Pros: This has great amenities to keep my toddler busy and entertained, from the pool, to playground, mini putting area and arcade. The beds were comfortable too. We also loved the attached restaurant- delicious food, drinks, and cool atmosphere! Cons: The walls are PAPER thin. You hear everything. We stayed off of the courtyard, and it was SUCH a regrettable decision. Kids were SCREAMING until 11PM. It was so obnoxious and we got no sleep. We also booked a second floor room, and they put us in ground level. Additionally, the pool bar was closed during hours advertised open, and one of the hot tubs was shut down. read more

We just spent 3 nights here and we have nothing but positive things to say! They were quick to respond to requests (even the day before when they send the welcome text). Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly, gave us suggestions on the easiest way for us to unload. Rooms have a welcome message on the TV with the guest name so you feel seen and not just another guest. Until I had kids I didn't fully appreciate in-room amenities but I do now and this one covered it all. Conveniently located beside a grocery store and a pharmacy (and a McDonald's) so if you need anything, it's literally a stone throw away. Beds are comfy! Nice soft pillows and blankets. Perfect room temperature. I think we all got amazing sleep. Rooms are also relatively soundproof so you can get kids to sleep early. Amenities: pool and hot tub are great. My kids loved it. The indoor playground is an awesome option because I could let my son run around while I was still waking up. The arcade was also a great way to pass the time. Wanted to try the gym but to be honest, I was barely functioning all weekend. Food: the Irish pub that's on-site has all your bases covered. They have a poolside outlet as well and you can charge to the room if you don't want to carry a card around. They have options are unique but also some pub favourites. We ate there twice plus ordered stuff from the poolside pub. Everything was good EXCEPT the beef brisket ravioli. Sorry, it needed to be said, it was just weird! They were accommodating to kids of all ages plus a nice place for adults to relax at the end of the day. Checkout was easy. Overall: great experience. I would recommend it! My kids loved it. We informed the front desk and instead of fixing the issue, they told us they went by to check it out but we were not there so they couldn't do anything. Oh and my bed was hard as a rock. Check in was quick and front desk staff were so friendlyy! We requested the room to be double vacuumed due to allergies and when we arrived, front desk called management to make sure it was (without us even asking) and management had actually already gone in to do an inspection prior to our arrival post-cleaning. I just thought that was so accommodating. We stayed in a tower room which was spacious and clean. We loved the look of the lobby and the kids had a blast in the playpark and the pool, which were situated in a beautiful indoor courtyard. The hotel was conveniently located and parking is free. Our tour director had requested that members of his tour not be placed in rooms surrounding the pool area as this area can become very noisy particularly of an evening. Unfortunately his requests were actively ignored and many of the tour group were placed in these rooms and hence lost rest/sleep due to the noise which continued well past the advertised closing time of this area. The strong chlorine smell was pervasive and effected the breathing of some of the tour members. Requests from ourselves as well as others (including the tour director) to the staff on duty to reduce the noise were also ignored. Saving grace was that the rooms were spacious and clean with easy access to the pub next door that had great food choices. If staying there make sure you request a room that will suit your needs (ie if you have young children then the pool area and if not the tower is the place for you). read more

