But the NF Adventure Park is an underrated and largely unheralded fun park right near the heart of the Falls, within spitting distance of the Falls themselves (if you are a spitter). They have zip-lines which are thrilling, and have an amazing view of the mist and the whole area, and after what is inevitably a long wait, you will get to do as much as you like, as many times as you like, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. It was probably the most fun that my German family members had on their trip to WNY, while the older folk enjoyed the Falls, the kids thought this was unforgettable and are already talking about going again when we come back. I'd like to take some of my Buffalo friends here because none of them seem to have heard of it. It's slightly pricey, but I suppose everything is these days.

Would not refund despite the long wait. Poor management all around. So many things could have helped move the line more quickly but the staff and management just do not care or know better. No bathroom and only one trash can. Pay your workers better so you don't have people calling out and not showing up. When it's busy, unless you can get people through in under an hour, stop taking reservations- that's just greed. Staff need to communicate updates and give people an opportunity to cancel if the wait is over an hour. No opportunity to upgrade to express either. I've been on far more exciting zip lines for less money that are so much better run.

I have never zip lined before until this trip, this was a blast! I wanted to do it again it was so great! The website says the weight limit is 275 but they tell you in person no more than 300 lbs. it's a very freeing experience and the views cannot be beaten. For a large family this can be a little expensive but the fun is definitely worth it. They even have several cameras up along the zip line to record the ride. After your zip line experience you can purchase the video and it was quite a bit cheaper than I expected for two videos. I would recommend everyone to do this! The employee who removed my harness didn't greet me, didn't explain what he was doing, and suddenly unclipped my harness, causing it to fall to the ground. It honestly startled me because I had no idea what was happening. He then just stood there looking at me as if I should already know what to do next. It felt dismissive and was such a strange way to end an otherwise incredible experience. I wish I had gotten his name because everyone else was absolutely fantastic. That one interaction won't take away from how much fun I had. If you're visiting Niagara Falls, I highly recommend WildPlay! Activate is open daily and hours change depending on the day. Since Activate is located in a plaza, there is plenty of parking throughout. It is also accessible by the Eglinton LRT as well. I stopped by Activate for the first time recently with a party of 4 to enjoy some fun at the facility. We decided to go in the morning around 10am on a Saturday. It does get busier later in the day which can increase the time you'll need to wait for games as more people are in more rooms. Upon entering the facility, you pay for how many minutes of play you desire and collect your wristbands (one is a player wristband, the other is a locker wristband). If it is your first time there, there are stations where you can create a player ID and account. Before entering the play area, to the side there are some tables for you to rest. There is also a locker room with a bench as well as separate washrooms for females and males. There are water stations as well. It is best to wear comfortable shoes or running shoes as some rooms/games require you to move around quite a lot, which can work up a sweat. Games wise, the games are fast, which last only a few minutes, best played with a small group of players (2-5 people where 5 people is the maximum number of players). Each room also only allows one party to play at a time. Each room also has about 4-5 different games with different levels of difficulty. Before entering a room, a specific game is selected where everyone in the party scans their wristband by the door. This way, you can earn points or keep track of your high score for a certain game (getting a certain amount of points can allow you to redeem points). Once in the room, you can keep replaying the game as long as there is no other party waiting to play outside (if there is you'll have to exit the room as soon as possible). The games, all time-based, range from shooting hoops, dodging lasers, finding items, shooting targets, throwing balls, stepping on specific colours on a grid, the list can go on! The levels of difficulty within each game also vary making it more difficult to pass a certain level. There is definitely a game for everyone to enjoy. Within the games area, there is also a photo booth area where you can take photos with your party. Your photos are then digitally sent to your email as well. Overall, an interactive and immersive gaming facility where arcade-style games test your physical and mental skills! Activate is for all ages and is a fun activity to do in a small group. Definitely go in the morning if you want to avoid the crowds!

We chose 2 of the 3 experiences. They're quick to say it's not an escape room but I didn't see the difference. However, having been to other escape rooms, this one has better "games" or adventures to figure out. There were 10 of us so, the more the merrier and everyone was somewhat responsible for getting the rooms solved. Plenty enough riddles and problem solving to keep us busy for about 40 minutes per room. The staff were helpful and seemed to enjoy engaging with the patrons. This can be a little tricky, which was good. It should keep you on your toes. A good team building experience for friends and families.

Theres a lot of trees, grass, and various plants to explore. Theres a well marked map at the entrance near the parking area ($8/hr), and includes herb, vegetable, rose gardens and so many more that you can enjoy. We took our dog here for a walk and to explore and had a lovely morning enjoying the outside. Although we didn't go inside the butterfly conservatory, we can see from the glass outside the hundreds of butterflies flying inside which I imagine would also wonderful to experience.
