I tried researching online on my own, but every company's site required me to answer *many* questions before it would give a quote, and I didn't know if I was checking with *all* available insurance providers. (Turns out I wasn't.) As it happened, I came across an article about finding insurance, and it recommended contacting an *independent* insurance broker, and that led me to finding Avail Insurance Solutions. Avail wound up finding a renter's insurance provider and one for earthquake coverage; the combined premiums totaled about the same as what my new, higher rate would have been for renters coverage only. So, I'm very happy with Avail's service.

Recently, my insurer drastically increased my rates without informing me why and the only way to address this was to work with Brian. I got in touch with the office and expressed my interest in getting this corrected or having other options before my policy renewed and managed to get Brian on the phone to discuss. He promised I would receive options or a solution by the next business day. I never heard back. I ended up switching to a different insurer (not through avail) and it took multiple attempts to get Avail to cancel my old policy. I think of the whole point of working with an agent is to get better service than dealing directly with an insurer -- with Avail that was certainly not the case.

I tried to set up auto payment on your website to get my $10 credit and just could not do it. I received a renewal invoice stating that if I sign up for auto renewal, I would save $10. But because I have been a member since XXXXX, I guess I got the $10 credit decades ago and do NOT qualify for it again. The invoice was NOT clear! The employee could not get me my $10 credit, so I just paid my $$ and left. Atmosphere - Still a new-looking location. Plenty of parking. Open 6 days a week from 9am to 5pm or 6pm. Closed Sundays. Service - 5 stars, my favorite AAA branch. Rarely any customers. No need for appointments, just walk-in. I waited less than 5 minutes. Price - $300, was able to pay via credit card... Cut and pasted from their website as this was VERY confusing: "DMV transactions accept credit/debit cards and cash, insurance transactions accept debit cards, cash and checks, and all other transactions accept credit/debit cards, cash and checks for payment."