I'm so torn on what to rate this Best Western. We stayed here because it was about 2 miles away from the Falls, thus a little bit cheaper (we paid about $150/night over Canada Day and 4th of July week). This was for a standard two-Queen room. I don't think I'd stay there again. Overall, the common areas were nice, but the rooms (and beds) weren't all that great. My biggest problem was the bed itself, if the beds were (much) better, I'd probably come back. The Good: -- COMMON AREAS: The Front Desk area, the little gym, the laundry area - all very clean and nice looking! -- COURTYARD: also very nice! They have an indoor swimming pool, two jacuzzis, a little playground and a miniature arcade all in the courtyard... amongst (fake) plants and what not. It's fairly nice looking, and appears to be a lot of fun! The kids seem to really enjoy it. Although we did not use it once in our three days there. -- BUS SYSTEM: For $5 per person, we were able to buy an unlimited bus pass that lasted 48 hours! I can't express enough how FABULOUS this worked out to be! The bus came to get us right in front of the hotel! And then it would drop us at the Falls, and anywhere in between! This saved us so much money in parking, and so much frustration in trying to find parking. If you can use the 'WeGo' bus system - DO IT. You'll thank me later. And it's clean. I usually hate public transportation. -- CLOSE TO GROCERY: There's a small grocery store next door where we were able to stop and pickup pop & water and fruit for the hotel room -- Fridge in the room! Nice to store drinks and leftovers and such -- LAUNDRY: There's a little room in by the gym with two washing machines and two dryers which is a great option. We'd been on vacation for over a week and needed to wash some essentials. I was very happy we could do a load of laundry (see "The Bad" for the negatives of washer & dryer machines) -- ONSITE RESTAURANT: They've got a little restaurant/bar onsite, which was a nice option. We'd gotten in late on our first day, and didn't want to go find food. So we opted to just eat at the hotel before going to bed. -- LARGE T.V...... that we didn't even turn on once. LOL. We were too busy. But it's a nice size television. -- EMPLOYEES: The employees were friendly. There were three people we dealt with while there, and 2/3 were super nice. One younger girl seemed slightly annoyed with our questions, but the other two people were great! The Bad: - SWIMMING POOL / JACUZZIS close at 10pm. MEH. It'd be nice if once we got home from the Falls and other activities to hop in the jacuzzi and unwind.... BUT no. They lock everything up at 10pm. Lame. - NOISE IN ROOM: The walls are extremely thin and you hear EVERYTHING going on outside your room. Especially if you're like us, and have a room right on the courtyard with the swimming pool. All the kids running around and screaming. I am a late-night person, thus sleep late. So wasn't too stoked when screaming kids woke me up. -- WiFi: was absolutely worthless. Took minutes to load a page. -- DEADBOLT WOULDN'T WORK: We were in room 225, and couldn't get the deadbolt to lock. We just used the sliding latch thing. -- LAUNDRY: although i was grateful to be able to do laundry, it was $2 per load, and barely held any clothes. So what should be one load had to be broken out into two. Then on top of it, when the dryer finished, the clothes WEREN'T DRY!! Now, we had an appointment and had to be somewhere, so I didn't have time to re-dry them. We got back at midnight and I had to re-dry everything, which of course costed another two dollars, in addition to the fact that I couldn't go to bed because my pajamas were wet. And then, I only had dollar bills and not coins, so i walked to laundry, didn't have coins so had to walk to front office, then back to laundry. NOT HAPPY. Altogether, one load of laundry cost me $12 and lots of frustration. Grrrrrrr..... -- SIZE OF BATHROOM: It's almost as if the bathroom was an afterthought. When you sit on the potty, your legs are pushed up against the toilet paper rolls. It's pretty ridiculous. -- BEDS: I usually sleep well in hotels, but the beds here were horrible. I tossed and turned all night long. It was ridiculous. For $150/night I expect more. A lot more. -- PARKING: the parking lot in the back is pretty shady. Shady as in scary. It's dark and looks like a great place to break into cars and jack people for money. Needless to say, I wasn't too happy that I was forced to park here because everything else was taken. There is not a lot of parking here. Lot is small. -- COST: I'm from Chicago. For $150/night, you can get a fairly nice room. This room is not what I'd really call nice. It was, errr, manageable. I really would expect a nicer room. But I guess, it's all about location, right? So for $150/night two miles from falls, you get a somewhat crappy room just because it's easy access to falls. read more

