I had just left work and accidentally left my wallet in my girlfriends car so I was panicking. I passed this small auto shop and pulled in! I was greeted right away by a very friendly gentlemen who told me he didn't have an electronic Siphon tool but he would do it the old fashion way for me at no charge! After he finished removing the bad gasoline I thanked him repeatedly (he litterally saved me huge money on a blown motor) he asked where I was going I said I'm gonna push it a crossed the street and see if I can ask a few people for pocket change till I get enough to fill the tank which was about 3 dollars! He shakes his head and says wait here! Comes back with a dollar and says it won't get you all the way but it's a start honestly this kind of generosity and human empathy is so rare theese days! Jim is honest and that is hard to find at times. I have had him fix my car a few times over the…read morelast two years and each time I feel like the information he provides is honest. My first visit was had to do with a leak, he let me know that I needed to replace the part and it cost two hundred and something dollars. He then stated that was outrageous for that part and if I could give him a little time he would be able to find a used one that would work just as good. He also patched the hole at no cost for the time in between. When he did find a part it's total cost was 37 dollars!! He could have charged me a lot more and still save me money but he did not, and that is great service. He oversaw a purchase recently and let us know what would need to be done for the van to be useable and what we should reasonably expect from this purchase. He recently told my sister that her car was no good and he did not want to keep fixing things on it know it was going to keep breaking down. It just appears that he has the best kind of work ethic he wants to keep customers based on a trusting relationship. What more can you ask from someone who is responsible for your safety.

They do have a nice place to get coffee, but not much of a place to sit and relax and no other food places there. It looks like they might have been adding more onto the property, but hard to tell when everything was covered in snow (it is Maine in Feb, can't expect much else!!)
