This was my puppy's first experience at a groomer, so I was selective in choosing one. I was looking for a mobile groomer but no one was taking new clients. Well, Love My Dog turned out to be the next best option. Christy takes time and listens to what you want, and is detailed with her grooming. She did a phenomenal job on my puppy and I couldn't be happier with the end result. It's a one on one approach, which I love. You don't have to worry about your pet sitting in a cage, waiting for his/her turn. I highly recommend Christy, she's awesome and has reasonable pricing.

We highly recommend bringing your pets here. I promise you will not find anyone who cares so much…read moreabout your pet and how they created a stress free experience for our Bella Boo.. Bella is just a 4 month old puppy when we got her and you couldn't see her eyes so when we went to her 1st Groomer they terrified her! They didn't spend any time trying to know her and Bella didn't want anything to do with these people.. she started screaming like a baby and wouldn't let anyone touch her so we took her home and Googled for the best Groomers and that's how we found this 5 star company.. and trust me they are a PURRfect Place. I talked to Aleene over the phone and told her our experience with the last Groomer. Right from the beginning Aleene made us excited to see how much she cared about our concerns and assured us not to worry. So we made our 1st appointment with Aleene and when we showed up Bella went running to Aleene and jumped in her arms kissing her as if she known her. This shows me that our Bella can sense that she can be trusted here. After 4 hours of time spent with Bella, she was ready to be picked up! We couldn't believe how happy Bella was there and even more I didn't know Bella's eyes were brown and fluffy after she was groomed. Dolly did such a great job grooming Bella to make her look so beautiful after spa day, that we already lined up 2 more customers for Dolly. We are so happy to see that there are still very caring people on this earth you can trust!! Bella Boo and we say Thank you Aleene and Dolly!! We are so glad to have met you.

Disappointed and Frustrated with Grooming Services…read more I brought my miniature schnauzer to PetSmart Austell Georgia, East west Conn. for a full grooming service--wash, haircut, nail grinding, and teeth cleaning--which was supposed to cost $72 ($54 for wash and haircut, $24 for add-ons). Unfortunately, things went wrong from the start. On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, they were unable to complete the haircut due to an open wound they discovered after starting. While accidents can happen, no apology was given, and the staff immediately denied any responsibility. They also didn't explain how the injury happened and waited hours before contacting me. I was still charged $53.10 for the bath and add-ons--despite not receiving the full service I booked. They told me to come back in a few weeks to complete the haircut. On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, I returned and was told the price would be $48.60, even though all that was done was the haircut. No bath was provided this time, yet I was told they "couldn't separate" the wash and haircut--even though they clearly did the first time. I was told I was receiving a 15% discount for the inconvenience, but it made little sense given I was being double charged for the wash and haircut. The haircut alone would've been $22 without the discount--so I still overpaid. I ended up not paying the $48.60 because of the price increase and overall mishandling of the situation. In total, I was charged for services I didn't fully receive, my dog left injured with no accountability, and I was given inconsistent information about pricing. PetSmart needs to improve transparency, communicate better in these situations, and take responsibility when a pet is harmed in their care. I will not be returning.

RUN!!! My rare, purebred poodle was impregnated while boarding at The Dog House Austell LLC. We…read morewere burdened with all the responsibility of seven (7) additional dogs. The owner Brandon acted like he was doing us a favor by boarding the dogs that was created from their negligence. Their insurance said they won't cover the damages. That's all you need to know about this dump. We are suing them.

WARNING: AVOID AT ALL COSTS…read more I want to start the review off by saying that I had taken my dog to The Dog House for more than two years before this most recent experience. They would reach out if the food ran out or anything happened to my dog. However, the business has greatly dropped off over the past year. Since I was going to be gone for 2 weeks, I wanted to ensure my dog was able to go outside so I elected to pay the extra money so my dog could go outside. However, THIS WAS A MISTAKE and I couldn't believe what I saw when I picked my dog up. She had bite and scratch marks all over her face and body, in addition to dried blood in many areas. I asked the owner (Brandon) if anyone was watching the animals while they were outside and he said someone SHOULD HAVE been outside but couldn't confirm. Why would someone pay for their dogs to be let outside and not be supervised? My dog also "ran out of food" even though I packed extra bags. I even picked up my dog EARLY and they couldn't tell me when my dog had be fed last but swore we had enough good. However, they couldn't find any of the extra bags I packed. On top of all this, they improperly had their costs listed on their google site, which the owner (Brandon) said he would correct. Unfortunately, it took me submitting a complaint to my credit card company before he finally addressed the overcharge. After all this, the owner offered to give my dog the bath that I had initially asked for but I would NEVER leave my animal in their care again so I politely declined. In summary, The Dog House failed to deliver on every aspect of their business and I would never recommend to anyone who cares about their pet's safety.

Exterior They have moved 4440 Marietta Street, Powder…read moreSprings, GA 30127. It's at the corner of Oakview and Marietta Street, about 3 blocks down from their old location. They're in the same block with Nibbles and Hand Me Ups. Google shows their updated address, so I'm not sure why the other reviewer said they had to go to their old location to get their new information. I visited the location Fri, Jan 26 and their updated location information was on Google (and still is - I checked after seeing the 3 star review). Parking can be a bit limited on that block. If you turn on Oakview and look to the left, they're in that red brick building that also houses the PearTree Home Florist & Gifts. Right now, there's a sign on the sidewalk (but not the parking lot side of the sidewalk) warning folks not to park in the florist's spot. I asked and was told the sign just refers to the one parking spot, the one closest to the front (technically, the back) door. I've always found that block a bit confusing. I think everything has a Marietta Street address because those are literal fronts of the buildings, but the parking and back entrances seem to be the ones people actually use. Interior I was in a bit of a rush, so I didn't have an opportunity to look around. Just like the old location, I will say that it doesn't smell doggy or 'uriney' (not a word, I know) which can be hard to avoid in a grooming salon. Lol. Customer Service As always, stellar! I love how responsive they are. If you call, you can always expect a call back, fairly quickly - and they're even more responsive to texts. Price / Value Pricing is comparable to other boutique grooming salons. Other * Hours posted say they close at 5pm. I think a lot of businesses post hours like this but thanks to my vampire like schedule - this can be confusing - so I'll post this note: I'm not sure - but I think they take their last appt at 2pm. * Because they leave at 5pm. You can't book a 4:45 or 5pm appt. But I totally understand how it would be weird to say they close at 2pm. Not sure if they take walk-ins for sani-trims and nails, but I need to ask. * As of right now, they no longer seem to have a website or online scheduling. I hadn't attempted to schedule online in forever, so I'm not sure if that's a recent development. * I noticed a few months ago that they've also started offering organic dog treats. * I saw a ND post stating that the owner, Kimberly, is also part owner of the grooming school (Georgia Grooming Academy). I asked - they are in no way affiliated with the grooming school / grooming salon now located in their old building. Overall Overall, I love the Spa Wags team. They can be a bit hard to get a last minute appointment with, because they book up fast - but that's true of any well-loved, well-known groomer. You can tell how much they genuinely love the pets and they do a great job on Gizmo every time we visit! Love. Love. Love these guys. Highly recommend.