A nice enough place with a terrific restaurant/bar attached. At check-in, we were told our room had a jacuzzi tub in it, but the jets didn't work, so please don't try to use it. No problem, we weren't going to be spending much time in the room anyway. They neglected to say that the tub was: A) a sunken bright red heart shaped affair that was b) not in the bathroom but housed in a mirrored and black tiled alcove off the main room AND c) that the room itself had a sort of jungle room theme with a bamboo four poster bed complete with leopard print curtains and animal print headboard. We had a very good laugh over the surprise of finding all of that, but found the room to be comfortable and more than adequate. Thankfully there was a nice shower in the bathroom, so the tub was not missed. It did seem, however, that the heart shaped tub mocked us from the shadows of the dark alcove late at night....... The good: friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant (Doc McGilligans) on site with good food and live music, free internet, Red-Line bus stops right outside taking you directly to the Falls and attractions. The not-so-good: had to pay for parking - this was a surprise as it was not mentioned on-line when we booked the room, thin walls- you can hear people in the hallways easily. I must say this place was great, we took the kids for a short weekend getaway down to Niagara Falls and booked with this Hotel just because of the indoor pool. It was a November Weekend that we drove down here and the Hotel was pretty empty. We arrived at 6pm and the check in at the front desk was quick, 10min flat we had our keys and were on our way to our room. When we were booking this place online we were really contemplating if we should book the courtyard or the "side building" and we were glad that we chose the side building. I mean people just passed our room on the way to their room and it was really noisy. I didn't want to know what's going on in the courtyard where they have a disco and a wedding was going on into the wee hours. The room was clean and tidy, what I found a bit weird was that you couldn't close the drapes. And the parking lot was right at our window. Bathroom was clean and well stocked and everything was in working order. Although they make it sound like it's quite a walk to the pool if you don't book in the courtyard it's actually just a 60sec walk. It's really right there!! The pool was great and the kids loved it!! They didn't want to get out, hot tubs were also great and very toasty. I know it was late in the evening and by the pictures this place must look great during the day because of all the ceiling lights but it was pretty dungeony after it got dark, specially the playground area. My kids ( 1.5 & 3 ) didn't even want to go in there. We skipped breakfast because it just looked really greasy with hash browns, breakfast sausages and eggs, so I can't judge that. I booked three rooms for my family to stay in last week while we spent a couple of days at the Falls. First off, the customer service here is amazing! After a very long red eye with no sleep, they allowed us to check in at 9:00 AM once we arrived. That is huge, and much appreciated. This place also has an indoor pool and kids area. The only issues I had about this was it got a little hot and humid in there, and seeing black mold on the glass windows was troubling. The rooms were also dated and not as clean or upgraded as they should be at the Plus level. Grout in bathroom was dirty, tub didn't drain properly, and the TV although a flat screen had only a couple HD channels and no movie options. The restaurant downstairs was also a let down. Pricey a d mediocre at best. I was literally served burnt pancakes and the service was not great. Finally this place is well outside of the Falls area so why you have to pay for parking here is crazy. Overall 3 stars for great staff, comfy beds, and having a kids play area. read more

I recently visited Niagara Falls for the first time and was excited to stay on the Canadian side of the falls! After doing some research and reading reviews, we decided to stay at the Best Western Cairn Croft. We felt that there were a few cons with this hotel, but the pros outweighed them in our opinion. Pros: very clean and large rooms (and ours had a nice electric fireplace), bus stop out front, pool/hot tub (clean), bar/restaurant attached, quick elevators, shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers in the showers, reasonable pricing, centrally located to shops, the falls and restaurants, super friendly staff Cons: you had to pay for parking and the lot was rather narrow and difficult to navigate through, the high tourist tax applied, our shower faucet squealed when it was turned on, we thought the doors seemed a bit thin (we could hear hallway conversations very easily). Overall, my fiancé and I both enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it to any friends or family looking for the same type of stay! read more

This hotel was wonderful. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. Their pool and two hot tubs are indoors and situated in a lovely atrium. There is no free breakfast, but Macgilligans restaurant is right next door. I recommend them for a hearty breakfast but avoid them for dinner. The Shepard pie was terrible! And the poutine was kind of blah! Also recommend staying in the tower section of the hotel...rooms near the pool are apt to be noisy. read more

I've never stayed here, but have come to the Cairn Croft bar a couple of times. This review is about the bar only. It's a spectacle! I do not know how else to describe it. You just have to come and see it to believe it. The crowd is very diverse. uhh yeah, diverse is the word. Kind of like a circus. Definitely come and check it out. No just kidding. This hotel markets itself as pet friendly but was anything but. I travel with my well trained service dog and look specifically for places that are understanding and respect my needs. When I checked in, I had my dog with me and was given a room in the tower. Later in the evening, I took my dog for a walk with his service vest on and when I returned, a girl from the front desk approached me and told me that pets are not welcome in the tower. She demanded my room number and then asked me when I was leaving. I explained that he was a service dog and and she said okay and walked away. When I went to check out in the morning, I had been assessed a pet fee. I tried to explain to the male front desk clerk that he was a service animal and he stared at me and said it didn't matter. After 10 minutes of me trying to tell him that I've never been charged a pet fee for my service dog and him arguing with me about the meaning of discrimination against a disabled person, he finally waived the fee. There was a line of other guests behind me listening to the whole thing and by the time I left, I just sat there crying in my car in the parking lot. I travel a lot and have never been treated so poorly or made to feel so unwelcome. I wasn't trying to deceive anyone and was upfront about the dog from the beginning. I was given that room by the front desk clerk and if she made a mistake in placing me there, then it should have been dealt with internally rather than persistently telling me I shouldn't be there. At the end of the day, I paid as much as any other guest and should have been treated better. The room was decent, but did not have any of the featured amenities such as the whirlpool tub or fireplace. It was just a standard king. The attached restaurant offered good food, but it took an hour for it to reach my table. The portions were a bit small, but otherwise good. read more

