While staying at the Hyatt Regency for a IT conference in St. Louis, I ended up stopping by here for a drink! This Starbucks location was open when I entered around 7:00 A.M on a Monday morning. The team members were helpful! I like this Starbucks location as it is very spacious! There is a second level inside the Starbucks that offers seating and plenty of places to take a break, or work on your laptop! This Starbucks does offer a variety of food items such as breakfast sandwiches, pound cakes (Right now there is pumpkin and banana), cake pops, egg bites, and so much more! Since I had a late dinner the previous night, I ended up just getting a medium hot chocolate. Whipped cream was also added and it was made with whole milk. It certainly kept me full for the morning until lunch! The team members here were fantastic and friendly! The table seating that I sat at with a colleague was clean. If you're staying at the hotel, Starbucks is right inside the Hyatt Regency and it's a great place to stop by for some coffee or a snack! read more

Nice quick bite to each near the Arch and if you're in the area. The sitting area is so nice, the service and staff were great. The food was good as with all Starbucks. Nice snack while we were touring the downtown area. And they take the Starbucks app. Many that are connected to a hotel are not. Thus one is shared space with the Hyatt. read more

After checking into the hotel, I needed something to eat as I hadn't eaten all morning. I was excited to see that the Starbucks was right next to the registration desk. I swear it was my lucky day. LoL! Heading in, the location is super vibrant. Bright lights and light colors mixed with the pops of seasonal inspiration. The location was super clean and the staff appeared to be working together efficiently as the line was long but it was moving quickly. Once at the register, I was greeted by Brooke. Brooke was super pleasant, all smiles, and very welcoming. As I was hungry, I had taken the time to deep dive the menu so I was ready to place my food order. I decided on the Double Smoked Bacon Sandwich with Cheddar as it looked sooooooooooooooooooo good in the picture. Also, I was in the mood for a coffee but I didn't want just a simple coffee. Brooke suggested a Seasonal Frappuccino which was the Caramel Ribbon Crunch so I took her suggestion and went with it. Once my order was placed, I provided my name, and stood to the side to wait to be called. Due to the effective teamwork, my order was ready within what seemed like 2 minutes. The sandwich was hot and fresh and the frapp had my mouth watering. I was ready to enjoy! LoL! The Double Smoked Bacon sandwich truly hit the spot. The bacon was meaty and flavorful. The cheddar was fully melted and oozed in every bite, and the bread was soft on the inside and toasted on the outside. We are talking about a world-class amazing breakfast sandwich here people. LoL! The Seasonal Frapp blew my mind. It was like this delectable caramel haven with cookie pieces and caramel swirl. I have no idea what Brooke told me to get but she was SPOT ON with her suggestion. LoL! Also, the frapp wasn't too sweet and went perfect with the saltiness from the sandwich. Though my time in this Starbucks location was swift, it was impactful. Great Service. Great Food. I am SHOCKED how quickly they got us through line!! With only five team members, they were pumping out orders and keeping a line that went well out the door moving. And staying friendly! The drinks and food we're both great and on par with any Starbucks! I don't know that I would choose to sit down inside as the line kind of consumes the space, but the lobby is large and offers loads of seating. read more

Roomy, cozy, full seating, retail merchandise, artwork doned location. I know what you're thinking, "That was a lot." Well, being located inside the Hyatt Hotel I wouldn't expect a Starbucks of this magnitude. It certainly delivers service & amenities equivalent to any stand-alone Starbucks location. If you've checked-in, you'll find the cafe in the first floor, sandwiched between the gift shop and front desk. Please Note: There is no No Drive Thru, parking may require a bit of a work if all you're looking to do is grab Joe on the Go. On the main floor of the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Gateway Arch can be found a Starbucks. It is a typical Starbucks location offering a full range of the company product, including mugs and other items for purchase. Notably, I found it to be laid out to handle larger volumes of customers at a time. In fact, when I visited, the line extended out the door. It was so long that eventually I decided to go elsewhere to purchase tea. Not a negative to the cleanliness - it was very clean & well lit. I'm a frequent Starbucks patron and I normally will go to a Starbucks when traveling to various cities in US. When I was in St Louis, there was a Starbucks next to the Gateway Arch. I decided I would like a venti green ice tea and when I ordered my green ice tea, the employee informed me my Starbucks app with my credit card is not accepted at this store. I was baffled since I frequently use the app and was credit card is current. Lucky for me I had cash, otherwise it would been very embarrassing. I feel the employee is not aware the Starbucks app is valid in all Starbucks and proper training is needed. read more

Over last decade I have had opportunities to visit Italy and experience real coffee, espresso and cappuccinos. Attitude and coffee knowledge of cashier at this location made me think that the Italians got it wrong. The attitude, the arrogance and refusal to correct their thinking puzzled me the most. And according to this cashier on duty, the Italians have it wrong since the 17th century. I was so puzzled that I chose to look up definition of cappuccino before writing this. It was an indeed a very disappointing and humiliating experience at this Hyatt Starbucks location next to the Arch at STL. The pastries were not up to par as well. I came here to grab breakfast sandwiches and coffee for 4 people. The cashier did not understand that I just wanted egg and cheese sandwich without any meat. The Hyatt Starbucks was super fast and friendly. I got my coffee from Jay everyday, and his morning smile was greatly appreciated.

