I had a Brazilian once before going to Molly's by another place that claimed to offer Brazilian sugaring but they actually used strips instead of sugar! I came here maybe 8 months following a move when I needed to find a new sugarist. Pros: The products used were great. They use/sell a line that was gentle and soothing. The beachy décor is darling, and my initial sugarist did a great job. I felt comfortable with her. A potential "pro" is that they are open later than many places, but the scheduling was a problem for me. Cons: I was asked almost monthly to reschedule my appointments. The alt times were in the middle of the workday or late in the evening. The alt appointment time sometimes meant they switched the provider to someone else, so I never really knew who I was booked with. Didn't work for me, but I'm sure plenty of people won't mind those things . read more

A very special celebration is coming up and I was in desperate need of a wax. I had my appointment for a week through Yelp. I called 30 minutes after making my appointment to confirm that the appointment went through. The lady who answered said I was good to go. The day before my appointment, I got a call saying that they aren't going to honor appointments made online even though I had called to confirm. I work as a noc shift nurse so I work all night and sleep during the day with limited availability. I had to scramble and find somewhere else who was able to take me last minute. If you've never been sugared, do it, and do it here! Molly (owner) is a seasoned vet when it comes to sugaring, you don't even realize what's happening! She makes you feel comfortable, the room is "beachy" and filled with mermaid fun to look at. She always has great music on and the room has multiple fans/heat lamps to make it the perfect temp during any season. If you're extremely picky like me and need a bazillion reviews to make you feel better, count me in. I highly recommend going to the Suga' Shack and getting on a regular sugar schedule. She works with you on price if you come consistently and it starts to feel more reasonable. I used to be a one timer (I'd come in sporadically) and I'd have sticker shock, but if you want less hair and finer hair you need to stay on top of it. So suck it up girl! Never get burnt, red, broken blood vessels, or dry skin again! Waxing is out, sugaring is in :) (Ps, while Molly is out on maternity leave, Ashley also rocks your socks! Waxing (sugaring) can be really awkward. Molly makes you feel comfortable, talks you through the fun of it all, and get this... sugaring doesn't hurt as much as waxing! I've also had facials here, and they are wonderfully relaxing. She carries a line of cleansing products that I started using and my skin has never looked better. This was the first place I've ever been sugared and now I refuse to go anywhere else. I tried to go to another salon but the cleanliness and comfort didn't compare. Getting naked and sugared can be intimidating but Molly and her girls are knowledgeable, friendly and put you at ease immediately. I suffered from stubborn ingrown hairs but since sugaring, my regrowth is super soft and manageable. They take the time to go over after-care with you, which is very important! Omg I love my vagina!! I have always had issues with razor burn and ingrown hairs whether I shave,wax,etc. this was the first time I ever tried the sugaring hair removal and it is seriously magical. I booked an appointment last minute and Molly was very accommodating and squeezed me in that same night. My appointment was with Azure and she was so lovely. Molly is spectacular! I have come to her for Permanent Make Up on my eyebrows, for Waxing, (and now) for Sugaring. I have also used Molly for Facials, that in the past I didn't care for, but Molly is so great at it - I love them now! I used to get waxed all the time, but Molly talked me into "Sugaring" - wow! What a difference! It doesn't hurt as bad as waxing and it seems to last longer. I even had my 12 year old go to her to get her legs "Sugared" and she barely flinched.