First, I should mention that we booked through Best Western's website which got us a good price but not the package deals that other reviewers mention. This is a very nice, clean, well maintained property near the edge of the Niagara Falls tourist district. As another reviewer mentioned "It does what it was intended to do: provide accommodations near the Falls (2 miles) for an affordable price." Keeping that in mind, I would normally rate this a 4 star property, however during our stay a couple things happened that earned a 5th star. First, our interactions with the front desk people were excellent. They were both professional and fun, giving us lots of great direction on where to go, how to avoid some of the heavier tourist traffic, places where locals like to hang out, etc. All excellent advice. They accommodated all requests and did a great job making us feel welcome. Next, the attached Irish Pub served really tasty food and great beverages in a very neat atmosphere. Great place to end up after a day by the crowded Falls. Last, although not the fanciest of places, the whole family really enjoyed hanging out at the enclosed courtyard pool and play area. Our room overlooked the courtyard and in the evening, after putting the kids to sleep, we sat outside our room at a little bistro table and shared a glass of wine. The next morning we had plenty of time to get a swim in before hitting the road. Oh, a quick comment about paying for parking. Yeah, we didn't like it either but it seems everyplace in Niagara charges something for parking so we considered it just another "tourist tax" and moved on. We really enjoyed staying at Cairn Croft and definitely plan to stay here again if we go back to Niagara. read more