I was really impressed by how friendly the people working were. I didn't feel rushed to order and just found everyone really likable in my three visits here! My coffee was made just as I wanted it and for some reason tasted better than usual. There are some things they aren't able to do at this location, like accept coupons from your Starbucks account or rewards, or add money to your Starbucks card. I didn't totally understand why but I think they have a different kind of license or plan for this location- maybe because they are in a hotel? But when I showed disappointment at not getting to use my coupon for a free new coffee, the person working went above and beyond to make me happy and that was really cool- I didn't expect that and really appreciated it. Manager, barista, and four employees bee bopping around with inventory and other things while a line of people wait 10 minutes to be served. This is the Starbucks located in the lobby of the hotel we were staying at for our annual convention. It has a large seating area in the back with many tables for meetings or just comfy chairs to sit in. During my convention, I would duck down here to use their wifi and get some work done while I was on lunch break. This place has the same great drinks that you have grown to love and expect from a Starbucks. Everytime I came in here the place was spotless and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A continental hotel breakfast in disguise as a Starbucks. No coffee options other than Pike? Really? Really? I'm sorry. I thought this was a coffee shop. I was told that those options were only for breakfast times. Sorry I missed the last call. Then no wifi available for customers unless you're a Hyatt guest. What am I taking crazy pills! They claim to be separate from all other Starbucks since they're inside the Hyatt. Guess that means you should expect less. Right. I was passing by looking for breakfast and coffee before visiting the Archway. Figured Starbucks was a good idea but instead a real disappointment. Guess it's only here as an amenity to the hotel and it's proximity to the Archway. Please get with it. read more

Came here for a couple skinny vanilla lattes. It was crazy busy, but they still got everyone through in a timely manner. The lattes were perfect. They now honor the Starbucks rewards here according to a sign. read more

The staff here is very fast and friendly. I was greeted with a smile from multiple baristas and they started making my drink as I ordered and before I even had a chance to pay. I'm not sure why they can scan my starbucks card for payment but not scan for rewards? Service was quick and lots of seating areas. This Starbucks location is in the the Hyatt Downtown. It's a major godsend on Sundays when the 6th and Olive location is closed, _but_ the prices here are a bit higher (about $0.50) more. Not sure if that's due to hotel taxes or something, or if they just jacked them up due to a majority of their business being from hotel guests? Probably one of the worse experiences I've had with a Starbucks. Went there around opening for a quick breakfast. Had a long drive to Chicago. Ordered iced coffee and got a regular coffee. Ordered an egg cheese and sausage sandwich and got only bread and cheese. Didn't realize it until I was already on the road. There were over 5 workers and they all seemed lost. Just posting an FYI, you can use your Starbucks card BUT you can't use your rewards here. I've never experienced that so thought I'd share the FYI. They also don't have the yogurt parfaits, salads or sandwiches here. They do have the pastries and breakfast sandwiches. read more

I'm did not appreciate this Starbucks. I go to a Starbucks pretty much everyday and order the same exact drink. The girl working the counter was rude and charged me for a refresher drink not a plain tea. I asked her if she had charged me correctly because my drink was over $2 dollars more than usual. I have been at basically a Starbucks in every city. Even in downtown LA, San Francisco, and NYC a plain tea does not cost that much. She told me "You got a trenta it costs more!" Meanwhile, I order a trenta every single day. Then I heard her tell another costumer that it was only her third day. Super rude and full of herself for only working there a couple days. Not sure if it's because this Starbucks is located in a hotel, but it's not the best. The line is very long around check-out time and there is no mobile ordering available. The had 2 registers to order at, however there was only 1 cashier working making the line snake around the store. Their system was also down, so I wasn't able to pay with my Starbucks card. I would probably go a block down if you can for quicker service. read more

I've been to many Starbucks and have been generally satisfied with most of them. Not this one. The "certified barista," Lucy, seemed stressed out and was stressing out everyone else. She argued with me about what breakfast sandwich I wanted (even though I was pointing at it in the display cabinet), snapped at me a couple of times and gave me a cheap plastic bag to hold a mug we'd bought as a gift instead of the official Starbucks bags that were given to everyone else. Also, our hot chocolates were not mixed well and there was so much syrup at the bottom of the cup. Maybe this was an off day, but I don't plan to return to this Starbucks again. read more

Loved the convenience of being inside the hotel and not having to walk into the city. Always quick service but as previously stated, they do not accept rewards/coupons from the app. Also it closes at 5pm during the week which was disheartening after sitting all day in classes at the hotel and not being able to enjoy the cafe afterwards. Went to this Starbucks location twice in one morning and had terrible service both times. The cashier was rude, they set drinks/food down without announcing it was ready. I stood for about 10 minutes waiting for a breakfast sandwich and when someone finally asked me what I was waiting for the girl finally noticed that my sandwich had not even been put in the oven. The coffee was burnt and I got charged extra For Carmel but then when they gave me the drink it was what they would've normally put on it if I didn't get charged extra $.50. I shouldn't have to ask for more caramel when I'm getting charged for it I AHOULD BE GETTING IT. There's no need for me to hand back my drink to request what I ordered. I'm so glad you can't TIP when you use a debit card because half these people don't deserve one at all!!! The male was extremely beyond rude!!!! Never ever going back to this place.
