It's a cute store, lots of the typical items you'll see (I like), and even a good amount of decor (great for a small town), and even snacks and frozen pies. Now, the selection is not mighty, as they are pressed for space. Prices are not great, at least 30% higher than I find at my local shops. Service is as friendly as can be. It's all good.

I've been doing a lot of landscaping and lawn care on the front of my house this spring/summer and the closest Home Depot to me is an hour or more, so I've relied on them fairly heavily this year. The customer service is usually good. I have encountered employees here before who were less than stellar but for the most part, they greet you at the door and are always willing to help you. The store has gotten better at organizing their displays over the years but finding what you need can still be troublesome at times. As stated above, the employees are always on hand to help you out. I do wish they would implement contactless payment (Apple Pay). Not necessarily because of covid but because it's how I prefer to pay these days and they are one of the final hold outs in town integrating this.

Do you know what a challenge that can be when you live in a very small rural community and hour's drive from everywhere? Well knowing that there is a convenient, well stocked hardware store right here in town is wonderful. Our local True Value is huge and carries the most amazing variety of products for all types of home improvement. It is really like having a mini Lowe's right here in town but with friendly people who actually know where things are and how to use them. Not only do they carry the usual nuts and bolts and nails and tools, but they also carry arts and craft supplies. They also have a nice selection of seasonal items and decorative items. The store is open and well laid out. Most things seem to be shelved in logical groupings and if you can't find something, staff always know where to look. They are open seven days a week. Prices are higher than the big box stores, but the convenience of not having to drive for an hour makes it a great alternative.

I live really close, so it's really convenient to pop in for a bag of wood or other little trinkets I may need. I'll address the staff issue first, I've never ever ever had an issue with any of the employees here. They've all been very nice, very accommodating and very helpful. And I don't think it's just because I'm a familiar face, I honestly think that's just their ethic. There's been quite a few times that they don't have specific things that I need, and all the other hand, sometimes they have what other big box stores don't. So it's kind of a gamble. Generally the things they don't have, are for one of our houses that is super old. I've been an ace rewards member for probably close to 20 years. I'm constantly getting discounts via the app and coupons sent through the mail, and I've also been able to compound all of my rewards points, with other special offers. One time I came in here and I bought $40 worth of stuff, and with all the discounts, and knocked it down to just under 13 bucks! The best hardware store!…read more Sometimes I can find the apecial things I need that NONE of the big box stores stock, like 36" watter supply lines for a bathroom sink! That staff is always on point, helpful, greet you, the whole nine yards of customer service. They have that down to a science. I try to go here and support the local ownership, and the pies are magnificent. Online ordering for delivery or pickup is polished and fast. Bix box stores, take note.

I have always been greeted as I walked through the door and asked if I needed help finding anything. They take the time and effort to talk you through your project and they will help you find what you need. If they do not have what you're looking for, they will point you in the right direction of another hardware store! They are really friendly and helpful. Never had a bad experience here!

They have a wonderful kitchen section with all the little gadgets one needs in a kitchen, like can openers and spatulas. And of course they have some great pans for cooking on our little gas grill. They even carry lots of different spices to choose from. This place was a real gem in completing the things we needed for our camping trip.

Tho we did have some issues getting out of the lot as a car just decided to stop in the middle of the path and block our way. We honked a few times and they just sat there. I finally got out of the car to tell them to move. They then went into a parking spot before I got to the car. Why they had to sit in the middle of the road, I have no idea. It was very annoying.
