I went to Janee for the first time today, and now I totally understand the amazing reviews! Her studio is located inside an office building on the first floor. It's right off the 163 and there's a massive parking lot. I went on a weekday afternoon, and there were plenty of spaces available. If you park on the left side of the building, there's a glass door with a ramp that says Salons - entering through there is the quickest way to find her studio. There are bathrooms easily accessible inside as well. Getting sugared can feel so awkward, but janee makes you feel at ease. Not gonna lie, i showed up in sweats with no make up & I was so intimidated when she came out looking so glam, but she was so funny & nice! She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, and she just seems genuine and non-judgmental (really important qualities when you're feeling so vulnerable and exposed!) her technique is great & very thorough. I barely had any pain! I would highly recommend janee for anyone trying sugaring for the first time. She puts a little chocolate out for each client & I think the hot towel at the end is such a nice touch. I will definitely be back :) read more

The last time I was sugared was in 2013 when I moved to San Diego. Since then I have been burned a couple of times because I have sensitive skin. Years after my original review, Love Sugaring is still my jam! I started seeing Janee when Mailette moved back east, and she made me feel so welcomed! I've been a regular for SIX YEARS now and while I still sugar, I gotta give Janee major props for her facials. I love me a facial and with acne-prone, very sensitive, thirty-something skin, I feel like I'm always in need of one. What I don't like is a facial that is all about the fluff- I want someone to really work my skin over and make that hour worth it for me! Janee always listens to me and what is going on with my skin, gives me solid and trustworthy recommendations on treatments and products (loving the vitamin C serum she turned me on to), and leaves me feeling clean and rejuvenated. Her dermaplanes are outstanding, she always picks the right peel for me, and my pores never knew what hit 'me when she is done! Go for the sugar, and then stay a little longer for the facial.
