These folks did a large pair of steel doors for our house. The finish did not hold up. The refinish did not hold up, it was literally falling off. It took weeks to set up a service call to repair the repair. As the day aproached a dear friend died. We tried several times a day to reach someone to reschedule - no luck. Left lots of messages. They called in the middle of the funeral wanting to know why no one was home. The service tech patched on place on the door - the most obvious one and didn't repair the other places. More weeks to set up another service call. Sure enough an other person milestone ended up on the day. So, the wife stayed home and missed the event. No one showed up. No one called to say they couldn't make it. Just left her there all day when she really wanted to be at the event. There is literally nothing that would let us recommend this company. read more

Back in 2020 when we started planning our dream home we search and found LTD, the owner happen to be in the store that day and made us a fantastic deal on our front door. We paid our deposit while we built our home. When the time came they installed the frame so the masons could continue. The guys in pink shirts were awesome. If you are considering purchasing a door from Love That Door, think again. After and only after completing the installation of my beautiful door, I was told that a piece of the outside trim (specifically the arch) was never ordered with the door and that someone from the company would be in touch. Once I walked outside and saw how it was left, I reached out to the project manager. After getting the run around, I requested to speak with the owner. I have never felt so insulted and disrespected in my entire life. Arfter paying 9,000.00 (before the trim) this guy went as far as to tell me i just wanted some money back. He was so irate and disrespectful, that my husband got on the phone and told him that he would no longer allow him to speak to me in this manner. I could not believe that the owner of a business would speak to anyone in the tone that I was spoken to. I would NEVER EVER buy anything nor recommend this company to anyone!! read more

They damaged the door on install. Their engineer came out and said they'd repair it to look new. They didn't. They ignored my emails reminding them of this repair. I assumed it would be completed since they never said otherwise to my emails. They just painted it over. It took nearly four months of the inside of my home looking bad for them to finally come out and finish the inside trim and paint. Awful communication and service. I spent a lot of money for a new door... they gave me a damaged door and unacceptable service. Currently, I can't imagine contacting them for warranty work if needed. read more

Extremely happy with love that door team went above my expectations they had great communication

First of all, we absolutely love our door! It is gorgeous and heavy duty! My main complaint about Love That Door is their scheduling process. They know the doors are arriving but their scheduling is awful!! It literally takes months to get it installed, the brick man back to do repair work, and then and only then do they call to schedule painting repair and touch up. We're going on 9 months to get this all accomplished! Crazy, but perhaps a sign of the times. One of our screens does not fit properly and there is quite a large hole in the corner, not the usual gap that should be at the bottom of the screen. We'll see how the company addresses that issue, so the review is still up for grabs. I'm hoping they will stand behind it and do the right thing. Joanne read more

Just an update on the review. It is now April 3rd and the glass and water leak have not been repaired. I know the recent events have slowed things down but 7 months ? They showed up once with the wrong size glass. Remeasured and left again. I know it is a long way to China but it seems like we get most orders within a month. I will update if the window gets repaired or if we have to take it to the next level. Customer service is pretty bad as well. They never call with updates we call about every other month to ask what is happening. Update 5-14-20 The window in the door has been replaced. So far so good. I will raise the stars rating from one to three. The door is nice the customer service stinks. read more

I wish I could give ZERO STARS! This place is terrible!!! Go elsewhere! I regret choosing this company 100%. When they say 16-20 weeks they mean 6-9 months. After they get your %50 payment, make sure they actually order your doors. also, make sure they order the correct doors! They installed the incorrect doors and proceeded to leave the back of our house exposed for 3 weeks until I demanded they finish. their communication is awful, they start so many email different chains so not all pertinent information is kept in one email. Anytime I call they have no idea what is going on. They were supposed to have my correct doors installed by now but yet it's been almost a month since they said they would. Of course they got all their money. About 15,000 later and I have to use a remote to open and close my doors. I have a dog and 3 young children who can't open this door with out a remote. This place is completely ridiculous. I wanted to wait to post until I had my correct doors that I paid for but I have zero faith I'll ever see those. Not to mention this door that is only operated by a remote is this most used door in our home. read more

