I was lied to, lied abt, cheated of my therapy days/time, not bathed or showered, forced to endure untreated UTI, left to wet myself then blamed for it, stuff always disappearing(including my Bible, hearing aids and teeth!), manipulated by narcissist staff, ignored, not given my mail, not allowed a phone, TV never worked right so I could never really watch it and nobody would fix it, made to stay in my room, denied vaccinations, handled roughly when I could get somebody to help, friends couldn't see or even reach me! Turns out my family was in cahoots with the staff thinking I'd lived long enough (90+yrs!) and deserved to be punished. thought I was going to die here until God had mercy.

My friend was left in soiled diaper multiple times. His food was cold and the meat was not at proper health department guidelines. His meds were also wrong several times. I had to call in to complain about his care. The manager was responsive and the problem nurse was removed from his team. They can do better. The level of care is beyond subpar: nurses administrating wrong medication, nurse administrating medication not properly, N/A's not responding to call lights in a reasonable time, staff lying to family members, and to people in official capacity. My family member was there for less than 72 hours. Day two: I witness the daytime attending black nurse, in the 200 hall, leaving someone else's pill cup on my family's bed tray. The same nurse came in to give him his breathing treatment while he was on his bedpan. When he told her he could not multitask, she left the treatment plugged into the wall oxygen, placed it behind his head, saying it would be ready there when he was done. I reacted by informing her, "you cannot do that. He needs that treatment as he has had a bronchoscopy and leaving the treatment connected to the wall "on", will have the liquid evaporate" to which she responded with "I have other patients" and left the room. Day Two: My family members fell out of his bed at 2 am in the morning and could not get up. He laid there yelling until his roommate hit the call button. The facility did not notified anyone in the family. When my family member called me at 3:15 pm the next afternoon to tell me that he fell, the n/a took his phone to tell me that he was confused and did not fall. I responded with I am coming, get ready and hung up. She then proceeded to his cell phone four times to inform me that he was confused and that he did not fall, each time I told her I am coming. However, the n/a's story was not the case. Upon my arrival, I walked into his room with my family member hunched over on a walker, on the edge of the bed, with his needed v pap unplugged and the headset missing that 4 aides could not account for. My family member asked for a ambulance and they did not comply. My family member called the police to which the faculty lied to by dismissing my family members mental competent status. This place should be shut down. If you go on the site of Pro. This place proves that not all rehabilitation centers are the same. Be very wary of this place. If I could give this place a negative 20, I would. Everyone working there is in on their a scam. If their mouth is moving, everything said should be scrutinized. I did report them to the State of Michigan and the State was able to substantiate some of my concerns. Failure to report abuse. Failure to report a fall.
