Let me tell you this is beyond the most lovely people I have ever met. it was my first time coming to Avon for a wedding, and I wanted to get my nails done. I came in with low expectations bc of reviews on yelp however I was astonished by the result and hospitality the workers gave me. I got my nails done by Cindy the owner I believe. She conversed with me and told me stories about her culture and she made sure I was feeling comfortable the entire time. I gave her an inspo picture and she delivered! Moreover, my dad received a foot massage from Cindy's dad and he was satisfied no pain just relaxing. My younger sister and nieces first experience with nails and it was great as well! I am not the kind of lady that pampers herself often. In fact, this was probably my first mani-pedi in 3 years. They typically just dont fit into my life since I work with my hands and work with food so nail polish just isn't practical. But I had some time off and felt like spoiling myself. Let me start by saying the pictures I'm posting are after an entire week of moving, cleaning (hard scrubbing), and packing. Not a chip! I did break one nail a little bit, but the polish has held up impeccably. Like, I dont know if they used car paint or what, but the polish is essentially still perfect and I have not been gentle on it AT ALL! Everyone on staff was super friendly and as far as I could tell, they were following Covid protocols. There were dividers between the pedicure massage chairs - yes that's right- staff was wearing masks, and the only other lady in there besides my friend and me was at the other side of the parlor. They scrubbed out the foot baths immediately after our pedis too. I was a little apprehensive about spending the extra for the gel polish, but it's been worth it. I'm a little sad I have to take it off to go back to work because it still looks like I just got a manicure! read more

No, just no. The odors are so strong, I left with a headache. They are doing nails without ventilation. Cleanliness is very poor. The man, doing my pedicure, was wearing visibly dirty clothes. I would not recommend this place at all. I called in the morning and booked an appointment for my daughter who was coming in from out of town. I told her what my daughter wanted, she asked me what time we wanted to come in. I told her 5pm. We arrived a few minutes early, checked in. They asked if we had an appointment, I said yes. They said the lady Cindy was busy, asked if we were sure we had an appointment. I showed the text I had received from Cindy. They seemed surprised. After being passed around to multiple people, someone finally asked my daughter what she wanted. She needed 3 nails replaced, and new polish with dip. They obviously did not understand. They removed all of her nails! She told them that wasn't what she wanted. At this point we were both so shocked we told them we were going to leave. I've never seen any place like this!! read more

My wife and I were walking to the local City Market and turned up the wrong street. And right there was Lovely Nails. The sign said Pedicures and even more important: OPEN! We walked in and were immediately escorted to 2 very comfortable pedicure chairs. The service was fantastic (I have very challenging feet and nails). The massaging chairs were awesome and as firm as you wanted. They provided each of us with a bottled water and told us to sit back and relax. Great experience. Everyone was so nice and they did a great job! I had a pedicure and full-set acrylic, my sister had a gel pedicure and my daughter had a gel manicure. Worst eyelash experience ever. I went in to get my professional eyelashes removed and the entire time she was putting the removal serum on she was talking on the phone in another language. She was asking me questions mid conversation with the person on the phone and was very unprofessional. But the worst part was the serum she used. She haphazardly put it on my lids and it got into my eyes and created a excruciating burn. She was harsh on my eyes when removing them and told me to get up and wash my eyes, but I couldn't open them to see where I was going because of the burning. She offered no help to get me to the sink and I literally had to feel my way around to get there. It was the worst. I will never go back. read more

Great customer service, awful pedicure though. I paid extra for the shellac so that it would last. I had 2 nails peel off within 12 hours. They told me to come back so they could fix it and were kind enough to even stay late to help me after I finished a double. She said it was because my nails were so short-well, she's the one who cut them that short! I do like them short, but not if it won't hold the polish. Super cool of them to fix it and stay late. BUT, within another 3 days 3 different ones fell off! In addition to the poor shellac or gel, I still had far too much callous on my heels and toes as well. Horrible service. I did a fill with regular polish and it seemed like my nail tech does not know how to do acrylics. All of my nails came out super uneven and my nail shape is supposed to be coffin shaped and it did not look no where near it. Her nail polishing skills sucked as well because it was all over my cuticles and she missed some spots on my nails. Normally, nail techs are supposed to "clean" the areas of the nail polish where it's not supposed to be but this place doesn't do it. I went with my brother's girlfriend and she had a gel polish and she said her nail tech was good and detail oriented. When I was finished drying my nails, I asked my nail tech how much I owe her and her response was, "$35 for you and $35 for you too," my brother's girlfriend told her she already paid. Her response was, "Are you sure?" Excuse me!? I didn't appreciate that response and shouldn't have left her any tip from the bad service and her attitude. I love Lovely Nails. I have lived in the valley for almost 9 years and have tried almost every nail salon. You can get a decent and affordable manicure and pedicure at all of the salons. What I love about Lovely Nails is that it is a family owned business and they really care about the work they do. Excellent customer service and very very little turnover with the staff. One employee left a few years ago to open her own salon, but almost all of the employees have been there for at least 9 years. The salon is clean, comfortable and cheery. Most of Cindy's customers have been coming for years. But even if you are visiting, and we get many many visitors in this valley, you will be treated with respect, you will get excellent nail care and you will leave with a smile. read more

She dropped one of the tools on the floor and picked it up and started using it again on my foot!! So why even pretend to sterilize. Do not get lash extensions here!!!! I got mine done there three weeks ago and my real lashes have been falling in big clusters. I have to use eyeliner everyday so that people won't notice the holes and I still have glue stuck in what's left of my lashes. I've had lash extensions before but they were done very professionally. When they fell my real lashes where intact and there was no trace o the glue. The glue they use in this establishment must be low quality or not even designed for this. read more

My Favorite Nail salon in the Vail Valley! Tracie is the best! Tracie does my nails, eyelashes and waxing. In the past I had trouble finding a good nail tech that could make my nails even. Tracie is consistent and always on time! I have gone to multiple people in the valley for my eye lash extension and I am most pleased with my lashes after going to Tracie at Lovely nails. They look so good my mom even started going for her own. There is a more natural option and more dramatic option where the lashes are a little thicker, which I prefer. If you are someone that rubs your eyes a lot then the lashes are going to fall out, and obviously if you put your face in to hot steamy water the lashes are going to start to fall out. its always a good idea with or with out lashes to use a lash serum. first off I am not one of those people who leaves negative reviews if you have nothing to say don't say anything and perhaps I maybe I got a bad girl having a bad day and not everyone does the same job I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt, however in this recession I'm much more likely to spend my hard earned money where I am treated like a valued customer. but I was so excited about this mani pedi I scheduled the week before and then to get there and then receive the worst level of any customer service in any instance of my life, was unbelievable I even began to look around the salon to see if this was really happening but it wasn't a bad dream at all. From the second I was sat in the pedicure chair I was being rushed out as fast as possible the whole pedicure process from the start to finish took a whopping 20 minutes. Then the 15 minute long manicure hustled began she put lotion my hand then had me wash my hands and come back and polished them then became visibly irritated that I had to charge her tip next to the sign on the wall that says "Cash Tips Accepted" and she had to walk over to the counter and make a second credit card transaction, at this point for the first time in a very long time it actually crossed my mind about not tipping.
