I was very…read morepleased when I received a quote over the phone for 60K service work from Tires Too that was significantly less than quotes I received from other businesses in the area. There was no hard sell for unnecessary work either, which was refreshing. They had room in their schedule for my car within a couple of days of my call. I dropped the car off at 8:45 a.m. and was told that it would likely be ready by noon or 1:00. I arrived at noon and ended up waiting until 2:30. Then I got the bill, which was more than double what I had been quoted on the phone. When I asked about that, I was told that they were sorry, but some of their employees answering the phone were new and the one I had spoken to had failed to include labor in the quote. I can say that the employees I spoke to were unfailingly polite and the waiting room was comfortable and pleasant. Thus far, the car seems to be in good shape from the service it received (see the update below - one problem has not been fixed). I knocked one star off my rating for the longer than expected wait - I would have gotten a ride back that arrived later had I known it would take that long. I knocked off two stars for sticker shock when the work was done and there was no offer on the part of Tires Too to adjust the bill in any way because of a major error on their part. Caveat emptor: Get your estimate in writing from these guys! Update: One of the things I asked Tires Too to take care of during the appointment above was to see why the tire pressure monitoring system dashboard light kept coming on. I had topped off the tires several times before bringing the car in, but none seemed to need much and I couldn't figure out which one was leaking. Things seemed good for a couple of days after I picked up the car from Tires Too, but the light came on again today. The problem is obviously not fixed and I will have to bring the car in to someone else to take care of it. I'm knocking off another star for that.

So, I did. We had a long discussion, during which Farooq asked all the right detailed questions, so that he had a clear idea of what I wanted, and what I didn't want. To me, this is an extremely important step to ensure that everybody is on the same page for what was going to be done, with no surprises at the end. During the project, Farooq and his team kept me updated on their progress, including sending me a large number of in-process photos depicting each step in the process. When the project was complete, I had exactly what I wanted. Farooq and his team are extremely experienced professionals in the work that they perform. I will say, however, if you are looking for a 'deal' or 'discounted' work, then Go Auto is not for you. Top quality work costs money, so if you are looking for top quality work, then you need to be prepared to pay for it. I wholeheartedly recommend Go Auto for folks who are interested in installing performance mods on their vehicles.

Trans blew 2k miles later costing me $10k at sheps and when I had the new shop go through the car, everything that was touched by go auto had issues. Leaking coolant line, spark plugs not torqued to spec, tune was very rich causing issues etc etc I found 40+ owners in the area after going to go auto and come to find out it's just a money grab shop with mediocre level work and the shop cars are all the owners personal cars and he even mechanics lien someone's car out from under them and sold to his brother. Just too much shady stuff going on to let it slide. I would recommend avoiding at all cost.

So consider that if any of these reviews are old. This is now one of those shops that don't want to actually do labor and try to fix things, but rather just replace everything with new parts. They told me my car needed a lot more than it really did. Their alleged price for parts was out of this world. I asked what their labor rate was and was told they didn't know. The guy who helped me at the counter, and worked on my car shouldn't deal with customers. There were also about half a dozen people just standing around eating pizza. Maybe their high costs reflect running a heavy crew? Came here because I thought it would be quick and convenient. Ended up sucking it up and actually making an appt elsewhere and my car was fixed for less than half Towne Lube Express quoted me. My personal opinion is this is a "drive in" "convenient" state inspection place that feels like once they have your car they have the upper hand. Don't be passive and just accept their quote. Don't be bullied. Now I am VERY curious what happens to this place after January 2026 when allegedly New Hampshire stops requiring inspection stickers. Enjoy just doing oil changes for the people too busy to make appointments elsewhere!
