I didn't find my dress but will be coming back in Sept when shops get new lines in. (I have a year and a half:) The dresses were gorgeous!!! They have a rack with your name written on a cute chalkboard and a cool runway for you to stand on to show off your dress. It's surrounded by mirrors so you can see all angles of the gown. They had a decent selection though no bridesmaid dresses. The gowns were more elegant than simple. Think lots of beading, sparkly , detailed gowns. No plain , simple dresses. So know going in if that's what you are looking for...you won't find that here. This is for you glamour girls or ones wanting to make more of a statement than be modest or classic. I not only found my dress at this amazing shop, but it was a discontinued dress that was offered at a discounted price, making it fall within my tight budget constraints. It is staffed very well by nice, caring cashiers and some know the inventory better than others. The owners and managers consign and price items very well. I shop there a lot - consigning name brand outgrown clothes and equipment and buying clothes, shoes, toys and equipment for 3 kids for the last 5 years and I have high standards. You need to shop often and go in person. Don't expect service over the phone. There are no guarantees. You are buying used, granted gently used, but used items. The owners care about their regular customers and will go the extra mile, but remember where you're shopping.

I've encountered the owner at several conferences over the years and she always has lots of stock, good prices and the best service. This trip was for a possible member to-be (and of course I picked-up something for myself.) I specifically wanted a pink and green Dashiki. I picked one up for myself, as I found myself without anything to wear for our Black History Month event last month. I'm 5'4" and can wear a L, but normally order an XL. If a L fits perfectly, I normally size-up, because I prefer a loose fit. I ordered the Dashiki for myself in an XL and it fits very comfortably across my chest. It does, however, run long -- I can wear this as a dress or with leggings or a slim pant. I also ordered a green track pullover and matching pants. The quality is top-notch, a beautiful vivid green. Again the fit is very comfortable across my chest. The sleeves are long and I will need to fold the top under. I will need to have the pants cut by at least 4-6", but I love the quality. I'll deal with the sizing issues, because I haven't found a track suit like this in a while. My last favorite track suit came from our centennial conference back in 2008! I don't worry about sizing issues for my gift, because I know this person will be able to exchange, if necessary. This authorized vendor has been in business for years, and will continue to provide quality apparel and accessories with outstanding customer service.
