldn't be arranged or something else). A few minutes later, a person called me identifying himself as calling from Loughead Nissan and sternly demanded that I stop enquiring about the vehicle and added that the vehicle was being sold today for $30,000. Apart from the fact that it's impossible for a vehicle to sell at more than the list price ($29,130), I am truly shocked at how rude the person were. I am not the kind of person who takes offense easily but being rude with a customer for enquiring and then lying about selling a vehicle for more than the list price is SHOCKING. I had inquired about the availability of the vehicle only twice in the day - once via email and once via phone - and in both of those instances, the vehicle was still available on their webpage. If they really don't want to be "bothered" by their customers inquiring about their vehicles, they should do a better job of keeping their inventory more up-to-date. I am not sure who the person making the call was but behavior like this should not be tolerated and at a minimum, the person ought to be taught some customer-service skills. Again, if one thinks I am being unduly harsh one can see the many positive reviews that I have written for other dealerships such as Murray Kia of Conshohocken and John Kennedy Subaru. Update: I had a chat with the owner of the dealership on Tuesday re: my review. Private conversations ought to be private so I will not disclose what was discussed except to note that it did not cause me to rethink my review. The owner however came off as a bully because he tried dropping names of important figures at my workplace but unfortunately that did not impress me at all. Maybe those tactics work for others Mr. Loughead but not me. I also found that within a day of having posted my review, my email address was used to sign me up for an adult dating website. To the employee of the dealership who did that and is undoubtedly reading this review, what you are doing is not a joke or a prank. That is not how one should treat a fellow human being but because reminding you about the Golden rule (Matthew 7:12) may not work, let me also note that I will be reporting this to law enforcement for online harassment.

I have had MANY cars and MANY car dealership experiences over the years, and I must say I am glad I decided to go to Loughead. Matt Bonhage was the salesperson who assisted me in August and it was the smoothest, easiest transaction I have ever experienced. Matt was kind and patient and I ended up leaving with a brand new car and a great lease deal. I'm just getting around to leaving this review and I've had my car for 4 mos now, but I had to share my awesome experience. Also, shout out to Greg in financing-also a very nice guy! I hope more people give Loughead a chance if they are in the market for a Nissan.

The disclosure of an added fee from a special search that the salesperson directed.

Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward process turned into a four-month ordeal due to ongoing disputes between Moppert and my insurance provider, Progressive. This unnecessary back-and-forth resulted in significant delays for repairs that ultimately took only two weeks to complete. Throughout this process, I experienced unprofessional behavior, particularly from the owner, Doug Moppert. Even on the day I arrived to retrieve my vehicle after four long months, I was met with further frustration. Doug Moppert refused to release my car, initially claiming that it needed to be washed--a concern I expressed was unnecessary given the circumstances. When that excuse was dismissed, he then cited an inability to process the deductible payment and insisted I return the following day, citing "company policy." This led to an incredibly disheartening moment, where I was left sitting in my rental car, overwhelmed with frustration and disappointment. After some time, Doug approached me and stated that if I was willing to wait, he would clean the car and release it. I agreed, and eventually, another employee processed my deductible payment before Doug finally returned my vehicle. During the four months my car remained at Moppert, I endured rude and condescending treatment, including being yelled at via email, scolded by another employee, and misled by Doug Moppert himself up until the very last day. The lack of customer service and professionalism was appalling. Additionally, their practice of inflating estimates and delaying repairs until all supplemental payments are approved by the insurance company only prolonged the process and maximized their payout. Moppert claims to be a Certified BMW Collision Center, but the certification they reference is from their Pennsylvania location. The Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ location does not hold this certification. If you're in South Jersey and need collision repairs, I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. Even if it means covering towing expenses yourself, taking your car to a reputable facility will likely save you time, money, and a great deal of frustration. Attached is a screen shot of an example of the way that a Moppert employee expresses herself in an email thread with the client and Progressive.

Not only was I informed of everything every step of the way, but they handled all insurance stand-stills in a timely manner and also returned my car cleaner than it was sent in. Added bonus, they work with Enterprise and took care of setting me up with a rental while I waited for my repairs (also covered by insurance). The customer service was excellent, too. I remember talking to Dan and Matt the most. Thanks again, much appreciated.
