I've been going here for almost 5 years, and after today I will not be returning. Even though my friend and I were the only ones in the place our service was awful. I asked the woman why she didn't clean under and around my nails and she actually tried to gaslight me by telling me she did and I didn't notice. Ummmm wtf are you talking about lady?!? My so called foot and leg rub were so aggressive, and way to rough. I get the Deluxe pedi. And its always included paraffin wax. Always, and now all the sudden it's $12 more? So I ended up paying $85 for a pretty paint job and a horrible experience. So after years of loyalty this business will never get another cent from me. read more

Came in with two of my friends little girls and we asked for 3 pedicures- they stated 28.00 each. They said it included a hot rock massage as well as a the polish. I had gel nails so they charged $5 more to remove it. We waited about 15 minutes to get a chair. Then we waited about 10 minutes more before they had 1 man (Don) come over and started on me as the girls sat and soaked for about 20 minutes longer. About this time-- 4 more people walked in for pedicures. So Don started rushing through my pedicure not trimming all my toes, clipping some nails but missed some. When I asked him to go back and trim them he didn't seem happy about it. From the time he started to the time he finished was roughly 15 minutes. I would have liked flowers on my toes but he was in such a hurry and I could see he just wanted us out of there. The 2 girls got nothing but toenail polish- no base coat no nothing. I'm giving them 2 stars because the polishing was fine and the hot stone massage (as quick as it was) was nice. I've been here before and would've given them 3 stars then, but 5 days after I got my toes polished- it came off. So I decided not to review at that time and give them another shot. It's ok-- but I usually go to Utah once a month for family stuff- and I get it done there. Will probably stick to doing that. read more

i would give these salon a zero if i could... i made an appt. for 3pm and didn't get in until 4:30. The guy was rushing and cut my finger and didn't say sorry and didn't acknowledge it. The customer service was poor and when there was a question about the gel the man threw the gel examples and threw a hissy fit! DO NOT GO THERE !! save your time! read more

I'm not impressed unfortunately. They heavily layered the gel polish on after my fill, doing 4-5 coats of gel, not sure what the reasoning behind that was. I asked for a fairly simple rhinestone design and they didn't have proper tools to hold onto the rhinestones so it kept falling everywhere, then she used such little glue that the rhinestone just slid off with hardly touching it, and she told me she couldn't do any better. They were pretty nice, double booked which is to be expected at places like this. I don't have a problem with the prices and the finished product was nice enough, but I'm not excited about my nails like I usually am. I wish I could find a place in this town to do more intricate/complicated stuff!! read more

I love Lovely Nails. Edie and I have been going to Paul & Ivy for many years and they are wonderful. For those people with Disabilities that have complained, my suggestion is for you to MAKE AN APPT. If you walk in with NO APPT except to wait like most places. The Pedicures are so wonderful and relaxing. Paul and Ivy take pride in trying to help so many customers when they just walk in. Myself and Edie will NOT go any place else for our Gel Nails and Pedicures. They are very hard working folks with always a HELLO, HOW CAN WE HELP YOU, but we have witnessed people that walk in with an attitude expecting immediate attention without an appointment. If you are disabled in any way; if you have a disabled friend or family member; if you care about how disabled people are treated - do NOT go here. Very upset about this place's treatment of the disabled. One of the staff was so mean I was crying and I told him to just stop, but he kept on lying (that the State Board says no service dogs in nail salons - completely false) and not knowing what he was talking about. The nails that Ivy did were good, and she held my hand while I was crying - would have been nice if she just told him to stop... But they should know the Federal Law - Americans with Disabilities Act and he should have just zipped his lip when I told him to stop or another staff should have told him to stop. Really, once I was already crying... He was just a jerk to keep at it. read more

I will NEVER come back to this place ever again last year my daughter wanted to get her nails done so for Christmas I got her a gift certificate to this place due to COVID we were unable to get her nails done right away well on 10/25/2020 I took my daughter to get her nails done I called ahead to make an appointment a gentleman answers the phone and gave me an appointment time of 6:15 pm my daughter was so excited to get her nails done we decided to go a little early and wait no big deal my daughter gets there at 6:00pm she was waiting patiently for it to be her turn two ladies walked in after my daughter well my daughter sat there and waited and waited I finally was starting to feel a little disappointed in the nail tech so I said my daughter had an appointment at 6:15 and she is still waiting mind you it's almost 7 at this point the guy stands up takes my daughters gift certificate ripped it up gave me cash and told me to leave then the rude customers who mind you said she was a nurse at the hospital here in twin decided to start to run her mouth to me about maybe I should just leave and do my daughter nails myself long story short I WILL NEVER EVER TELL ANYONE TO GO TO THIS PLACE and I do remember what the " nurse" looked like so I will definitely be fileing a complaint against the business and that nurse DONT GO HERE read more

The ppl here are very friendly I will admit that. I went in today & I wasn't expecting to spend $55 dollars on a full set. To me that's pretty pricey but I was just like fuck it why not. I told the lady I wanted the shape coffin & I also wanted them LONG! This is what I got .. it literally looks like I already need a fill. These aren't the length that I wanted them and also these nails look oval shaped not even coffin. The service is excellent but their work is shit. I won't return. This used to be my favorite place to get my nails done until I had a bad experience with a nail tech who did a terrible job on my nails. Yesterday I decided to try it again after a year and I left even more disappointed than last year. I was told $34 for my fill by the nail tech but at the time of check out Paul told me it would be $53!!! That's as much as a new full set. I was pissed. I will not be giving them another shot after this. My nails are nothing great, I have several nails that are uneven and very noticeable by running fingers over them. I called and was able to walk in and get a regular full set right away. The place was clean and the staff were friendly.

I had been here before and usually had a great experience, this time was not so great. Upon getting my pedicure the nail tech used cuticle nippers on the skin of my toe causing it to bleed. Then used a pumice stone on top of cut area, taking first layer of skin off. I paid extra for callous removal and all that was removed was on the side of my toe. The tech didn't use the usual file they use on my heels with callous removal, what a rip off! Will not return, very poor pedicure for the cost. read more

My daughter and I went in this morning and felt super rushed both techs were in a hurry there was hardly no massage....there was only 1 other customer In the salon at the time ..changed 35 dollars for my 9 year old to get fingers and toes painted regular polish when she told me at first it would be 25 price is not really that big of a deal it was the whole experience terrible customer service! Cost on the front end may be a little more but french pedicure hasn"t chipped in 4 weeks and full set of pink and whites 3 weeks later fixed 3 for free! Great service there Paul! This place clearly needs to go bye bye! The reviews say it all. My disabled, elderly sister went here today for her nails. When we walked in they acted like we weren't allowed and were in wrong place by the way they failed to greet us.what did we want? Nails done. She says pick color. We do. Man tells her where to sit. Does her nails in minutes. Never spoke a word to her. Never smiled. All were talking in their language and staring. So awful. Horrible service horrible! We leave and my sis says thank you. Nothing. No one said a word. She leaves and says "I said thank you? He never said anything." Her one pleasure she gets and they had to overcharge for the shitty service! NEVER GOING BACK IT SUCKS! Terrible experience there today. I had an appointment for 4:30 and arrived on time. Technician told me to pick out the color an wait. After waiting for 20 minutes I asked if someone will be helping me soon and she said that not for another 25 minutes. This would have made it a 45 minute wait with an appointment! They weren't particularly apologetic or nice, she just went back to working on another customer. It seems that this place is very understaffed. There were only two technicians and about 6 customers. Also, a very small selection of colors. Will never go there again!!! read more