Four stars for what this hotel was designed to be. I won't compare this to a Sheraton or Hilton. It does what it was intended to do: provide accommodations near the Falls (2 miles) for an affordable price. I should also mention we booked this through Hotwire - so we didn't choose this hotel specifically. We chose the "zone" and star-rating. OK, so we found the place easy enough (we drove up from Delaware). Got a parking spot right in front. Walked in, got our keys from the friendly receptionist in the clean and well-appointed lobby, and took the elevator to the third floor to our room. We had the first room off the elevator (thank you, Hotwire...). The room was nice enough. We had a couple desks, a full-sized bed, and a couple chairs. Bathroom was nothing special. What bothered me was the soap dispensers at the sink and the shower. Dispensers as in what you see in cheap restaurants. Environmentally friendly? Absolutely. Tacky? YES. Wasn't a fan. The hotel is a stop for the WEGO shuttle to the falls and other locations in Niagara. The bus pass was $7.00 for 24 hours. Our pass actually lasted about 30 hours. We tested our luck and saved some money. Doesn't always run on time, though! Be ready to fork out some cash for a cab or be willing to drive into the craziness of the Falls. The pool is nice, but geared towards kids. Lots of families sitting at plastic tables around the pool letting their kids play in the pools, hot tubs, and play area. The gym is nice - was able to get in a work out there with some free weights, a couple machines, and a couple cardio machines. We both wanted to get into the hot tub late, but it closed at ten. Stay open later for adults! Bed was uncomfortable. We woke up both mornings with back pain. The walls were thin, but not enough to ever bother us. We didn't even hear the elevator outside the room. Great shower head though! Water pressure for the win! There is an AWESOME Irish pub attached to the hotel. They serve great everything. We had a Canadian thanksgiving dinner there since we were there over their Thanksgiving. Also got delicious breakfast sandwiches to go on our last morning there so we could get moving. Great single malt selection as well. The manager really cares about the place - he, as well as our waitress, both made sure we had everything we needed. Through Hotwire, we got this room for just over $100/night. In Niagara, that's great. I'll take that any day. Would we stay here again? Not as a couple. With our family down the road? Absolutely. I cannot believe I am the first person to review this hotel. Wow. Anyway, this hotel is amazing in every way shape and form. I stayed here with my family in the early to mid 2000's. It's a great place for families, and even those traveling with friends or on business. The service is wonderful, everything is clean, and nothing is too horribly overpriced. They also accept both Canadian and American currency, so that is a plus too. The restaurant in this hotel has some of the best breakfast food imaginable. And there is a pool, two hot tubs for older people, and a cool little place with a bunch of birds that are incredibly friendly and let you pet them. Even if your room is by the said pool area, it's still not loud. All in all, if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel near the falls, go with Cairn Croft Hotel. Way off the path in Tourist County Niagara, you'll find this Best Western, an inexpensive alternative to the high-pricey crowd closer to the main strip. For me, this hotel was just a little too far off the path. Sure, it's only around a 10 minute drive, but I dunno. The hotel is certainly appealing inside. Nice and clean, and the staffers are all friendly. The parking situation was a little frustrating. There are a few spots on the side of the building, but once those are taken, you have to drive around to the back of the hotel (which looks a little rapey at night, I might add), and you basically have to walk all the way through the hotel and back to the lobby to use the elevator. Minor complaint, but when you have heavy bags, it kind of sucks. On one of our long walks to the room from the back of the hotel, we did notice the huge pool/waterpark area, and it did look very nice. More geared toward kids, but very nice nonetheless, and is definitely something for parents to keep in mind. The room was nice and clean, but I did have one chief complaint, which is something well out of the hotel's control: THIN WALLS. Holy hollow wall-hump batman, we could hear people talking, feet stomping around above us, and things from the next room. And when I say 'things', I mean thuds, and when I say 'thuds', I probably mean headboard hitting the wall due to people playing a vigorous game of Monopoly on the bed. It got especially out of hand around 2am or so, when all of the party animals who I presume went to the strip, came back intoxicated, and wanted to keep the party going. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not some old geezer who calls to complain about noise or anything, but this was getting wildly out of hand, especially when the young gothey couple in the room next to us started having an all-out fight in the hallway. My girl and I ended up having to go out there and tell them to keep it down, which sucked. It didn't really work either. All it did was cause the girl to start bawling her eyes out and incoporated that into their feud. Terrific! I can hardly fault the hotel for having people like that in their hotel, especially since it was very modestly priced. It basically came off as a bed-stop for people partying elsewhere all night, which is fine...I just wish the rooms were more sound-proof. The morning breakfast was nice, and their dining area was very laid back and relaxing. I'm not sure if unpredictable patrons and thin walls are enough to not recommend a hotel, but there it is. read more

Barely a three. $190 on Lundys Lane (no falls view). Pool is okay, indoor heated, play area is mostly out of order and kitschy. The decor is okay, but dated and on the verge of falling apart. It's half hotel, half motel, but I was paying motel prices. My family had booked in early and I had joined them after midnight. The late night staff person wasn't very helpful in getting me to my room, which ended up being in the motel part. It wasn't very satisfying staying here, but if you can get it on the cheap, then it's at least clean. read more

Pros: friendly staff, large rooms. Cons: no free breakfast, paid parking (not mentioned online), loud pool area, and almost all the arcade games were not working when we went. TV had little on, not that we planned on watching it much, but if you have kids you'll need something to entertain them before bed. Normally you see hotels with digital cable or something like that, not here. I could find one kids channel, and it didn't have much on for the kids. In my case, I had friends say they got a package with access to the large fallacies waterpark with their stay, so I thought I'd have that as well. I did not. So parking, breakfast, and water park all added up to another $300 for the 4 of us, plus all the typical tourist trap crap of Niagara Falls. I would not stay here again. We booked this hotel through Travelzoo and got a great deal, notwithstanding the unexpected charges for parking and "resort fee". Read the fine print. We didn't. The special included two free drinks (one each) in the very nice Irish Pub inside the hotel and full, hot breakfast the next morning. It also included a day pass on the local WEGO bus which, unfortunately, we were unable to utilize due to our schedule. Our room was very spacious and nicely furnished. We really enjoyed the gas log fireplace which was a pleasant surprise. The bed could have been a little more comfortable but we were well pleased with our stay. read more

The hotel was nice but there was too much chlorine in the pool right when you walk in you can smell it and it's dyed my sisters dark blue bathing suit light blue and they took everyone out of the pool to put more chlorine read more

