I don't agree with the negative reviews. I've been here many times for manicures and pedicures and have never had a problem. The staff is eager to please and experienced. I appreciate their kindness and calmness. My gel manicure is lovely and long lasting. Pedicures are comfortable. It is one of the cleanest salons I've ever been to. They have brand new chairs and desks and pedi stations. I recommend this salon. They are friendly and eager to please. read more

I am not surprised to see other negative reviews for Lovely Nails. I tried Lovely Nails for the first time this Friday. I was looking for a place close to work to stop on the way home. I walked in in Friday afternoon and asked for a gel manicure, I was told I would have to wait 10 minutes. It turned out to be more like 20 minutes because on three people were working. That was not a huge deal. The manicure was fine, the manicurist was sweet and worked fast. She mentioned that something was wrong with the polish, that she would have to do three coats for it to not look streaky. No big deal. About 24 hours after my manicure, my nails started to turn a brownish color. The original color was a cream. By Sunday my nails were completely brown. It looked like I has a nail fungus. I was so embarrassed that I has attend a bridal shower and work like that on Sunday and Monday because I had no time to get them fixed. After work I went back to Lovely Nails and explained what had happened. I was told I must have went tanning or dyed my hair myself without wearing gloves. I explained I don't use tanning beds and haven't dyed my hair in at least 5 years. I was told by the manicurist that originally did my nails to pick a different color, preferably something darker. That made total sense to me. Maybe it was something wrong with the color. When I picked a darker color I was told by the manager that it would cost me $10. I asked why and was told if I got the same color that it would be free but if I wanted to change it, I would be charged $10. It was explained that this was their policy around people changing their mind about a color. I explained that I hadn't simply changed my mind that my nails had turned brown. The manager insisted that it was something I had done and not their issue. I was even asked if I had worn black clothing....as if you can't wear black clothing when you have polish on your nails?! In the end I had the polish completely removed. I was told that if I had them re-do the same color and if they turned brown again I could then get another color for free. I explained that I work full time and have children and don't have time to come back three times in one week to get the manicure I already paid for a few days ago. I was not offered a color change or my money back even after I explained that I had to arrange for someone else to pick my daughter up from school so I could be there that day to get it fixed in the first place. I will never go back to Lovely Nails- their customer service is so poor. I was treated like a liar and told repeatedly that I MUST have gone tanning, dyed my hair or wore black (????) and wasn't being truthful. I nearly cried, I was so frustrated. read more

I went here before a wedding with my mother and a friend to get manicures and pedicures. All of us had a rough experience with painful procedures. It cost me 65 dollars for a fill and a regular pedicure and after a week my nails look like complete crap. I don't recommend. read more

I went to Lovely Nails this afternoon walked in and not acknowledged. I asked if I could get a color change and no response. I proceeded to walk out and then the woman says sorry! Not sure how they are in business but they need some social skills. The obviously don't need my business. read more

I called ahead for a shellac color change. The woman at the station closest to the door was very friendly. I picked a color and sat while she finished another client, didn't wait too long. She began to take off my existing gel and I've never had my nails hurt more. She was very agressive, even when filing and buffing! I was trying to pull back when it hurt but she didn't seem to notice. Once that was over, she never had me wash the residue from filing/buffing, off my hands before applying the basecoat of the gel, which out of the hundreds of times I've had gel done, I always washed my hands with no soap. After the basecoat was on she then wiped my nails with alcohol before putting on the gel color, again never had done that way before. Went home and an hour later, 2 nails chipped and broke because of how flimsy they were. I called to let her know, she offered for me to come back in to have them fixed but I honestly just don't want to go through that experience again. read more

This is a very nice nail salon that does a great job. I get the gel manicure and it routinely last two weeks. They also paint my daughters nails (she is two) and they are so sweet to her! The owner is especially nice and their prices are very reasonable. read more

I really, really like this place! I think the prices are great and the service is wonderful! They do a great job with your mani/pedi! They take their time and make you feel welcome instead of rushed. I've come here a couple times and every time I was not pleased. I got gel every time, the first time the lady doing my nails got the shellac all over my skin and once it dries theres not taking it off unless you take off all the polish and thats what I had to do because it looked sloppy. The second time they only made me soak my nails for 2 minutes and the polish was not ready to come off so the lady scrapped my nails with a sharp metal tool and layers peeled off and my nails were so thin, not to mention the manicure was shitty. My last visit was just a disgrace, I told the lady doing my nails what happened last time and I kindly asked her if she could use a different tool and to let me soak longer. Her reply was "NO! I use this tool. Not healthy to soak for too long." I sat there in pain while my nails were being scrapped off and again I got a shitting manicure, but this time they chipped the next day (gel is supposed to last 2-3 weeks) and I was left with bubbled nails. I definitely do not recommend to anyone 0/10 I wish I could give it zero stars because thats what it deserves. After going to this place I would be more than HAPPY to pay $40 for a gel manicure at Aria and have them accommodate my needs, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more
