We were having brunch next door to this very cute, colorful, expressive boutique. My daughter wanted to run in for a minute and take a look around . We ended up staying for at least a half an hour going through all the different racks of colorful girly dresses and tops. She was able to find very cute two piece set that she absolutely loves . The store is very reminiscent of a store that I've seen in Dallas Texas . The staff members were so sweet and so generous and their effort to help us find just the right size . Bought $760 worth of clothes and when I got home one of the dresses had a broken zipper. I went back to the store and the owner said they wouldn't return it. It was unworn and I still had the tags. My friend and I wondered into this adorable store after having brunch next door, we were immediately greeted by a really nice sales associate who was so helpful in helping us find outfits for the events we were looking for. About 3/4 through our shopping experience the owner came into the store. I was trying on a top in the dressing room (curtain cover for door) and I guess the owner was able to see in and see the top I was trying on, she immediately scolded the sales associate for allowing that top to be tried on in the dressing rooms as "it often gets broken." I feel like this was a conversation better suited after we left the store while I did not have the top on in the dressing room and was not within ear shot! I immediately felt uncomfortable, took the top off, returned the other items to the sales associate and left the store. It's unfortunate that the owner lacked the professionalism that the young sales associate did, I was looking for a bachelorette party and hoping to buy multiple items. read more

Super bad service and super bad quality. My sister and I came in to this store and all of the dresses were super cute so we were both very excited. When we went to go try on the dresses, a worker (don't know her name) with straight blonde hair was helping my sister into the room. My sister is a little curvier but all the clothing was her size. The girl looked her up and down and said "be careful trying these on please." I did not get told this (I have a different body type than my sister) so this is really bad looks on that worker. I didn't know she did this until after we left the store because my sister didn't want me to say anything so I had bought a dress. If I had heard this comment I definitely would not have purchased it. Upon wearing the dress for two hours, the seam is completely detached (and not anywhere that would've stretched) so the quality is super bad too. Of course no phone call back no follow up and when I try to call again their phone number is either disconnected or goes to a mailbox with no option to leave a message. Long story short I am a business owner and I would never treat a returning customer like this. Poor quality clothing, from my experience owner does not pride themselves in customer service. I order a two piece knitted outfit from Love Lola's online boutique. The outfit was well made and so dang cute, unfortunately it just didn't fit right on my body. Top was too small and skirt was too big. A few days after I received the set I went out of town for a couple weeks. Once I got home and settled I reached out to love Lola via email to go about the return process, for whatever reason their response email wouldn't download so I couldn't see what was said. I ended up searching the boutique realizing they were 25 minutes me! I went in person to return or exchange and I was told I couldn't do either because I missed the 14 day window. So now I am stuck with an $80 outfit that doesn't fit my body at all. This was a huge disappointment. I feel like I just through money at the a wall. The owner should really give more grace for exchanges, life happens and it's not always easy to make that two week grace period. I totally would have come back and given more business to this place, all the clothes were super in style and looked to be good quality. Also, this boutique only does exchanges or store credit. Bizarre business practices and strange fabrications about sums up our experience with this store and its owner. We ordered a dress online for my daughter to wear to an event, but we could only get her a medium because the small was sold out. It was a bit big on her, so she decided to go with another dress from a different retailer. The absurdity started when we went into the store to return the dress she did not wear: We were first being helped by a teenage employee, but then a middle aged blonde woman (who I now understand to be the owner) took over and started scrutinizing the dress for damage. Regardless of the state of the dress (my daughter had tried it on in our home to see if she liked it, and the dress was fine then), it was pretty clear to us the owner planned to find a flaw so as to not have to issue a refund. We were also informed that the dress would have to be mailed off to their "online warehouse" for them to make a determination about whether we would receive a refund for the "damaged" dress. I'm pretty sure this online branch of the company does not exist because I picked up the dress in the exact packaging it was in when I left it at the store. According to her, they painstakingly videotape the packing of every garment that is shipped for online orders, so apparently they were going to review the tape to see if the current state of the dress matched when it was mailed to us? That seems rather labor intensive for an under $100 dress. Not surprisingly, we received an email stating we would not receive a refund. She cited the nonexistent "rips" in the dress and their policy about a two week time limit for returned merchandise. We did try to return the dress about a week after her cut off time, and, while not the most consumer friendly policy if you want return customers, at least I can understand the time limit policy over the other strange behavior we encountered. Additionally, if someone can try on a garment once and damage it, then that says something about the lack of quality of the garment. People need to be able to try on clothes they want to purchase. Love Lola's site advertises their fashions as being from Australia; however, the brand touted by the owner as being her best seller, Sky to Moon, is just a clothing wholesaler from LA. It is very apparent when one walks into the store that it is filled with garment district clothes created locally and on the cheap. I would have initially been okay with this because our purchase was for a teenager who would wear it once, but we were treated so ridiculously that I felt a need to write a review (which I never do). read more