We love our new iron double doors! We replaced our old builders wood door that was over20 years old. Jim from the Frisco office was instrumental in helping us see the vision from the 1 door entryway to 2 doors. I am happy he offered this option. The doors are good quality and nice and heavy. The glass is reflective so you can't see in during the day. The installation went pretty quick, and the installers had it in in less than a day. The design team was happy to craft multiple layout versions from our hand drawings until we were satisfied. The global supply chain slowdown created an 8-month start-to-finish project but the LTD interim communication by office staff was timely and professional. The install was not perfect the first time out but the LTD response, site visit inspection and adjustment made it right. The final product, after pant touch-up, is stunning. They promise you the world and undelivered big time. They make sure every little detail is correct at the time of ordering. When it comes to your house they made a mistakes. They have to come out several different times for repairs problems and the door now opens from the wrong side. This place is a joke. They don't return phone call unless your purchasing a door. The doors come delivered beat up and they say that's normal we have to bondo all of them. Save your time and money find another place. read more

We decided to look into Love That Door as option for replacing our front door and separate window above it. We could not be more excited about the results. The new door and new window we looked at buying was going to be about $400 cheaper overall, but the quality was nowhere near what we received from Love that Door. We ended up having one issue with width and once the crew looked at it...they suggested the stone around the door for finish out, and it's amazing. The initial meeting was at the Grapevine office and the design was a lot of fun as the options are endless on what they can do to try and satisfy your individual needs. Once we finished, they go to work on creating your door. You go through the process of seeing the drawings and measurements...then approve. Once that's all done they create the custom door and ship it to their facility. The installation was very easy and they take major precautions on your home to take care of things. And in our case going from single to double door, there was more construction to do, which increased our timeline. I would have preferred to know in the beginning that not only was delivery going to take an extended time, but subsequent necessary follow ups would each be a week part. We bought this door from Love that Door and had it professionally installed 6/2019, overall this door cost us $11,000 with delivery and install. After 2 years the door has rusted, the color has faded and and the glass is failing . The door is under an awning and in full shade all day. The company gave me the run around for 3 months and refuses to do anything. This door has a 10 year warranty and company is not standing by it. When I bought my home in May 2017 I had allotted some money to replace my front door. I went to Love That Door and liked their selection and the senior gentleman I was dealing with. I ordered the door in August after two separate men from Love That Door came to measure my doorway to double check measurements, since these are special order iron doors. The door was not expected until Dec 2017. The door arrived in December and was too short. The men installing the door said they could not make it work. The door was going to have to be re-ordered. Here is where all the problems began. The re-ordered door was promised for end of April beginning of May. I called in April 2018 and was told the owner never re-ordered the door. The owner Chad Crenshaw called me and blamed the door not being re-ordered on him currently being in a messy divorce. Really? As most know, these doors aren't cheap and I had put half down per contract. I had to ask for a discount at this point. He would not comp the remainder of my balance because he stated he was out so much money for the first incorrect door, but said he would take off half of what was still owed. It wasn't my fault his people can't measure correctly but it was put off on me. My door finally arrived June 13, 2018 and was installed. They arranged to paint and replace my trim the same day. The trim does not match my trim and so they where going to have to come back to do it again. My base boards were not caulked just painted and you can see every nail gun hole. I scheduled for them to come back and stated I would only pay half of the agreed discounted amount because the job was not finished, they agreed. The next appt, Love That Door did not show up. I called and they said the crew got stuck on a job. Note I had to call. I was so upset at this point. Mr Crenshaw would not answer my calls or call me back, he had his office staff call me. They kept sending me to a certain dept that was responsible for painting and no one would get back with me. I decided I would just finish my base boards and trim above the door because they were unreliable. The job was not finished so I did not pay the remaining balance. In December 2018 a couple of the threshold screws broke in half and my threshold was coming off. I called for them to come out to fix it. At that time they asked about the balance. It's December, I've never received a bill any notices nothing about the balance from June. They scheduled an appt to fix the door and no one showed up. I called the next day and I was told the man that was supposed to come to my house was fired in the morning but he told them that he would still work the whole day. Once again Really? Again I rescheduled and the door was fixed. They then asked for the $517.80 balance and I stated it should be written off as I had 2 no show appts that I took off work for. It is now end of June and I received a letter. The date the letter was written was June 6, Mr Crenshaw signed it dating the 5th. Mr Crenshaw states he is placing a lien on my property on June 18th if not paid beforehand but the letter was sent on June 18th. Yes, this is how this company rolls. I've been patient and nice but I'm not paying for a service that was never completed and I don't have days just lying around for this company to waste not showing up. read more
