A WiFi light switch that he couldn't fix, and some recessed lights that needed replacing. I figured that he did not have the parts on his truck so I told him I could call the office and make an appointment. He told me it would be cheaper if he just went and did it today, so he went back to the office and got the parts. He came back and installed two replacement recessed lights in my kitchen. In the end, the entire job took 58 minutes so I was charged one hour plus parts. It didn't even come to $230. The best part though is the customer service! He went out to his truck and got a broom and dustpan to clean up after himself. I told him I appreciated it, but I could sweep. It's those fine details that make this the only electrician that I will do business with. As long as they are in business, they will have me as a customer.

Still, we were surprised, of course. Sorry, Yelp, my first thought was to check our neighborhood's Facebook group for recommendations. After two calls & no live person, I turned to Yelp, looking for electricians "open now". Sunrise had recently updated their Yelp listing with details and had a few good reviews, so I called them. Shelley answered the phone & was very helpful in assuring us that someone could come out that day. She took our information, and we did have to provide payment of $119 for the emergency service call. Communication was great afterward, which included both a text and phone call a couple hours later when our service tech was en route. Kevin actually arrived a bit earlier than the estimated arrival time and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. After looking at our main breaker box, he confirmed that it needed to be replaced, and that he would be able to replace it that day. He also advised that we would need a surge protector for the whole house, along with inspections & permits which he would be able to do as well for the quoted price. Many hours later, we had power again, with a new main breaker box. And I'm glad to have a house-wide surge protector. This was not a cheap repair/upgrade, and we were obviously unable to get other quotes or compare prices on a Sunday, but we're happy with the work done.

I called to request refund but they refused and threatened to give a lien to me. I called the police about this. It was an unauthorized work, they cannot charge me without a quote or consent.
