Sweet little spot with great food. We had called to ask about being 15- 20 minutes late for our reservation and thankfully they were about to accommodate us. Service was good, drinks were well balanced, and food was lovely. Especially enjoyed the pastas, cheese/compote with bread, and the tiramisu for dessert.

Came here because saw the great Yelp reviews and wasn't disappointed. We sat in a small room-apparently there's another floor, but it was a cute space. Friendly service and terrific food. The pastas especially wowed. Our prosciutto with melon app came with a ton of prosciutto!

Lovely ambience, cozy and inviting, and not too loud to comfortably have a conversation. Food was amazing, with the bruschetta, summer truffle pasta, and crème brûlée as standouts. Servers were friendly and kindly answered questions about the menu. Excited to return. Keep it up Love, Pomelo!

Popped in for a Friday night dinner and enjoyed the pastas and upscale offerings. I got a dirty martini that tasted oddly sweet so I didn't enjoy that and neither did my friend enjoy her spritzer. But the pastas were great and I'd go back to try others especially on weds during their pasta night special.

LOVE this cutesy spot! The food and drinks and vibes are so good. I tried a new thing with the cheese plate at the recommendation of staff and she did not disappoint.

The food and ambiance was lovely! First started with the drinks (I loved the love pomelo spritz) and my friend had the botanico (more tart but the bartenders was kind enough to sweeten it!) the bartenders were attentive and kind throughout the experience. The sardine toast was not my favorite, the bread was great (from cafe dear Leon) with butter and sardine but can be pretty salty. The pasta was fabulous! My friend and I split the lamb and eggplant rigatoni. I preferred the eggplant with the a nice rustic red sauce while my friend preferred the red wine reduction sauce lamb. A great experience overall!

Made a reservation online for happy hour. I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. The menu seems to rotate often. Everything was delicious. The ricotta was served with freshly baker focaccia bread and was light but flavorful. The broccoli had nice zaatar spice. The pasta was the star, freshly shaved truffle - for a great price and it was the BEST!!! Pasta all made in house. So delicious. Branzino was perfect too. Wine on happy hour was $10. Overall great experience. The server recommended good things and was a delight. We will definitely be coming back!

I came with a small group of friends for dinner and despite having a reservation, it took over 15 minutes for our table to be ready. When we did get seated, we realized how quiet the space felt, despite how many people were occupying tables nearby. Throughout our meal, we kept getting stared at by other patrons, despite trying to match the noise level by talking quietly, and it was not a comfortable experience. The food is expensive and other than their drinks and dessert, I didn't think it was worth it. Our drinks came out significantly later than the food, but they were very yummy. The carbonara was unimpressive, with burnt bacon and no discernible flavor to the sauce. The portions are small for the price, and no bread is served to the table, so we grabbed dessert as well to compensate. The tiramisu and gelato are really good, but what really blew me away was one of their specials of the night--the tiramisu affogato. Hands down the best tiramisu I've ever had. I personally wouldn't go there again, but I'm glad I went and got to experience that tiramisu affogato.

Overall rating: 7/10 Food - 7/10 My friend and I ordered the baby back ribs (6/10) as an appetizer. They were well-cooked, but the seasoning was too light, letting the porkiness leak through more than I like. The 18oz ribeye (7.5/10) was beautifully roasted, and I really liked the seasoning -- it was delicate and rich -- though it was a bit too salty for my friend's liking. For pasta, we went with the classic pomodoro (7.5/10). The tomato sauce tasted house-made and had a refreshing profile, which was one of the highlights of the meal. Our favorite, however, was the tiramisu (8/10) -- soft, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Bottom line: The food is well-cooked with great texture, but the seasoning still has room for improvement. Looking through the comments, it seems that others have noticed the same issue too. Service - 6/10 The service was quite slow, even though the staff were friendly. The owner Min Kim was handling both the reception and the bar, but you still feel you have to wait quite a while at every step of the dining process. Ambience - 8/10 The interior design was dainty and aesthetically pleasing. It's a popular spot for couples looking for a special night out.

