Tail of Success - The first time we've been able to take Franklin in a public space in years. Ray helped build our confidence and skills to get to this point!

And we did the homework. The homework was well worth it. Everything that he taught us to do helped our dogs get better at listening and behaving with one another. I still refer to the notes I took during our first meetings to help these doggies be the best that they can be.

100% satisfied with Tail of Success! We have Jazz a Boxer running a muck at home. I spoke with Ray…read moreabout training and he referred me to his Bakersfield trainer Jay Garber. I was specific of all the areas of concerns with Jay during the evaluation. He recommended four sessions for Jazz. At first I thought no way will this Boxer be corrected with four sessions. To my surprise I quickly learned otherwise. First session Jay addressed the running out the front door when opened. Jazz immediately obeyed Jay and myself. So impressive! Second session we needed Jazz to sit on his bed during breakfast & dinner. While his owner in a wheelchair enjoys his meals. Jay accomplished that in half the session. Third session was walking. Being able to keep Jazz on my side and from growling at other people or dogs. In one session Jay empowered me to lead Jazz. A big task for some of us women who struggle with being pack leaders. Jazz and I have been enjoying some lovely walks. Thank you Jay!!! Fourth session was calling Jazz in from backyard. Jazz did well with Jay. That is something I am sure I will master shortly! If not, I now have a dog expert to reach out to for help. Jazz was so excited to see Jay on a weekly basis. Jay was so loving and it made me realized I was not loving with Jazz. He is not my dog but my clients. However, I have started to love on him. This way he feels he belongs to someone and that he is loved. This poor dog came from the shelter during COVID. I have no idea what life he had before. However, now Jazz is living his best life ever thanks to Tails of Success. I have always felt professional dog trainer have. value. This recent situation has re-enforced their value based on their experience, quick results, and in home training. I highly recommend this experts. Side note: make sure you do your homework daily to reinforce all Jay's teaches your pet. This way you too will be a happy client with a happy pet.

I wanted to let people know that they did follow up with me with a very heart felt apology and did want to let us know that they were correcting the issue that happened. I also wanted to let you know that over the last 20 years they have always been nothing but professional toward us and very caring when we had to do this in the past. So I want to that them for the apology.

We had to take our little girl (4 year old cat) in to see the doc. She wasn't eating or drinking…read moreand was lethargic. Everyone was fantastic! We thought she had hurt a hind leg and was just in pain. Doctors did X-rays and blood work. X-rays were good but the blood work showed an infection along with a fever. Docs put her on fluids for her dehydration and gave her IV antibiotics. After a couple of days in the hospital her fever was down and her blood work looked closer to normal, but she still wouldn't eat. We went out on Saturday night and spent about an hour with her trying to calm her and get her to eat. When we got there she had a petrified look and was scared to death. We were able to talk to her and pet her but still couldn't get her to eat. Doc said she might not eat there because she was so scared. We left her one more night for the fluids and antibiotic IV and a recheck of her blood work on Sunday morning. Temp was down and blood work was close to normal so we brought her home. After checking out the backyard and house she and our other cats all relaxed. She's eating and drinking like crazy now and just demanding attention. Everyone at VCA was great! From the receptionists to the technicians and doctors! Thank you for the wonderful care our little girl got! You all are fantastic!!
