Very Disappointing Experience at Infinity Spa…read more I have visited Infinity Spa many times in the past and have always had a good experience, which is why I was particularly disappointed with my visit today. My daughter-in-law actually had a very good experience with her massage and the room she was given, so I want to be fair and acknowledge that. Unfortunately, my experience was very different. The massage itself was not good. The technique felt more like poking than a relaxing massage, and I was placed in a treatment room that appeared to be used for other types of treatments. The room did not have the serene, spa-like atmosphere I have experienced at Infinity in the past. Most concerning, there were exposed water pipes above the treatment table that were actually dripping water onto me during my massage. I had to point this out to my masseuse, who eventually covered the pipes with a bag. When I finished, I went to the relaxation room expecting to have some quiet time to unwind. Another guest was there playing a game on her phone. She then received a phone call and proceeded to have a lengthy conversation in the relaxation area. I eventually glanced in her direction, and she left the room. When I checked out, I told Mauricio at the front desk that this was probably the worst massage I had experienced there and that I was very disappointed with the room. I specifically mentioned that water had been dripping on my head and explained that I had been to Infinity many times and had never experienced anything like this. His response was essentially that they have to use all of the rooms. I understand that the spa needs to utilize its available rooms, but that doesn't make it acceptable for a guest to have water dripping onto them during a treatment or to be placed in a room that does not provide a comfortable, relaxing environment. Unfortunately, the experience became even more upsetting after I left the spa. The woman from the relaxation room confronted me in the hotel lobby, berated me, called me a derogatory name, and yelled at me because I had glanced in her direction. I walked away, but she approached me again at the valet and continued yelling at me. I am not including this to blame Infinity Spa for the behavior of another guest, but it certainly added to an already disappointing experience. I am sharing this because I have been a repeat customer and have generally enjoyed Infinity Spa in the past. I hope management will take this feedback seriously, particularly regarding the condition and suitability of the treatment rooms and the overall guest experience. I would like to feel confident returning in the future, but today's experience was far below the standard I have come to expect from Infinity Spa. Update to My Review I wanted to update my review after speaking with the manager. She was very kind, listened to my concerns, and sincerely apologized. She also offered to refund the cost of my massage, which I greatly appreciate. I was very pleased with how professionally she handled the situation and made an effort to make things right. As a longtime customer of Infinity Spa, I truly appreciate her response and hope to return in the future.

Her establishment may be a little hard to find. Just look for it in the same building as the Swiss Haven restaurant (where they serve fondue!). She is on the third floor. If Mary Jo is running a few minutes behind, make sure you grab a glass of vino from Alfonso downstairs. Don't worry, it's cool as long as you bring back the glass. What to expect when receiving a pedicure from Mary Jo: 1. Foot soak in a metal tub. (you will not find the big pedicure chairs with jets here) 2. A sugar scrub. Several scents to choose from. 3. Paraffin wax foot dip. HEAVEN! 4. A thorough application of polish. 5. Several minutes under the dryer. Gotta make sure they are super dry to put back on socks and boots! My toes looked great and I loved the color! I read a few other reviews that said there wasn't a good variety of nail polishes to choose from. I found quite the opposite! I had a hard time choosing. Plenty of reds, neutrals and even yellows! Forgot to mention she did my pedicure and my friend's simultaneously. Handled very well I might add! The price is very 'ski resort' driven. You're going to pay twice what you would normally at 'home'. Sigh. I will say I felt like the paraffin dip made up some of that cost though and it was soooo needed since I was all dry from lack of humidity.

We called around to a few places and found out the general option was more of a seat and then treatment type idea. Luckily, one friendly receptionist at another spa recommended Refresh! We came for the 50 minute Refresh Massages and arrived about 30 minutes early. The friendly staff welcomed us and offered us a water or yummy tea beverage. Then we picked from 6 different aromatherapy scents (I chose a fragrant oolong option). The locker room was small but nice with a eucalyptus steam shower and spa-like products to use. A nice plush robe and slippers were provided and then I began my relaxation time in the Tranquility lounge with my feet propped up on a comfy lounge chair and ottoman. My massage was INCREDIBLE, and I left feeling like a new person... but not before I took a steam shower and nice relaxing regular one too! Great, great spa! Also, the add on options to massage like oxygen and sinus aromatherapy are super to know about if you're having altitude sickness.