We came for their Wednesday $20 pasta special. We didn't have reservations and sat at the bar. It's absolutely beautiful inside and the service was exceptional. Great date night spot. Loved the Bucantini gricia pasta. The aperol spritz was one of the best I've ever.

@lovepomelorestaurant for dinner we shared a burrata (nothing special), tonna crudo and potatoes pre the main course AKA the bottarga spaghetti with crab meat --- which was divine! dirty gin martini was great too --- overall a little pricey for Baltimore

Finally got a chance to try Love, Pomelo. It's a very cute place right by Cafe Dear Leon. Really nice staff and small but cozy on the inside. 2 tops were close together but not too close. And the food was delicious. We had a couple of drinks, one Spritz and a mocktail that was really good. We had the meatballs, romanesco, and burrata appetizers, then the A'Matriciana, Bolognese Bianco and Granchio (crab) pastas. All the food was delicious. The burrata was a real standout with the blood oranges, almonds and chocolate. Fabulous. And all 3 pastas were really good. We tried the tiramisu afogato for dessert which was also fabulous. Can't wait to come back!

this isn't my first time at love pomelo but it was my friends and they liked it! my favorite thing i got was the beets, that with the goat cheese was an amazing combination. the tiramisu was good as well but had a little too much powder on top for me. our server was nice and did a good job checking in on us!

No bartender in sight, no other patrons, no background noise. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we were in the right place. The bar is down a flight of stairs, tucked into the basement, and it's notable because it's Fells Point's only and possibly first basement bar, which already gives it serious character points. We waited near the bar for a few minutes, heard nothing, saw no one, and eventually started heading back up the stairs to leave. That's when Steve, the bartender, literally came after usnot in a weird way, but in a very human, "Hey! Sorry about that, I was in the stock room come back in!" way. And honestly? From that moment on, the experience completely flipped. Steve was phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the place. He's worked there for 18 years, and once we sat down, he turned the bar into a living history lesson. He shared stories about Fells Point, Baltimore, Edgar Allan Poe, the building itself, and all the ghost stories tied to the space. He also told us about the celebrities who've passed through, including the fun detail that Blake Shelton once sat in the very bar stool I was sitting in and ordered a Bullet bourbon. Naturally, that kind of trivia just adds to the charm. Drink-wise, I ordered an Angry Orchard, and my friend had a single Tito's with cranberry and soda water. Our total was $26.16, which feels pretty standard for Baltimore definitely not cheap, but not shocking either. The bar itself is small, intimate, and packed with atmosphere exposed brick, low ceilings, and that cozy, historic, slightly haunted vibe you hope for in a basement bar. It's also connected to The William Fell Inn hotel through a separate entrance, which makes it feel like a hidden secret rather than a tourist stop. We loved the history, the stories, the ghosts, the setting and especially Steve. Being the only patrons that night was actually a gift, because it let us really soak it all in. That said, we're absolutely planning to come back on a busy night to see how the energy shifts when it's full. If you love historic bars, good storytelling, and places that feel like they've seen things Anchor Bar is a must. ‍

Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced... this is the kind of drink that reminds me why I started my little espresso martini passport in the first place. It was giving luxury, it was giving intention, it was giving I need another one immediately. For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then I had the scallops, and this is where they really won me over. Perfectly cooked, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth... just one of those dishes you don't want to end. The whole experience felt elevated without being stuffy -- gorgeous waterfront vibes, amazing service, and food and drinks that actually deliver. Definitely one of my favorite spots so far in Baltimore, and 100% somewhere I'll be bringing people when I want to impress.

The whiskey selection is impressive--this was actually my first time trying Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year, and it was incredibly smooth. If you're a whiskey drinker, you'll appreciate how extensive the selection is here. The bar menu is also surprisingly strong. I highly recommend the burger, and the crab cake is made with real lump meat--not imitation!!! The bartender was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations throughout the night. Weekends can get pretty busy, but it's still a great spot for drinks and small bites.