The clothes are SO cute and the girls who work here are extremely helpful and kind... but I keep finding the exact same items online for soooo much cheaper. I used to shop here almost once a week, but now it is hard to be loyal to a store when you realize that you are being ripped off for more than TWICE the price! Also, $100 for a vintage shirt that isn't vintage is ridiculous. "Vintage" means it is between 20-100 years old, after 100 it is considered "antique". The design on the shirt is a vintage design, but the shirt is just a regular brand new printed t-shirt. It isn't an actual VINTAGE shirt. I don't know how someone can stomach selling a printed t-shirt for that much money... you are taking people's hard earned money. Maybe if a portion of proceeds went to charity I would approve, but this is outrageous.... The owner has lost my business as well as all of my friends and family. I will no longer be recommending this store, I will be recommending the websites that sell the same clothes for a price that is legitimate and FAIR! read more

I bought an $85 dress from this boutique online, got it in the mail, opened the package, immediately didn't like the dress, and put it back inside to ship it back for return/store credit. A few days later I get an email from Love Lola telling me they cannot accept my return and that there was makeup on the dress and that I need to pay them to ship the dress back to me. This is after I already paid $13 to ship the dress back in the first place. When I emailed them back asking for a phone number to talk to a manager or someone further about my issue, they never emailed me back, and it's been more than a week. So I don't have the dress or the $85 I spent on it to begin with. Bad customer service... wouldn't recommend ordering from them online. read more

LITERALLY the WORST experience I've had with customer service. I purchased a dress one week ago and asked directly if I could return it as I was also considering another option. I was told yes, that I had two weeks to do so, with zero mention of exchange or store credit only policy. Had that been communicated I would not have made the purchase. First, the employee I spoke with insinuated I was being disingenuous and that there was no way I was told otherwise, then the manager mimicked the same sentiment- stating they record every exchange. When I asked if she'd be willing to review the tape to verify what I was told upon making the purchase, she said she couldn't and pointed me to a tiny sign on the counter that states the policy. When I mentioned how I felt the customer service was lacking and I'd be hard pressed to shop there again, let alone refer anyone, they basically threw me out of the store saying "you can leave right now-GET OUT!!". Not only was the reaction uncalled for, it was inappropriate. My suggestion: do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else if you care about being treated respectfully by employees and management alike. read more

