Were back baby! Happy to be updating my review with a solid 5 stars! I live close to Wally's so I do come here pretty often. Since my last review in 2023 I've been here no less than 50 times since then (figuring on at least 2 per month) and at least get some sort of hot food snack each time. For starters, there have been some changes with the pizza. My favorite now is simply the cheese. I know it seems plain, but its flavor is really really good, and it considerably less greasy then the pepperoni. This is especially important when trying to eat a slice in the car. My second fav is the 3 meat which offers a better balance of flavors than the overloaded pepperoni. As much as I love pepperoni, Wally's just puts too many on IMO. However, NONE of these can beat the Garlic cheese bread pizza which they only do once a month. Its truly phenomenal. There have been some updates to the other food offerings as well. Since my last review they have added hot Pretzels, Chicken tenders, smash burgers, and "soft" tacos to the menu. I can confidently state that the Tacos are my fav of the new items. The burger has potential but like most other things you have to get them when they are fresh. A burger that has been sitting in foil in a warmer for the last 2 hours just isn't going to be as good as a "fresh" one. The Tacos on the other hand seem to hold up better, and I actually could argue that they get BETTER if they have been on the warmer for a bit. They are more uniformly heated and the raw onions are softer because of it. I've had them both freshly prepared, and from the hot case and the hot case was actually better. The pretzels are good, but nothing to get too excited about and the tenders are pretty plain (pre-frozen and deep fried) as well. I actually have the habit of dipping them in the nacho cheese and it makes a world of difference. The breakfast tacos are still my absolute favorite go-to quick breakfast and the Smores and chocolate chunk cookies always tickle the sweet tooth perfectly. read more

We love Wally's! We make sure to save time anytime we find ourselves out in Fenton on 44 to stop by and enjoy the fun at Wally's. This gas station is enormous and seriously has something for everyone in tow. Even our grumpy pre teen found something that he enjoyed here and when leaving admitted it was cool and glad we stopped! If you haven't tried the pizza here, definitely consider it as they have by the slice and whole pizza options and the pizzas are HUGE! We left with a 3 meat one and had to break it down to get it to fit in our fridge at home. Staff is extra friendly and ready to help, and the place is nice n clean and plenty of restrooms too ;) read more

OK, so if you're gonna do a knock off of Buc-ees down to the beef jerky wall and the barbecue stand at least try to do something unique or do something better. I had a friend say "go go to Wally's try Wally's." I made a special trip and I walked in. Walked around couldn't find anything interesting or unique and ended up leaving. The folks there were friendly, but there wasn't anything that made it stand out from a normal gas station convenience store other than the fact it was large and you could tell that they were desperately trying to be Buckey's and to steal from the Buc-ees brand. Wally's has just about everything you would need for your road trip. Smells like fresh popped popcorn when you first walk in. Wall to wall with food, camping supplies, souvenirs, apparel, you name it. I am a local and recently stopped by to see if they had a camping item I couldn't find. Sure enough they did but pricey (thus the 4 star). Fun place to stop while you're on the road. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Worth the stop while traveling. read more

This was a spectacle of a convenience store and I mean that in an endearing way. An incredible selection of snack foods and freshly prepared fast food selections, BBQ, desserts and Jerky by the pound! I tried out the smash burger and Brisket sandwich; both were solid and were on par with what you would pay for in a restaurant. The highlight for me was the jerky deli bar where you pay by the pound! The variety was impressive and I ended up buying a pound of Honey jalapeño and Jerk Garlic jerky, both were FANTASTIC! read more

I'm a big fan of the Wally's locations mainly with the one in Pontiac and I wanted to check out the St Louis location before stumbling to the nearby and new Indianapolis location opening soon. This location is smaller compared to the other location. There's not as much traffic coming to this location is right off the highway so it should get a lot of attention from nearby people but sadly it doesn't. Half the restrooms were working, food prices were fairly priced. Thankfully there wasn't a long line with checking out. Small amount of merchandise compared to the other location. Easy access to the streets and Highway nearby. Overall , I thought this was just an average gas station location. read more

