He also offered other suggestions that he thought we might be interested in. They had a pretty good selection but it did seem that there was very low availability in multiple pieces that we were considering. Ended up leaving with a beautiful twiggy and card holder. High end prices, low end service. This is the worse service I've ever experienced at any high end store. I ordered some shoes while I was visiting this location on vacation. I told the sales representative that we would be leaving town to head back home so send the shoes to my house. I gave her my mailing info. When I get back home the shoes never came. I tried calling the store. It's impossible to speak to anyone at this location. I reach the call center. She told me the shoes were sent to the store for me to pick up! I canceled the order with the call center representative. I sent a message to the corporate office and never received a response. What a surprise. My husband was expecting the shoes for Father's Day so I went online to order the same shoes along with an additional pair of shoes. I received two pair of shoes yesterday, which I was expecting to be my order. Wrong! The Chicago location never canceled my order like I asked them to! They sent the pair of shoes anyway after I already ordered them from online. I'm still waiting for the second pair of shoes that I ordered online. Now I have to fight with them to return the pair that I canceled. It's starting to look like Louis Vuitton needs to invest in better quality management, service and competent customer and sales representatives. I had a worst experience on this store. The customer service of this store was horrible. I went to accompany with my sister to get a new LV bag. While she was deciding on which purse she would purchased, one purse had caught my attention. I've asked a sales lady for the price because there was no price tag on the bag. It took her a while to look at me. When she finally did, she told me to step back. I'm a proud owner of a few LV bags, but the way this sales lady treated me, I really don't want to be! She was very rude, and the way she told me to, "Step back," motioned her hand as if she was shooing me away, then scan the bag or do whatever she had to do to check the price was very unprofessional! I wanted to get that bag, but I ended up going to Chanel to buy a bag there...I really wish I knew the name of that sales lady! She needs to take up a training on "Customer service," so she can be better in this profession! I'm not saying customer is always right, but when a customer, (like me), ask for a price of a certain bag, don't shoo them away...I think we were there at around 7PM, (on December 29, Monday), I don't wish for this sales lady to lose her job or anything bad, but I do wish that she gets trained in "Customer service!" Jason the store manager is an awful addition to this store. I came in person today to address an issue I was experiencing from a package I picked up about two weeks ago from the new LV collab. When I picked up my purse the bag was dented, box broken, no ribbon, and my limited edition stickers were missing. Jason said he'd follow up with me and corporate but never got back to me. When I came in today he was defensive and hostile. Another associate, a minority, tried to address my concerns and was very helpful but Jason kept stepping in talking over him even when I asked him not to. Jason also put his finger in my face and made me feel very unsafe as a woman. I asked if I could have some perfume samples (because corporate told me I could) and Jason told me, with attitude, all he had was male samples and brought me that. Never offered to order me female ones. Jason raised his voice and was just overall professional. Corporate confirmed my stickers were in the box, and I told Jason that. His defensive to me suggests he either took it or someone in store did. Either way, piss poor experience. I'll never come back. read more

More like Ig-nord strom, because whenever Barbie sees a Vuitton store, she walks in the other direction. This is a Louis Vuitton store inside the North Bridge shops which is a very fancy high-rise shopping mall just off of Michigan in downtown Chicago. Nordstrom itself is one of the higher end of the department stores but nothing compared to a Louis Vuitton which is a brand that Bobby hates and literally charges 3 to 4 times the average bag price, for some strange print bags. I said Barbie, but apparently my voice dictation thinks I date someone named Bobby. I don't think even if we had the money to buy Louis Vuitton bags that we would really be buying them all too regularly. But the people in here were nice and it was eerily quiet so I felt bad for them. Hopefully they don't get paid on commission because it doesn't seem to be the busiest store. I wonder is Nordstrom going to make it a thing now? Are they going to be adding Louis Vuitton stores to a lot of their department stores? Is that how they think they can stay relevant? In the huge sea of constant disappointment when it comes to my experiences with Louis Vuitton, the boutique at LV Nordstrom is a shining light! Frantically searching for over a week, to find a specific item from the Holiday Vivienne collection, all I kept running up against was no online inventory anywhere in the world and only a handful of stores in the US showing availability.....but nothing near me. So a normal person would think no big deal, I'll just call the store But here's the catch.......although you think you're calling a local store, every single, individual, LV boutique phone number routes you to their main 800 number and they refuse to put you in touch with the store and given there is no available online inventory, and they refuse to connect you with the place that *has* the inventory, well, there you go. You