From the start, she brought order, warmth, and expertise to every step of the planning process. She was thorough on every phone call, making sure no detail was overlooked, and always followed up with clear documentation so we felt fully prepared and at ease. When we needed candles for the reception, she didn't just point us in a direction, she tapped into her wholesale connections and placed the order herself. That kind of initiative was incredibly helpful. On the day itself, Cari was everything we could have hoped for. She was incredibly responsive, on top of every moving piece, and made the entire day run so smoothly. She set up everything beautifully and went above and beyond to help us pull it all together and then clean it all up at the end of the night. We received so many compliments from friends and family about how perfectly everything came together, and people made an effort to tell us that they thought her work was fantastic. Throughout the planning process, Cari was friendly, responsive and seemed genuinely invested in helping everything go smoothly. We felt confident and supported in the few weeks before the event. However, one of the biggest issues was regarding the deposit. I was sent Zelle information from Cari which is where the deposit was sent. I had informed Cari when the deposit was submitted but the next day received many frantic calls and emails from her stating her email was hacked and it was not where the deposit needed to go. She apologized and reassured this had never happened before, but instead of taking accountability it felt that she was blaming me for her information not being secure. I had informed her I would wait until my bank got back to me about the payment refund to submit the remaining balance, but instead I was sent an email that she would need to cancel our date due to the deposit not being paid in time. After reaching out to her she explained because she had not heard back or received payment, that she would need to cancel. I thought it was odd considering the situation, and thought she would give us some grace with the deposit. Regardless, I unfortunately sent an additional payment that same day to keep our scheduled date. We never got the deposit back. Unfortunately, our experience on the wedding day did not meet the expectations that had been set. Several details that we discussed beforehand were either missed or not executed as planned, which resulted in added stress for us and our families. The ceremony walk through was The largest complication for me was that the vendor list did not have the correct address to the venue. This would have been fine, however Cari also went to a different venue making her set up time later than expected. We arrived 30 minutes later than expected to cocktail hour and I was not made aware of the address issue until we arrived at the parking lot of our venue and my sister and photographer were at the wrong venue. When I called Cari her response to me was "Yeah, I also went to the wrong address. But I did send you guys the vendor list to confirm the address". We had many meetings regarding venue and set up and she was in contact with the venue coordinator as well, so I acknowledge that we should have corrected the address on the email, but we assumed it was correct since we discussed drop-off locations and initial conversations being at the correct address. We also thought if she knew it was the wrong address, we would have loved her to reach out to everyone and explain the mistake immediately so that no one else would also be late. She had also recommended we move our cocktail up sooner for the flow of the ceremony to reception dinner, so we moved from 6-7pm to 5-6pm. We also had an additional person available for table set up with the venue reserved, and when asked Cari confirmed we would not need the additional help so we cancelled this option. On the day of, we arrived 30 minutes later than expected to cocktail hour with her still setting up. According to our guests that arrived on time, nothing was ready when they got there. After 15 minutes since arriving, the table set up was incorrect, the seating chart was laid out flat on a table due to wind, people were sitting inside at their tables already, no music playing, the outdoor lay out was incorrect, and our photographer was at a different location. Another thing to note was that there was no conversation on how the cocktail and other tables were to be set up so I had sent photos for reference just in case the week before. I was a little disappointed that these little details were not confirmed in advance. Afterwards, there were also other minor issues that could have been avoided with better planning as well, but these were the bigger issues. It was unfortunate to hear from my friends and family that they noticed these issues as well, and were checking in on how I was feeling throughout the reception, which is not something you want your guests to notice. We found ourselves addressing issues that we expected would have been managed by Cari taking away from our ability to fully enjoy the day. Her start time was not until the afternoon as well, so the morning was open to confirming and finalizing details if needed. While we appreciate the effort and professionalism shown during the planning stages, the day-of coordination itself fell short of what we anticipated. Ultimately we were disappointed that the execution did not match the level of preparation and confidence established beforehand. We also did not hear from her afterwards until one week later after I reached out to confirm our certificate was submitted (she offered to do). A sincere apology would have been appreciated. I hope this feedback is helpful for future couples and provides an opportunity for improvement for Cari and her team.

