Now that I am an adult I can finally go inside after seeing this store for decades! Beyond being curious I was interested in actually shopping here if I found something alluring. Once I walked in there was hand sanitizer available and my temperature was taken. The manager asked if I was looking for anything particularly and I remembered in that moment that I needed to purchase a wedding gift. The manager listened to the style of the bride and offered some great suggestions of lingerie. There was this really cute baby doll lingerie for the bride (she loved it by the way!). They also carry various styles of men's underwear. I purchased two pairs (one for the groom as a gag gift). After selecting the gifts I wanted to explore a little more. The manager was very detailed in explaining the different toys, lubricants, and toy cleaners. Also, if you are a fan of corsets the store have a great collection of them. In a sense I felt like I had my own personal shoppers because she was such a great help with finding products that catered to my liking. Furthermore, she gave my a great discount because I have gathered quite bit of everything. I recommend that you sign up for their email listing. One of my absolute favorite places to shop for all my fun adult needs when I'm in town. The store is always clean. The staff is always helpful and make me feel comfortable for whatever I'm looking for. One of my favorite staff members is Tierra. She helped me my first time there a few years back and now whenever I'm in town I make sure to swing by and see if anything peeks my interest. Excellent selection of lingerie and other "fun stuff". Sales associates are very knowledgable and can answer any questions you may have, no matter how personal, in a professional manner. Keep in mind, these girls do this on a daily basis. You have to give them credit, it's not an easy job, not many are cut out for it. I think it would be a simple gesture for them to tell people that NOTHING is returnable it exchangeable ..... just like chipotle warns you that guac is extra they should remind you before you spend a good amount of money that you're stuck with it .. wether it's defective or broke or just doesn't work , you're stuck. I bought a halloween costume here... im not buying from them again. The costume i bought was $155, so i tried it on, the size fit ok but they dont let you try on accessories because they easily get ruined (which is fine but when i got home i noticed the sleeves didnt fit well) If i could suggest one thing for them to do i would suggest them have a "try on costume" that is used only for trying on and not to be sold to costumers, here is why... So in a rush i try it on, decide to buy it and when i got in the car i took it out to make sure its in good condition, well its a very elaborate expensive costume with beading and sequins. well when i looked at it i noticed that there was beads falling off, the gold stitching details were all half unraveled and it looked worn and ruined, even the thick gold rope was broken in half on both of the sleeves. so of course i went right back in and kindly asked to return it since they didnt have another small in stock "we dont do returns" ok, well at this point i had taken out the costume and showed them the snags and how its falling apart instead of saying "lets order you another one! im sorry that it was damaged you spent a lot on this let us fix this for you" they asked me " OH, and you didnt see this while you were trying it on?" i was really surprised and said i wasnt looking at the stitching falling apart that closely. It seemed clear that it has been tried on one too many times, even the words on the costume bag were completely worn off, the acc. bag was opened.. I said "well i think someone tried it on and ruined it" they snapped at me that it was never tried on before.... really? so they ordered it from another location and im left worrying that they will either send me another damaged costume or mess it up somehow. i was planning on going out of town for a week and they called and said my costume was in, i asked if i could pick it up in two weeks and all she could say was "you cant come in sooner?" so i cancelled my plans for this week so i can pick it up. my boyfriend bought an $80 costume from them and they didnt remove the Ink tag either so he has to go back and have them remove it because they have a special machine that gets it off ink free. The best aspect of Lover's Lane is the flap it created amongst the elite Cress Creek residents, but I understand - who wants to allow a clean, well-lit sex shop into a neighborhood where all the nookie happens strictly in dark bedrooms? It's pretty corny really, a popular bachelorette party place. But it's a start, and I almost give it four stars for having the balls to reach to mainstream America. The San Francisco folks wouldn't even notice it existed. I made a few purchases here and looked on amazon to find the prices reduced to half the price they charge. The staff here are also weird and know too much for their own good. They are very helpful. Service and selection of toys are pretty good. Unfortunately, when it comes to clothing items, you're not going to find much if anything in a plus size. And everything is understandably non-refundable; but that means you run the risk of buying the plus size online and being stuck with it