I came back the next day to return it to learn there was no way possible to get my money back. The owner informed me that I could either exchange or find something new. The owner of this store is horrible and inconsiderate and she lost all of her employees last week because of this - so she, who clearly has no idea how to run a business, was working when I came in today. Please do not tell me what size I am or am not. I didn't ask. I picked out items in both an XS and Small so I could try on both sizes. She took my clothes to a dressing room but when I came to try them on, she preceded to ask me and my friend our waist sizes. When I told her, she said i am not an extra small. She explained that only tiny Australian girls are extra small. Seriously, don't tell me what size I am- I'm the customer and I will try on whatever size I want. She then only gave me the smalls to try on and kept the extra smalls outside of the dressing room. My friend also had a similar experience. Sandy has a "special rack" of clothes saved for a USC trunk show. She told my friend that she could try on one of the clothing items, and come back and get it if she still had it after the trunk show. My friend tried on a size medium, and sandy said "actually you can take it. None of the girls at USC are above a size small, so I won't be able to sell it there." I've been shopping at Love Lola for two years and I will never be back. Sandy, today you lost me and all of my friends as customers. Maybe think before you speak next time. There are so many boutiques out there with similar clothes and better customer service. I walked in the store Saturday July 1st at 9:30 am -not looking to purchase anything but I ended up purchasing a Maxi dress that I wanted to wear for a friends birthday (next day). The sales person was super nice and friendly . The quality of the dress is comparable to Forever 21, however I paid $88 plus tax . I didn't mind paying $88 for this dress because I loved it ! However next day ,I take the dress out of the bag , so I can wear it for my friends birthday party and I immediately called the store after I noticed it had a quarter size hole(tear). I called many times and was not able to leave a voicemail so then again when they opened I called again to let them know I didn't realize there was a hole because of the flowers until I paid close attention to it I realized it had the tear . This was Sunday morning when I called and the women that answer was rude and with a very impolite attitude . I asked if I could just get a discount on my next purchase because I really liked the store and I would try to sew the dress since I needed it . Again very rude and said nothing I can do . I asked her to please call her boss and let me know all I want was a discount for my next purchase and I would just deal with it. It's now Thursday and no one has called and cared. Buyer beware -next time you purchase here as they clearly don't care for customer satisfaction . Today I was excited to shop in the new Love Lola. As I walked by the window I saw some adorable outfits on display. I started picking out items and a cute sweet sales girl started a room for me, everything is going well. I picked out about 10 items to try on. As I'm looking for the sizes, I see that the brand labels are cut out of every single item. WTF? There is no way a store would be this tacky. But yes, tacky as all can be. So I ask the cute sales girl why all of the labels are cut out. She fumbles her story and awkwardly explains how the owner doesn't want people "copying the brand or something." She says, "the owner explained it but I don't really get it either." Hhhhmmmm, ok odd . As I'm trying on all of the items, I notice that things have holes in them and noticing the quality is very cheap, however, quite over priced if you ask me. The sales girl never checked on me one time after I went into the room. I used to work retail and the biggest part of closing a sale is helping the customer in the room and getting other sizes if they need it. Although it's probably not the sales girls fault, she just graduated from high school, so I'm sure doesn't have much sales experience. I wound up purchasing two items because the fit really well and didn't have time to go anywhere else before my vacation. In conclusion, buyer beware of over priced clothing with the labels cut out. I love this boutique! They have such cute clothes from a variety of different brands that are often hard to find in one place. They also have really cute bags, shoes, and accessories. Love Lola recently moved to a bigger location in the same shopping center, and it's a much better space for the amount of merchandise they carry. I came here one day in late March with my friend so she could try on some stuff for Coachella. She found a bunch of stuff that was super cute, but we waited a long time for a dressing room (not the store's fault). There was a couple in a dressing room that was taking a long time and the store owner politely asked if they could please be respectful of the line as there were others waiting to try on clothes. I thought she was very polite, but the man freaked out and started yelling at the shop owner in front of the customers and it was really inappropriate. They left right away and my friend was able to try on clothes. The shop owner, Sandy, apologized to everyone even though it wasn't her fault, and I thought she handled it really well. I felt bad for her, but she was super sweet and professional about the entire situation. One of the employees, Kaylee (spelling?), was so sweet as well and brought my friend a bunch of outfits to try on that she thought would be cute for Coachella. This is a really adorable boutique with a ton of merchandise and I really appreciate their customer service. The ambiance is great and it's a nice change of pace from a department store. The worst exchange policy/customer service I've ever had. I shop at this store every other week, spending a ton of money, and have bought multiple pairs of Quay sunglasses. I purchased a new pair a few hours ago, after going back and forth between the 2 that I liked. Went home, and realized I liked the other pair better.
