Reducing 1-star due to recent visit (2 years since last)…read more We went on a Friday, expecting reduced crowd volume (non-US holiday). Crowd volume still seemed heavy, but manageable. What wasn't manageable was their processing of entrees to get in. They had a single station to process everyone, and the payment system was taking forever. We arrived at 10am when the pool opened, and didn't actually get in until 11am. A full hour wait is pretty outrageous. Having a second payment station would have made it much quicker. Of course you can expect lower food quality at these types of places, but this was still disappointing. Frozen-pizza quality pizza, for more than a legit pizza, and then they overcooked it on top of that. The waterpark itself was still fun, but eventually our kids will outgrow it. Still good for small kids though (ages 2-8).

It felt like a tropical resort in Ontario. The temperature outside was about 5 degrees Celsius but…read moreyou couldn't tell inside and you really didn't need to leave for any reason (unless you wanted to). Room: Comfortable for 4 people, including an infant. They happily supplied a crib but you can't reserve it ahead of time. You had to request it when you check-in. They will then deliver it to your room within 10 minutes and leave it to you to set it up. Yes, you can hear tons of noise but it's a family resort. We had a technical malfunction during our stay with the door and they were quick to repair it and offering us a different room if we wanted (which we declined). The cable in the room is WEIRD! I wish they had supplied an outline of the stations because it wasn't obvious where to find what. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable and loved having direct access to the parking lot as well as the hotel. Water park: Tons of fun for young kids! Lots of life jackets for young swimmers. Lifeguards appeared very attentive and were quickly stopping any unruly behaviour. It was nice and warm inside the park and they have a shop that sells anything you might have forgotten...except swim diapers, they don't sell those! Arcade: Everything was working when we were there and lots of fun for the kids. Lots of options for prizes as well. The oasis poolside snack bar, which is fully licensed, is my new favourite place. I made no less than 8 trips there during my stay. Their mocktails and cocktails were delicious. Food was fresh and 4 flavours of dippin' dots as well. The only breakfast option is a paid all-you-can-eat buffet. $10 for kids and $20 for adults. This part was frustrating as my child was sick most of the weekend and if you just wanted a cup of juice you were stuck. Also, I was never hungry enough to warrant the adult buffet price. I just wanted coffee... For those who only want a cup of coffee in the morning: they do offer complimentary coffee and tea to the room or you can go to the lobby and pay $2.80 for a delicious cup of coffee that comes out of a preset machine. After my first cup, that became my second favourite part of the hotel (after the Oasis snack bar). The one downside? The front desk staff! On Saturday morning, while I was enjoying the coffee described above, I saw at least 3 different parties at the desk asking to speak to management for various issues. On our checkout day, I wanted to delay our checkout as I had 2 sick children and we had an hour before an important meeting. My son just wanted to stay in bed while we waited. Upon asking the front desk if we could delay our checkout I heard a curt "no" on the phone before they hung up. Instead he used the little energy he had, to walk around the arcade for the hour. It wouldn't deter me from staying there again but just wanted to let others know, they aren't flexible on their policies. Overall, it was an amazing weekend away! I would definitely stay there again!

The incline is so sharp that at times I was worried my powerchair might tip backward. Still many chain restaurants, hotels, entertainment options like haunted houses, arcades, mini golf, ferris wheels, wax museum), and other touristy things such as gift shops. Youd definately be able to spend an entire day here. Lots of parking optons throughout the strip. Stay til dusk to watch the epic fireworks show right over the falls. Worth a visit!

We also loved the attached restaurant- delicious food, drinks, and cool atmosphere! Cons: The walls are PAPER thin. You hear everything. We stayed off of the courtyard, and it was SUCH a regrettable decision. Kids were SCREAMING until 11PM. It was so obnoxious and we got no sleep. We also booked a second floor room, and they put us in ground level. Additionally, the pool bar was closed during hours advertised open, and one of the hot tubs was shut down.

Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly, gave us suggestions on the easiest way for us to unload. Rooms have a welcome message on the TV with the guest name so you feel seen and not just another guest. Until I had kids I didn't fully appreciate in-room amenities but I do now and this one covered it all. Conveniently located beside a grocery store and a pharmacy (and a McDonald's) so if you need anything, it's literally a stone throw away. Beds are comfy! Nice soft pillows and blankets. Perfect room temperature. I think we all got amazing sleep. Rooms are also relatively soundproof so you can get kids to sleep early. Amenities: pool and hot tub are great. My kids loved it. The indoor playground is an awesome option because I could let my son run around while I was still waking up. The arcade was also a great way to pass the time. Wanted to try the gym but to be honest, I was barely functioning all weekend. Food: the Irish pub that's on-site has all your bases covered. They have a poolside outlet as well and you can charge to the room if you don't want to carry a card around. They have options are unique but also some pub favourites. We ate there twice plus ordered stuff from the poolside pub. Everything was good EXCEPT the beef brisket ravioli. Sorry, it needed to be said, it was just weird! They were accommodating to kids of all ages plus a nice place for adults to relax at the end of the day. Checkout was easy. Overall: great experience. I would recommend it! My kids loved it. Very convenient. I think until both my kids can get the most out of the water parks. I've found my place to stay!

We came in for a Saturday night magic show. We thought it was amazing, but left at intermission…read morebecause we were both incredibly exhausted. From what we saw the show was great, the illusions were incredible and unlike cases where the tricks are obvious, there were some amazing illusions that had us questioning how that was possible. Two magicians performed and it was very cool to watch. My husband was even able to participate before we left. The one downside I would note is that this is a child friendly show, which isn't a problem, except you may be put at a table with young children. When sat we were put next to each other causing a party of five to be across from us, they sat the young children at the end of the table, so they could see understandably, but they sat parents down at the opposite end. The family was very respectful, but if you are not a children person, this may not be the environment for you. Over all great show! I wish I wasn't exhausted and could have stayed for the whole thing!

When we started to think we knew what was happening, he had a unique twist that surprised us. They incorporate animals into the show and we loved that. Overall, 3 adults and 2 teens were captivated. We didn't eat there but feedback from the table was that the food was "meh". We did get some mocktails and were surprised by affordable pricing. We wished there were some desserts to order. Note: If you have a WEGO pass, it's off the blue line by the Howard Johnson's stop. Parking was still advertised as "free" if you had tickets to the show so we parked there earlier in the day. **It is not**. We were told by the attendant that it is $5 cash/$6 card with tickets (still reasonable for the area). Free ended 2 months ago and to take it up inside. I did and they confirmed it ended. I sent an email with the info from their site that says it's free still and they said they would take that down and did offer a refund if I called.