can see the availability but there is literally no way to obtain the item unless you live nearby & can make a mad dash over there before someone else snags it. Can you sense my frustration? (because I'm not trying to hide it) Well, frustration has turned into elation.......I called the Nordstrom switchboard, who put me through to the LV boutique voicemail system & this was the closest I got to connecting to an actual store so I took a chance & left a message........they actually called me back within 24 hrs and they still had the item I was seeking! My service advisor called down to the department to have them set my item aside, so no one could get it while I was trying to complete my purchase which was a fantastic customer service touch......guaranteed it was waiting for me! Then he took all my info over the phone & texted me to confirm everything went through & then I got the official email order confirmation. So thank you to the staff at the LV Nordstrom boutique for checking your vm & contacting potential customers & making their Vivienne dreams come true. Walked in today with the intention of picking up another bottle of L'IMMENSITÉ and some samples of the new spring scents and was not greeted, was not spoken to... was not even acknowledged. Wow. My cousin and I were in the store for at least 10 minutes before we loudly asked "IS ANYBODY ON THE CLOCK? GUESS NOT" before we just walked out! There were literally 3 SA's in the store, one was helping someone else, but the other two just stood at the men's back counter speaking amongst themselves... Extremely unprofessional. Short review. Was at Nordstrom yesterday and saw LV. I wanted to go in take a look and possibly purchase the classic tote they have. There was a line and there was a lady whom you had to check in with. She asked what am I looking for and then said there is an hour and 15 mins of a wait to get in. It was very hard to understand her as it seemed she was mumbling. There was no facial expression on her whatsoever and that the initial customer service and attitude you are looking for from LV. The check in experience was more like a drive through with her attitude. she told me the wait time and took my number to call or text when they are ready. I said ok. Guess what? When I asked if she could check on locations having it in stock she refused and told me it wouldn't be. It's disappointing when you get that sales associate on the phone - so unhelpful... My experience here seems to be opposite of many others. I purchased a key cles online and upon delivery decided I wanted a monogram one instead. I decided to exchange in store. I called LV customer service and they assured me both the Nordstrom and Mich Ave locations had the item I wanted in stock. Great. So after driving around for 10 mins, got a parking spot not too far away from Nordstrom and walked into the LV store. There was a customer checking out, so I just got in line behind him as I knew exactly what I wanted and wasn't there to browse. A cute older SA noticed me (Tony maybe? Tommy? can't remember his name), smiled and walked over and asked what I needed. Told him I wanted to exchange my damier ebene cles for a monogram one. He was kinda like, oh shit we had 3 yesterday but think they all sold. Ugh. He went back to double check and they were indeed sold out. He then pulled out his LV iPad and noticed that the Mich Ave store currently had 3. He contacted his friend Trent at the other location and had him put it on hold for me. I mentioned how I just paid for parking and wondered aloud if I should walk or just drive. He suggested I walk as parking could be a pain and gave me directions from the store on the best route to get there. I thanked him and left. After I walked out of the store and turned a corner, I apparently went the wrong direction as Tony/Tommy ran after me and said I was going the wrong way. I told him my lazy ass was not going to walk to Mich Ave and was headed towards my car. This was my first experience in a LV store as I typical make my purchases online. The customer service I experienced was great and was what I'd expect from a luxury brand. Plus I walked in only carrying a mere $200 Madewell bag. Not sure why others here feel that they should be treated differently/better in store bc they have LV on their arms, but ok. I'd say give this location a shot. And if you do, make sure to ask for Tony/Tommy! And if I completely made his name up, look for an older, cute SA with a British accent. read more

My husband bought me a $2,800 purse for my birthday from this location. Louie Vuitton discontinued the purse I had been wanting so he asked about their return policy in case I wanted to return or exchange the one he picked out. I decided I didn't love the purse and went back to return it. When we went to return the purse we encountered JUAN. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and seemed very uninterested in helping us. He displayed the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I live in Lakeview with two other locations extremely close to me but I just prefer the way that I am treated and helped here more than any other locations. I hate trying on so many bags at luxury stores esp during the holidays when it's so crowded. I'd rather just get the bag I want and go. I live near Michigan Ave but this smaller store in Nordstrom is closer so I decided to come here. I called beforehand to make sure they had the speedy I wanted in stock and the lady on the phone was super nice. When I went to the store, the beginning service was not great. They have multiple entrances but 3 of them are shut off. Why? This makes no sense and it seems like they want you to wait in line or something to enter the store. Anyway, apparently you go into the entrance from the side. Again, it's just kind