Wish I could review the food, but we got there right when it opened to the public, there is no host, they said sit wherever. Cool. We sit down 5:31, and the tables start filling up around us in a mostly empty section up front. Server shows up about 5:40 and counts all the tables. She got slammed, she asks us who got here first? I said us with a smile. She says "yeah riiiight" and decides are go last. Took orders of 4 tables, put the orders in, got all of their drinks at the bar, served them. When my friends and I from the Lou come into Indy for a show at the Ampitheater, we have made it a tradition to stop here for a pint. Who doesn't love a good pub? Solid 4 stars for this place. Ambiance was perfect and warm after getting out of a blizzard. Was sat quickly and only w the intention of grabbing a quick burger. Opted for something w fried onions, bbq sauce and bacon and it was delicious. Burger seemed above average but perhaps some of the fixins and condiments not so much. All in all, solid meal. Maybe 2 1/2. We got there a little bit after 10 and the kitchen was closed. No problem that the kitchen was closed, except for the fact that soon as we walked in, they told us the kitchen was closed, as I was walking to the back, we were told the kitchen was closed, when we sat down The waitress first thing out of her mouth not out can I help you kitchen is closed. It was 100% like they were not interested in having you there and they thought the kitchen being closed would keep you from staying. We ended up with about 15 people in there and you would've thought they were excited to have that. The waitress will certainly not accommodating at all throughout the night. I fully understand it was a very busy weekend with a lot of sport activity down there, but it seems like if you're in the service industry, that is a great opportunity to make more money than an average night . The kitchen closed and I heard other groups ask if they could order some pizzas because there was a group on the outdoor patio probably 50 and you would've thought they asked to bring in their own bottle of liquor. I also know that group of 50 out on the back Was trying to talk and having somebody speak for a few moments and they ask if they could turn the music down in the bartender didn't even entertain the idea or seem sorry that they couldn't. read more

Been twice, the Buffalo chicken sandwich was outstanding . Beers I recalled were tasty but don't remember which ones I ordered as it's been nearly two years. Grilled chicken sandwich Cajun style was a bit overcooked but still tasty. The chilly was good and not spicy. My friend got the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was HUGE and had a spicy kick. Another two of my friends had a fruity pomegranate and lemonade drink that was amazing. They had to stop themselves from downing the drinks in one go it was so yummy. Good place to stop by in Indy. Also has outdoor seating! We were at a conference and went to lunch at Loughmiller's Pub yesterday. We were charged one dollar more than what was shown on the menu for each of our two meals. When we pointed out the error to the waitress, she removed the extra charge but the manager did not come out to apologize or make amends. An error on one meal is plausible. An upcharge of a dollar on each meal... not so much. read more

Work locally so have come here several times in the last year and a half. It can be hit or miss. Lunch time is very very busy, so seating can be tough. It's a small space. The outdoor seating can be nice on a nice day but it's not super comfortable as its lawn chairs and tables are close together. The food I've had ranked by best to worst: 1. Tenderloin - can't go wrong with an Indiana tenderloin. Fries are good but they're just your standard frozen crinkle cut fries. 2. Indiana Cobb Salad - good! I swap out the poppyseed dressing for ranch, naturally. 3. Taco Salad - eh. Could be good with some tweaks. I like Fritos but about midway through the salad my mouth is shredded and the shredded lettuce is wet and soggy (hot chili on lettuce isn't super ideal). 4. Bacon jam burger - I don't understand why this is so popular? The butter patties seem like frozen patties with little to no seasoning. The "bacon jam" seems to just be sautéed onions and bacon? That is not jam. People expect something sweet/sticky/concentrated flavor. We thought they forgot it on our burger but when they brought a small bowl of it (like 15 min after asking for it) we realized it was on there it was just bland l, basically steamed bacon. read more
