I cannot say enough great things about this plumbing company. They recently came out to install a…read morenew gas line, my new dishwasher, multiple faucets, and new bathtub/shower valves, and the entire experience was honestly the best I've ever had with any home service company. From the very beginning, they were incredibly up-front, transparent, and patient. They took the time to explain every single cost, what the work would involve, and why certain steps were necessary. There were no surprises, no rushed conversations, and no pressure--just honesty and professionalism. That alone set them apart from other companies I spoke with. The technicians who came out were prompt, respectful, and extremely skilled. They treated my home like it was their own, kept everything clean, and made sure everything was installed perfectly. You could tell they take pride in their work and really care about doing things the right way. They answered all of my questions without hesitation and made sure I understood how everything worked before they left. The quality of their work speaks for itself--my gas line was done safely and cleanly, the dishwasher works flawlessly, the faucets look beautiful, and the new bathtub valves function better than they ever have. Everything was done efficiently, but never rushed. It is rare these days to find a company that is this honest, patient, reasonably priced, and highly skilled, all at the same time. I am genuinely grateful for their professionalism and the peace of mind they gave me throughout the entire project. I will absolutely be recommending them to everyone I know and will be using them for all future plumbing needs. If you're looking for a trustworthy company that does excellent work, this is the one!

You ran and hid. I guess I should have tried for several years as here you are almost 5 years later finally responding! Everything that I said in my review was 100% accurate, but I'm certain you remember perfectly the conversations we had 5 years ago, right? Luckily for me, the next plumber I hired had the knowledge and skills to fix the damage you caused so everything is working once again. Oh, one more thing, you have another negative review on Angie's List where another customer gave you an "F" rating and your response to them was simply "So sorry to hear that." That's your response? Just one bad review in 23 years, huh? I guess you will say that they are not being honest either, right?

I said sure and two plumbers arrived approximately 15 minutes later. Upon first diagnosis, I was told this was out of their scope of work and I could be put in contact with someone else outside of American Plumbing. Then, I was asked for the $65 service fee. Please note that there is a 3% credit card fee that they do not tell you about when you schedule the service. They also accept cash and check. Luckily, I had a check. After the plumber went to his truck and spoke to his supervisor on the phone, I was informed that his supervisor instructed him to perform a drainage check. However, he did not have the correct tool so he left and returned. The drainage check cost $225 and turned up nothing. Again, I was informed that the scope of work is out of their wheelhouse (even though I explained the expected issue over the phone). The plumbers themselves (although seems as though one was just a shadowing apprentice) were nice and tried to find the issue. The company though, should be clearer about payment terms and using the information from the client and plumber onsite to determine if services can be rendered and not continue to perform work just for the money. Honestly, I would not use this company again, but am not discouraging others from giving them a try.
