If I could award more than five stars to Lou's, I would. Joe and his staff were superior in every way. By far the BEST autobody repair shop I've used in the past 40 years. They kept me updated on the progress, assisted me with filing my claim and arranging a rental car. My car came back beautifully detailed, which is quite an accomplishment because I have two dogs and live on the beach. I feel like I'm driving a brand new car. The entire process was simple and painless with Lou's. It's a family business, and Joe would make his grandfather proud with his excellence in customer service and skill. They were trustworthy and their pricing was fair and reasonable. If anyone has the misfortune of needing a body shop, you don't have to look anywhere else. read more

First time getting work done at Lou's and couldn't be happier! Best car shop around!! Joe was absolutely amazing and more helpful than I could have expected! Got in an accident and my car was allegedly totaled but with the help of Lous I was able to get it fully fixed in a timely manner, and completely covered! When I picked up my vehicle it was like a brand new van! My door, bumper, tire, and side panel got very damaged and now you would have no idea! I was involved in an accident and the police officer offered to call a tow truck. When it arrived and brought me to his place of business, I immediate felt dirty and disgusted by this dump of a business. The place is small, beneath notice, and ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! I can't believe I was letting them fix my car but I was still out of sorts from the accident that I just wasn't thinking. The people there were pleasant and they did , I was surprised that they repaired my car..I thought for sure the hicks were going to come out with some red-neck drawl to tell me how they couldn't handle the job. They did, of course, pollute the inside of my car with their foul odor and I had to get a complete detailing to rid my car of their stink. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this dirty, grimy dump to anyone!! They had footwear, toys, and other things I couldn't identify lying around without a care for customers to see! This is unacceptable. Last time I had to use an auto body it was AutoTec in Abington and this is where I should have gone and will always go again. My son's friend got PC'd by Rockland Police Friday night. Her car was in the old AAA building on Hingham Street. It was towed and impounded by Lou's Auto Body. She went to Lou's both Friday and Saturday several times, left them numerous messages. There was never anyone at Lou's. She also called Rockland Police several times to find out how to get her car and to complain that they were not open and if they had another number she could call. They did not. Today she finally gets them on the phone. They inform her she also needs to pay for two days storage fees. When she complained that that was not fair because they were not open, they informed her there was someone there both days. I was with her several times when she went there and no one was there. read more

I had my car fixed at Lou's Auto Body and I have to say the did an excellent job. The owner said they would fix it and will would make sure that I was satisfied with the work. We did find something after they were done and I called them and the owner told me to bring it back, they fixed the problem and didn't charge me. Their service was excellent and the quality of work was second to none. I would / have recommended people. I live approx. 30 miles from their shop and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