We stayed at Best Western at 6400 Lundy's Ln in August 2016. I chose this hotel because of the value and the pool/kid area. Having a 6 and 9 year old, have an area for the kids to enjoy is key to some relaxation on a family trip. The hotel staff were kind and friendly right away. Laurie at the front desk immediately provided me with two kids eat free coupons at the attached restaurant, Doc Magilligan's, when she found out I had kids. Said if I needed more, to just ask. The food was good too. The room was clean upon arrival. The showers have a shampoo and body wash dispenser. I like that! The pool area consisted of an indoor patio area with plenty of tables and chairs, two hot tubs, video games and a kids jungle gym area. They do charge a $12 a day parking fee and they also charge the Tourism Tax. Cost $11 for 2 days. Not really worth the time spent arguing to have it taken off. Saturday night cost us $188, Sunday cost $131, for a two day total of $399 with taxes and parking. One of the cheaper stays. The rooms were good size and came with a frig and microwave. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and for $7.50 per adult and $4.50 for children 6-12 you can have a 24 hour pass to the bus system. For $12 per adult and $8.50 per child the pass is for 48 hours. This is a great way to get around. Enjoy! read more

Went: July 26, 2015 checked in 3:00 p.m.; checked out next day 10:00 a.m. (72/100) I got a groupon deal (not sure such a great deal) for this place at $89, but I didn't read the fine print and that was a U.S. price. After fees and conversions, it was about $130. They charge you $10 for parking as well. I forget the details, but I was not impressed and there were at least 3 things that you would expect a hotel to do, but didn't. One was I wanted a toothbrush, but it took them too long to get back to me and when they did, it was in the shower and it was not a good time. The person I was with was looking for something that hotels carry, but this one didn't have. On groupon, it said I would be in a tower, but I was on the ground floor, which I found humourous. The room itself was adequate but did not look or feel to be the cleanest or the nicest. 3.4 stars, rounded down to 3.0. read more

The concept and idea of this place is great. Our experience was 50/50. I will not down the place because it may have just been the timing, but we stayed in the garden/pool/play area. Room was just as pictured. Only 2 issues we had was the AC was not turned on. The pool area rooms are hotter then the rest of the hotel so expect it to be muggy, but the problem came when the AC unit was not turned on yet when needed to be given it was hotter then normal outside. They did try to do right by giving us two fans for the room. A+for that effort but again still a bit uncomfortable. Two, was parking on a busy day. $12.50 for parking and had no parking the first night, priority sections should be given to the people who stay and pay the fee for parking. With the restaurant and event happening there were no spots. AGAIN they tried to make right when I checked out by waving the parking fees. So every wrong I had they did try to do right. Would I give this place another shot absolutely. Odds seemed against us with our stay but the efforts of the hotel and staff are an A+. Ultimately you can't be mad at that. read more

I dont know about anyone else but me and my family loved this hotel! We brought our two kids age 16 and age 10 here and they loved it. They loved the lay out, the pool area. The hotel was clean and the people working there were helpful and pleasant. We got a courtyard room which was great. Our slidi.g doors opened up to a balcony which had the sunlight shining in. But the curtains were dark so that when u closed them not a peak of sun could be seen. Our room.was big and clean. We had two queens sized beds. We did not eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel because you are surrounded by so many fast food and resturants. They are in walking distance. The red lobster was on the corner. Another thing is location! You are literally rite by all the activities tht the falls has to offer. They do charge 12$ for parking which sucks. After we were done with all of.our activities the kids loved to be able to come back and jump in the heated pool to relax and have fun I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family vaction spot. We git our deal off of Groupon and the price was great! read more

My family and I stayed here this past week.... 1st room we got stunk terribly of some kind of chemical, it hit us in the face as soon as we walked in. Front desk moved our room right away but gave us a crappy "corner / end room". There were several ants in the room, the carpet was way outdated and gross and the shower curtain had mold on it. The poolside bar was never open (they said it's only open on Fridays and Saturdays but I NEVER saw it open. The area around the hotel is skeevy and I did not feel safe walking around with the children. Once checking out there were hidden charges on my bill, ($3.00 a day "tourism fee" & a "environmental hotel charge" of about $2.35 a day) when I questioned them they were taken off, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY THEM! Buyer beware! Also, wifi is worthless in the rooms.The good things I found: housekeeping staff was sweet & the pool / play area was nice to have right there. But that's about it. I WOULD NOT stay here again or recommend it to anyone unless you're on a tight budget. read more