of awkward. When I did get service, it was good. The lady was nice and provided fast service. She also approached me which I appreciate. I didn't catch her name. Everyone was nice despite me looking not so put together. I just live across the street and am not going to dress up to shop. I'm not sure why people perceive they received bad service because of how they were dressed/looked. No one treated me with disrespect. First of all, I walk in and no one offers to help me. It was me who had to walk up to someone to ask for help. And he rudely told me that it was the only one left. So he gave me different numbers of different stores to call that had it. So happy! Was at Michigan Ave store and bought a speedy (love)! When was leaving another happy customer asked what I got and showed me her purse, I noticed right away what I assumed was her initials engraved. I wasn't going back to Michigan Ave! They sent email to Nordstrom location and nice girl (sorry didn't get name) said I could bring them in! I brought in on Monday about 5:15 and Sydney Taylor greeted me with a smile, went over my options and said be ready in an hour! Wow! Then Bryan Dominguez smiled and said yes, he would do now. Hour later I am back and looks so cute and now personal! I know this is not World problems, but I would definitely go back to them at Nordstrom location any day over Michigan Ave! Firstly, buying a LV is extremely pretentious BUT it's what the wife has been wanting. A week before Valentines Day and I take my ass all the way into Chicago, from the suburbs, to get this bag. I get to the store and it's not in stock. No problem, like any business of substantial quality, I should be able to order the item, at the store, and have it delivered to my house. After waiting at the store for 20 minutes for JUAN to place an order, because of the 10+ employees standing around, he's the genius who can only place the order. I tell him the exact bag I need, he seems to have some difficulty locating the screen to order and FINALLY tells me to swipe my card. I start by inserting my AMEX, which gets a security denial, that's cool, the company is looking out for number 1. But even after the phone call to authorize the purchase, still get a denial. After a dozen attempts, I'm like I'll try a different card. Same shit, I'm like WTF?! This is starting to embarrass me because I'm looking like a broke ass ninja who can't afford this damn purse. JUAN, is no help aside from saying, "Try it again"...At this point I'm thinking the stores system is the damn issue. I pull out my wallet, because I'm like fuck it, I'll just pay the $1600 in cash and JUAN says, "Try it again", for the 20th time. But I say, I'm just gonna try it as debit, which it finally goes through. So on top of this headache, I get an email two days later telling me my purchase is ready for pick up at the store....I call the store, DIRECTLY, and the silly ass broad who answers says, let me contact the store to see if they can ship it to you, because it is here, in the city. I'm like, contact the store?!?! YOU ARE THE STORE! She gets back on and says it'll be about 48 hours for a reply, or you can just come pick it up. YES KAREN!! That's what I want to do, spend 2 hours in traffic, pay another $40 to park in your garage, to pick up an overpriced piece of dead cow because you people are too inept to do your damn job. I'll start with what went well. The actual physical repair looks amazing...it's like I have a brand new bag! Very happy with that part of the service. What was extremely frustrating is that I brought my bag into the LV store inside Nordstrom in Chicago on 1/19. The woman told me it would be 6 weeks before my item was back in the store. I grumbled that 6 weeks sounded too long and explained that I needed it back before my vacation on March 5th. She repeated that it would be 6 weeks maximum, which, would bring us to March 3rd. I agreed and handed my bag over. About a week prior to March 3rd I called the store to ask if my bag was in. I waited on hold for over 15 minutes only to be connected to a call center that told me the status of the repair hadn't been updated in weeks but the gentleman said he would call me when it was. He called me a day or so later on 3/1 telling me the back had been shipped and it would arrive by Friday 3/3. I called on Friday 3/3 and the woman at the call center said the bag had not arrived yet but likely would by the next day. I called on 3/4 and the woman from the call center said "No idea when it will arrive. Probably won't be for another few weeks." I asked to speak with someone from the store and after a few minutes I was transferred over. The woman was rude right away and hardly let me explain that I was quoted 6 weeks. She replied, "Well, that's not true because we would never say 6 weeks because it's 6-8 weeks." She then looked up who I worked with and told me, "She is one of our most senior people and never would have said 6 weeks." Well, she did. And now you are calling me a liar. I told her I was unhappy with her service and she told me she couldn't do anything for me because they quoted 6-8 weeks and we were still in the time frame. I was shocked at how rude she was. 2 weeks later I got a call from the store that my bag had arrived, just 1 day over the 8 week mark. I came into the store and paid full price for my repair even though the service was awful. No one at their call center knows how long it takes for bags to arrive and there is no tracking on the packages. That is absurd to me. I submitted the review above directly to LV when they sent me an email saying, "How was your experience?" It's been 5 months and I have heard nothing. I can't believe they would ask for feedback and then do nothing with it. If I ever shop at LV again it won't be at this location. read more