As a first-timer to Wally's, I only controlled myself by not having a buggy! Anything you need related to refreshments, travel, quick foods, or gifts may be found here! I went just to "look", and left $140 lighter. I absolutely loved how open and bright the store was. It will instantly grab your attention, so proceed with caution. I started in the clothing, where I found cute t-shirts, socks, and ball caps. Everything was reasonably priced and sizing was not an issue. I scanned several shirts and jackets to check sizing, and an array of sizes were available. Most tees were $20 or less for reference. Lastly, they offered everything from facial moisturizers, to compression socks and personal fans. Again, nothing was over priced IMO. Moving on to the food...upon entering, the freshly popped popcorn grabbed you on the left...then immediately to the right were fresh bakery items like cinnamon rolls and cookies. I did purchase two cinnamon rolls (one with pecans and one without) for $4 each. They also offered to add extra frosting (for no additional fee). My need was coffee. So I drifted over to the coffee bar with various options, creamer, and sweeteners. I decided on the blueberry coffee (cause I'm a blueberry coffee type of gal)! I also got the largest size, because based on what I was already struggling to hold, there was no need to scale back now. It was super fresh and most importantly, there is ample space to 'make' your coffee! This space was clean, which if you're a coffee person, you know you've seen spilled coffee or sugar allllll over the counters before. Not the case here (which I highly appreciated). I ultimately left with fountain drinks, blueberry lemonade, cinnamon rolls, popcorn, 2 stuffed animals, t-shirts, ball caps, and a phone accessory. If you are ever in the area and need gas (plenty of pumps), or need a quick stop while on the road, I highly recommend Wally's. Holy moly... coming from Texas, I thought the "holy grail" of gas stations was Buc-ee's. I think Wally's might have a slight advantage on the Beaver. There has to be close to 100 gas pumps (???) here. Gas price was higher than we paid on our trip but I was on E with the gas light on. (Oopsie!) First off, the look of this place is AWESOME! I'd describe it "modern vintage." The main area has the highest ceilings. So bright and airy! The restrooms were plentiful and clean! The one side had all sorts of souvenirs and whatnot. Prices are rather high... 3 piece tenders were $6.50. Pizza slices were $4. T-shirts were $20-25. Magnet was $4. Icees weren't terrible at $1.59. Tenders were pretty good though and the blue raspberry icee was AWESOME! I never get those and boy, that was good! I would LOVE to see this brand expand. I guess there are 2 locations thus far. I decided to finally try the famous Wally's massive store and gas station This place is very big and has everything you can imagine. Fountain drinks, coffee, bottled drinks, fresh sandwiches, fresh desserts, and a store with all kinds of souvenirs and knickknacks. I would recommend the chopped brisket sandwich with barbecue sauce. I thought it was an excellent sandwich for the price. Their fresh homemade chips are really good. They tasted like they had a sprinkle of Parmesan on them. read more

Lots of pumps. The restrooms are nice and clean. For the wash area, they have soap, water, and a dryer all in one location. The dryer put out too much air. The dryer blows the water off your hands, into the bowl, and into your face. They have various types of food, from sandwiches to pizza. They also sell various flavors of popcorn. There are some Wally souvenirs. You can walk in for the restroom and end up $100 lighter when you walk out. read more

