There are other awesome peeps there, but these are the ones I know. Planning a wedding? A class reunion? An anniversary party for your folks? Helping your favorite non-profit plan a fundraiser? You can benefit not only from their experience and expertise, but also from their big ol' brain, full of cool ideas. That big bank of ideas is backed up by a huge, amazing warehouse full of treasures! Western party? Check. But you'd expect that in Oklahoma. Just keep walking. Disco party, astronaut party? Aliens, wild animals? Dorothy, Alice in Wonderland. Time travel, Victorian, tons of rustic chic. 80s. Loads of midcentury. Lots of cool props that actually work. In short, I left there with enough Yelper party ideas to keep me in this gig until I'm 70. Seriously though: amazing props and features. Beautiful linens and all manner of lovely tabletop and glassware. Centerpieces and lighting of your dreams. But none of that would matter, if it weren't for the people who work there. Katie Johnson our event rep has been amazing every single time. She makes everything run smoothly and helps us shine in front of our board. The food was good. This review is specifically for the Valentine's Day cocktail party event…read more The venue, music, and food were all lovely. I didn't try a single food item that wasn't delicious. However, the price tag was completely unreasonable for what was provided. $125 apiece and only included half a glass of champagne. We ordered two additional glasses of wine, a cocktail and two beers for another $60 plus tip, bringing our total for the night to over $300 for two. The dining experience, however delicious, was not worth $300, especially to not have individualized meals or service. The tables were not comfortable to hang out at after dinner. I would not recommend the event to anyone at that price. To better reflect the experience, I would put the price at $75 and no more than $100 apiece. $125 would have been slightly more reasonable had it been open bar, but as stated, it was not.
