Kilroys is a big bar with tons of TVs and seating. They were pretty busy so service was a little slow. We ordered a smash burger and Cajun chicken sandwich and the bread stick of the month which was arroz con pollo. They were pretty solid. The burger was good, bread sticks were delicious, and I enjoyed my sandwich which was a lot bigger than I anticipated. We were looking for a late night bite and we're so happy to stumble in to Kilroy's! They were one of the few places open late that still had their kitchen and full menu service. After attending the Christian concerts of Winter Jam at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and on our way back to the parking garage, I discovered this restaurant. I wanted to avoid the sounding horn and traffic. Also, I wanted somewhere not available on my side of town but with TVs. Unexpectedly, we got carded inside at the door although I was not going to be drinking. We sat ourselves. I did not like the saggy cushion of the booth. The staff accommodated me by turning to expected channels for the Winter Olympics which did not air until when we were about to leave. No sound and no captions with the restaurant music. Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline played twice and you know what happens. Fun place. Closing is 2 a.m. Saturday. The woman's restroom sink faucets were unadjustable from the hot water. I ordered the $17.99 smoked then flash fried wings with 6 having dry rub and 6 having sweet Thai chili sauce. The dry rub was spicy. Different taste of the sweet Thai chili. I liked that they subbed celery for long, fresh carrots. I ate most of my appetizer and left with my takeout. Great service. The pepperoni & cheese sticks are perfect size, baked fresh & hot and also good cold for breakfast. The hummus plate is also my go to. The veg is very fresh. This was perfectly placed; right beside our hotel in Indy. Drove up to Indy for a Fever game and after the game wanted to grab a bite. Somewhere we could also watch the next wnba game coming on. Kilroys is consistently packed, but for good reason. The Long Island pitchers are a great way to start the night, the breadsticks are cheesy and just hit the spot. Surprisingly the strawberry fields salad was also delicious! It was fresh and flavorful. We were pleased to find this restaurant close to our hotel, the Omni Severin, so we had lunch here. We were boisterously and happily greeted by an employee standing at the front of the restaurant and told we could pick our own table. After taking notice of how clean the restaurant was and picking a table we sat down and were greeted by Kylie who took our drink orders. My wife had a Diet Coke and I had water to drink. We both noticed the eclectic choice of music, mostly country, but it varied between other genres. That's when we discovered the music was random sure to there being a jukebox as the music source. The place was also brightly decorated with lights and had TVs on the wall airing sports of random. I ordered a veggie wrap that had creamy roasted red repper hummus, crunchy sprouts, soft and creamy avocado, crunchy cucumber and soft and tangy feta cheese packed into a large tomato basil tortilla with fresh spinach and juicy, diced tomatoes. I had fresh fruit as my side. My wife had a bacon shroom burger with crispy Applewood bacon, sautéed mushrooms and melty Swiss cheese cooked medium. She chose a creamy, coarsely chopped and savory coleslaw. While my wife enjoyed the super juicy burger as well as the coleslaw. I had difficulty with the wrap. While all the other ingredients seemed fine, I had trouble with the sprouts. I had eaten sprouts before, but they must have been a different texture in the dish they were in because these did not taste good in the wrap. Chalking it up to having funny taste buds, I opted to have the server take it away and changed my dish to be a BLT. It had a double-stacked helping of crispy applewood smoked bacon, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes and creamy mayonnaise served on white bread. I liked the BLT much more than the wrap. The combination of mouthwatering crunchy bacon with all of the other ingredients was wonderful and tasted really good. I enjoyed the fresh and juicy fruit that came as my side. Got the wings -- Buffalo hot with blue cheese (wet, not dry rub). Delicious. They smoke them before frying and the flavor is amazing. I lived in Buffalo New York for five years and so I am a bit of a wing snob... I can tell you that these are some of the best wings I've ever had! My friend and I stop inside Kilroy's on a Saturday night. Parking is located on the street, however it's super busy in the weekends, so you may have to park a ways away. They do card before you go inside. On a Saturday night it's usually full with 21+ year olds. They have music and TVs on. Your typical bar, but in a larger scale. Service was still pretty quick and we were seated as soon as we came inside. I grabbed a wedge salad and the famous pepper and cheese stuff breadsticks. They're so hard to resist! My salad was amazing! My friend grabbed sliders, but unfortunately they lacked seasoning. July 1st, Indiana started allowing happy hour. Some friends and I popped into Kilroy's for a snack after finishing an escape room across the street. Since it was the middle of the afternoon we got a mostly empty restaurant that I imagine can be quite a lively sports bar atmosphere. Plenty of TVs and plenty of drink options! We ordered the well-known stuffed breadsticks and they did not disappoint. The cheese is melty and delicious and the bread flaky and tender. I also ordered a patty melt and my friend ordered a burger. The patty melt was a little disappointing as I prefer two thinner patties over one larger burger patty, but the flavors were all there. This was a combo spouse's birthday and father's day lunch that out daughter took us to at Kilroy's today. None of us had been before. I decided to try the pulled pork sandwich with the BBQ baked beans. It was good, but not outstanding. The brisket nachos arrived looking like a sad pile of disappointment that had been sitting out for hours. The meat was cold. The chips tasted stale and had this weird after taste. The salsa was a watery, vinegary mess that did nothing to enhance the dish. The guacamole was overly chunky, with large, unappetizing pieces of onion. These nachos were a textbook example of how not to do nachos. If it weren't for the pepperoni bread sticks, which were at least edible, we would've had to go to eat dinner at another restaurant. The service was quick. The atmosphere is a loud sports bar. All that is fine. I would still never return to Kilroy's because the food was just plain bad. read more

I haven't been to Kilroy's in years. I literally forgot how much I love their wings! It was extremely busy when we went and it seems to be first come first serve with tables (no host). There was a nice couple that offered us their table. Once we were sat our server was very good at checking back in with us, especially with the volume of people. Parking is hit and miss since this is the downtown location. My Long Island pitcher was great.. I remember when they use to be $5 on Wednesdays or something but now they are $14-$17.. sort of steep for one drink but it is decent size and mixed properly. Great place to grab drinks with friends, with the bonus of really good bar food. I have been here to grab drinks with friends on a few occasions. Definitely a joint for a younger crowd. A lot of recent college grads come here and to Brother's down the street. My most recent visit was for lunch after I mentioned that I wanted wings to a coworker. He hadn't tried the wings at Kilroy's either so we decided to try it out together. We showed up around 11:30am on a Tuesday and were able to seat ourselves at a small booth immediately. The menu said that eight wings come with each order. Then our waitress said that there are twelve with each order. And then we received sixteen wings each. The price was somewhere around $17-$18 which made more sense as the number of wings increased. I ordered half with their "hot" sauce and half with their "dry rub". Both were very flavorful and the wings were the type that you could eat without any sauce or seasoning and still find delicious. And these are not the tiny wings some places serve. Oh no, these are of the large variety. A very filling, tasty meal overall. I do wish the menu was updated so I knew how much food I was ordering. read more