Love a good Wally's moment. They have some of the best snacks and drinks you can find. Their popcorn and pastries are delicious. This place is huge, and you could easily spend $100 dollars. There's something in here for everyone. I stopped in for some gas, but decided to go inside and browse. I ended up walking out with a brisket sandwich. It was delicious. As for someone who doesn't like bar-b-que sauce, the sauce that comes on it was delicious, and slightly tangy. Large and friendly, but watch the price of my next grab... $4 for a slice of pizza? The pizza was not fresh- sat in a case when I bought it. I opened the card board container to add parmesan... the hot sauce was all sealed- I guess to be sold. If I had not opened the container I would have just left it after hearing $4.19 total at the register. I know now why no price was put on the pizza. I have always been a fan of Wally's, but this quick grab made me think again. Wally's is still larger and more of a destination spot. Wow -- this place is super neat! In my opinion, it's cooler than Buc-Ees (it's also 10 minutes from my house and not in Texas, so the convenience factor obviously helps!) This place has everything you can think of... so many soda and jerky options, fresh BBQ, the size of a Walmart, and open 24/7. The staff are super friendly, the restrooms are insanely large, and they even have things like pastries, merchandise and so much more. I can't tell you how many people excitedly told me about this place while it was being built and after it opened. And we finally came ... to get gas and breakfast on Thanksgiving morning when everything else was closed. Gas was super easy and reasonably priced. The place is HUGE. I feel like I could have done half my Christmas shopping there if I'd been so inclined. And there were a million food options, including hot breakfast. I got blueberry coffee ... which was awesome. A must try!!! And I got a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a chicken biscuit for breakfast. They were just ok. I love biscuits, but these were dried out. Maybe they'd been on the warmer for a while. They tasted good, but were cool and dry. Just nothing to write home about. We did get an apple "hand pie" to share, and it was incredible!!! Cookies were good too. I always stop at location in Pontiac, Illinois on my way back Chicago. So , finally decided to stop in the location closer to St Louis. Just imagine QuikTrip or Wawa the size some Walmart stores. That would be the best way to describe Wally's. A see of endless choices of soda, chips popcorn and a whole humongous wall dedicated to jerky. There was a bakery in there, a BBQ station, a coffee bar and other bars and stations I cant even remember. The employees were friendly and the restrooms were huge and spotless clean. On this trip I got a fish sandwich. It was a 3.5/5. It's was really good and huge . However, it should have been more like $ $7 instead $9. Also it was seasoned which caught me off guard but made it taste even better. Pick up some David's cheesecakes. 5/5. the Wally's brand pepper jack chips were 2 out 5 nothing write home about. Overall, with the huge selection of items to choose from, I'm sure everybody will be able to find something that they really like on their first trip, second trip or whatever trip. Wally's is what every gas station wishes they could be. This is a great travel center for that long road trip to get out and stretch your legs. It's also a quick place to get in and out of for local drivers. One nice thing is that semi trucks are not allowed, so you don't have to deal with slow truck traffic. Another great thing is their large, CLEAN bathrooms. There's nothing worse than nasty gas station bathrooms on a road trip. Wally's has a large snack and drink area with every kind of road trip food/drink you can think of. BBQ is made in house along with jerky, popcorn, bakery items, and pizza. There's even a gift shop area that the entire family will enjoy. Bring on more Wally's, Buc-ee's, and QTs! Maybe all the sketch gas stations will step up their game. read more

Late on a Monday evening, I stopped in to check out Wally's. I've been to a half dozen or so Buc-ee's and there is a definite similarity. Both have lots of gas pumps, both have very clean restrooms, both have a clothing/memorabilia area, both have great drinks and coffee available and both have BBQ and jerky. Wally's also has popcorn which is a fabulous smell as you walk inside. It is directly off the Interstate and very easily accessible for even the largest vehicles. I had no trouble finding parking for the Sprinter van and it would have fit under the high roof gas pumps if I needed fuel. Yes, this is pretty cool and if you don't like crowds then you will want to come during off hours. No, Wally's has absolutely nothing to do with Walmart. Always a great trip to Wally's. Food fresh and hot . I ordered a meat lovers pizza and one snickerdoodle cookie and one slice of ooey gooey cake . Sooo moist, soft and delicious, melts in your freaking mouth. Snacks are plentiful, I also bought jalapeno honey and garlic jerky, yes it's expensive but it's my birthday why not lol. Jalapeno summer sausage is a treat as well . All delicious no complaints. Drinks are plentiful. Slushy drinks had great consistency. Walked around and browsed through the home store , great new items to laugh at . Souvenir options as well are plentiful. I was giving a Wally pin to celebrate my birthday yay!