Whenever there's a wedding, there is stress around the Planning. Joe took that away. Anything I needed or wanted he was accommodating. Truly a professional. His staff was top-notch. The guests are still talking about how great the food was. It made our event go from amazing, to spectacular!!! I wish I had taken a picture of the food, but I'll post some later when I get the photographer pictures. You can't go wrong with command performance.

    While the food and service were very good, I was very put off that that due to this caterer being…read morethe only option we had at Maravilla, Command Performance refuses to give couples a complimentary trial tasting of dishes (to make selections for their event). I have hosted many events at clubs and venues-and a tasting is always included-in fact they WANT you to do tastings so you chose exactly what you want for your event. However-when they are the only option at a venue, Command Performance will not offer you that trial/complimentary tasting-in fact they charge $300 for the couple and $150 per person added to that. BUT-if they are one of several caterers offered at a venue-THEN they will offer free tastings to those couples. We know this, as our friends son was married at the Gerry, and Command Performance gave them a lovely complimentary tasting. And because we did not want to risk upsetting the caterer before my daughter's wedding, I did not voice how outraged I was/am by this, and waited until after the wedding. When we have another event, Command Performance will not be a vendor we will consider.

We saw as she handled more difficult personnel with poise. She also anticipated our needs (e.g., made sure we ate) and asked us questions well before the day of the wedding. We were completely comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our wedding. She even asked questions we had not thought of (e.g., cards for those taking photos with us). I forgot my garter and she went and brought ribbon to make one. What a gem! Our families noticed her hard work and ask for her information and we quickly provided them with that. We will definitely be recommending Kelly as a wefding coordinator!!! You will not regret it.

My husband and I had planned most of the wedding and we were looking for someone that could help us in the week leading up to the wedding and on the day of. I found Kelly through Craigslist and her price was really affordable. Given that we had a large wedding, Kelly also brought on two wedding assistants to help with the multiple events on the wedding day. From the moment I spoke with Kelly on the phone, I really appreciated her professionalism, attention to detail and her down to earth personality. After explaining the details our wedding, I was pretty confident she could do the job. Leading up to the wedding we met and finalized the details with her. She coordinated our wedding rehearsal and we gave her all the DIY decor, candy and other supplies for her to set up the day of the wedding. It was nice to know I didn't have to worry about decorating and little details like that the day of the wedding! On the day of the wedding, Kelly took the lead to setting up the venue and one of her assistants helped us with the setup and breakdown of our Chinese tea ceremony. The wedding venue and the decor at the reception looked beautiful when I saw it. Kelly did an amazing job of setting up. For the ceremony and the reception, I was confident that things were being taken care of. Kelly would come by and offer us anything that we needed and I appreciated how she helped packed everything up after the wedding was over so it was easy to take home. It was all very seamless. Looking back, if I had to comment on areas of improvement, I would say I wish Kelly had reminded me of things I probably forgotten to think about. For example, we had forgotten to give her our gift card and envelope box for the registration table (my parents had it in the back of their car) and guests were confused about where to leave the cards. I didn't realize it was missing till after the wedding and I thought that would be one forgotten detail that would have been pretty noticeable. Also during the reception, when some issues did occur, there were times where we couldn't find the wedding assistants or Kelly. Given that it was a big wedding, I understand they could have been monitoring everything behind the scenes, but we hoped that we could have had more access to them. Even with these minor issues, all in all the event ran successfully! Our wedding day was perfect enough for us. The love, excitement and pure joy I see as I look through my wedding photos makes me realize how successful we were in accomplishing what we wanted to do: get married! =D Thank you for being part of our big day Kelly!
