After years of sleeping on a mattress on the floor, I was more than ready to find the perfect bed. I knew what I wanted. I wanted a storage bed with drawers but I didn't want it to just be exposed wood. I found Lovely Furnishings via Etsy on my search. I really liked their beds and they were definitely first on my list but I took a while to really make my decision. So I decided to start my search about them. Unfortunately their was hardly anything. No about me on their website and reviews were scarce and I saw a bad review by one user posted all over where they could. I saw that they had an address so I figured they may have a showroom and drive to it since it's not too far from where I live. I kept calling the number I found on their site but it didn't sound like my calls were going through. I stopped calling but a few minutes later I received a call from Carlos who explained to me the address was their business location and not a showroom. We spent quite a few minutes going over the details of the bed and he made sure to be very specific and give me any information I needed. I provided my email to him where he answered any questions or concerns I had. I decided to take the plunge after his great customer service and purchase the Tiffany 8-drawer upholstered grey bed with no headboard. (I will include all photos he sent There was some miscommunication about when the bed would be ready, I had thought it would be ready to go within a week but he had to build the bed from scratch and it would take 4 weeks. I was bummed because I had bought a new mattress and wanted the bed to arrive first. I expressed this concern to Carlos and he made sure to expedite the build and delivery. I finally received the call from Carlos yesterday that the bed was ready and told me he could deliver yesterday night. I was ecstatic and said YES! my mattress wouldn't be coming till Monday so the timing was perfect. He had also told me he made sure to deliver it the night before our rainy storm would begin and last until the next week to make sure I got my bed before that and not wait another week. How great is he?! Carlos provided above and beyond customer service through out the whole process. He addressed all questions and concerns. He expedited the build, and he even delivered it and installed it free of charge. If you are lucky enough to reside in the California area, you will have the pleasure to meet this awesome business owner and I'd tell you, make the purchase with Lovely Furnishings. I found the Tiffany 4-drawer Platform Bed / Storage Mattress Box while searching for a storage solution on Amazon. I contacted them directly and ordered it from Carlos for about $100 less than Amazon. Right on schedule about four weeks later it arrived in great shape. It was easy to assemble. We have a small bedroom but needed more storage. I came upon this website and got a quote from Carlos and sent away for swatches. It was some time before we actually ordered the bed. Carlos honored the original quotation which had been a sale price. He was very kind and answered all questions thoroughly. When he delivered the bed (since it was local, not out of state) he saw I didn't have help and he helped bring in the bed and set it up. He was very professional and gave me a ton of tips about the furniture piece. We couldn't be happier with the quality, it is a solid piece obviously made with great workmanship and materials. We had been looking for a platform bed that's not on the floor and when we found this company it looked perfect! It took a long time for us to figure out which style and color we wanted, and we emailed back and forth with Carlos a number of times. He was responsive and helpful throughout. When the bed finally came, it was everything I had been hoping for! 8 drawers for storage, high off the ground, beautifully done and easy to assemble. The reason for the missing star is only that the delivery service could be improved upon as the contracted company took longer than expected and delivery is only to the door. The Customer Service was exceptional from Carlos though. It's the kind of personalized attention that's rare to come upon these days. Plus the bed is beautiful --definitely worth the wait! read more

Carlos is as good as it gets for having a bed built, it is wonderful, comfortable and well built.He is so good at keeping in touch about any little concern, big or small. It's exactly what we were looking for, the footprint gives us tons more floorspace without sacrificing bed size, the drawers give plenty of storage and roll smoothly. It is a quality bed, better than most furniture stores nowadays. We are sleeping in much more comfort because it is the perfect application for our Tempurpedic mattress. It was finished before the time quoted and delivered so quickly I had to scramble to make sure I was home-LOL! The delivery was done fast and well, the packing so simple and 90% finished all we had to do was unpackage and set it up-done in less than 20 minutes! I would buy another in a heartbeat, they are that good, I will recommend one to anybody I know looking for a bed.Carlos is the best, and I give him major thumbs up and wish him much success, he is wonderful to work with.