if it doesn't fit. The experience I had here was extremely comfortable and pleasant. I've never been to a sex shop, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous, however, the kind, professional, and extremely knowledgable staff helped ease my nerves and choose a product that I absolutely love. It is good for basic needs, but they do have a pretty good selection in my opinion. These other reviews almost discouraged me from going to Lover's Lane. Remember that these guys have several locations are are reputable. The store was very clean, the people working didn't seem strange and were the reason why I enjoyed the experience so much. My wife and I went into this store for the first time together just the other night. Neither of us were in our comfort zone at all. When we walked in we weren't greeted by anyone even though we were the only customers in the store and there were at least employees working. Then about 3 minutes behind us walks in another couple and they were greeted and treated like they had graced the store with their presence. At one point my wife picked up a toy and the store employee that was helping the other couple out actually took it out if my wife's hands. My wife and I looked at each other in disbelief. At this point one of the other employees , a young young girl, came over to finally help us out. We did decide on the toy that we wanted and went to purchase. The young employee was having troubles working the register and another employee, who I think was the manager, came over to help. Aside from the fact that this employee was clearly upset that she had to help, her clothing was so trashy and inappropriate that she would have been better suited to work on a corner. The young girl finished the transaction and told us that since this toy has 2 motors in it that it carries a 1 year warranty. We got home and charged the item as per the items directions. The next day my wife and I went to try it out. It soon became very clear that the toy was defective. One of the motors would work sometime and not others and the toy would heat up at times making it uncomfortable for me and my wife. The next day (sunday) my wife took the toy to the store to exchange it for a working one. Considering that this toy was almost $200 and that she had all of the original packaging and the original receipt along with the card used to purchase it she felt that this was going to be a quick and easy exchange. She told the employees that it was defective and what was wrong with it. She even told them how it became extremely uncomfortable and somewhat painful. The response she got was "we do not offer any returns or exchanges. Call corporate. " Again my wife explained thst it was just purchased not 2 full daya ago. Again she was told to call corporate. My wife asked for thr corporate phone number and she was told to Google it. On the next day (Monday) I called the corporate office and told them what had taken place. I spoke with an extremely rude agent and was told that I would have to pay to ship the item back to them and that they would decide if the item was truly defective or not. She then went on to say that this would be a 15 week process and if they decided that the item was defective that a refurbished one would be sent out to replace this one. Then she said this: " but I highly doubt that that will be the case. The almost always never come back as defective. And when that is the case you will receive your item back once you pay us for the shipping." I tried to ask this agent questions and was interrupted over and over. Now I had to contact the credit card company that I bought the toy with to try and get our money back. Do yourself a favor and steer clear. The inventory is not that great and the staff has no people skills at all! read more

Plain and simple, if you want to go to a sex shop, do not go to this one. It's actually rather embarrassing this store is allowed to exist. For starters, the store smells like someone took a dump in their pants (probably one of the employees to be honest..) Secondly, the stores inventory was rather lacking, which one of the employees said was due to late shipments, but the bottom line is that they didn't have many items you'd hope to find. Lastly, and honestly the most frustrating, was the fact that the employees were neither friendly or helpful. When I was asking one employee about a particular product, she first glared at me, then rolled her eyes as another employee (who I think was the manager) also rolled her eyes and then rudely explained that they did not have the product and then tried to sell me an inferior product which cost more than twice what I wanted. In an industry that many people feel uneasy about, you'd think there'd be more of an effort to make the customer feel more comfortable; not with these guys. Definitely will NOT be coming here again. From the minute we walked through the door the staff acted as if we unwanted and immediately asked for our IDs in the rudest way possible, when my boyfriend wasnt sure if he had his instead of politely explaining that they needed to check as policy the clerk at the counter gave us all attitude and was highly unprofessional even after we had shown her our IDs and she had verified that we were of age. As someone who was interested in making a purchase I found it extremely off putting and instead left.
